I finally learned on the piano after listening to this at least 50 times! Love this performance, there's nothing better to grab you by the heartstrings.
GREAT on everyone of us. Time can't last forever. If you're alive... right now....... breathe. Yes, breathe. Deep and open heartily. See where the light is coming from and now Be - hold... as in be - holding. Blessings all over US. Positive pulse accepted.
Jon, your performance of this is aurally stunning! You paced the work PERFECTLY to the acoustics of the sanctuary, and modulated expression flawlessly! The registrations you chose throughout follow the feeling of this work beautifully, rising and falling in power and majesty, tenderness and fragility! Thank you! It has been my great joy to hear and see your performance of "Poet and Peasant".
You’ve done it again, sir! Masterfully played and thoroughly enjoyable! Your skills never cease to amaze and delight me! Thank you so much for yet another 5-star performance, recorded so beautifully by your also astoundingly talented brother! You chaps are the best! ❤️❤️👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇨🇦
And thanks again for the chills down my back. How is is that your performance, and music in general can induce such a physiologic reaction? On that, this doc is clueless. Might be interesting to get a dynamic radioactive glucose PET scan while listening to your music. Probably my whole damn brain would light up. Damn that organ has teeth! AAAnnd, you didn't spare the pedal and spoil the performance!!! Sorry, I'm getting too clever! You two are just amazing. Mille merci.
A wonderful arrangement, wonderfully played. Thank you, Jonathan and Scott. . 👏❤️ (Although I am surprised that an organ of this size doesn't have a 32' Contre-Bourdon and a 32' Reed in the Pedal division. Maybe later?)
I would like to ask whether there is a reason that this arrangement can't be purchased on your website? As this is one of my favorite Ouvertures, I would like to study it myself.
Superb playing, Jonathan. I watch for everything you list on TH-cam. Just a side note, I usually HATE the sound of Rieger instruments, but this one is not so bad. A little broader in tone, not so strident as they usually produce.
Ignore the person says this shouldn't be performed in a church. You take me back to my high school years when I performed a lot of the same works in the orchestra that you have very nicely arranged for solo organ, including this piece. I do play the organ as a hobby, however I can only dream to one day play as well as you! If you ever tour America, please come to Denver, Colorado. Do you publish and sell copies of your arrangements?
Why such a timid approach? The word "fanfare" comes to mind. Give yourself the freedom to exaggerate. Work it! We'll figure it out when the dust settles. Wish I'd been there! Thank you for sharing. Moi
Mr. Scott is one of those talented musicians that plays so effortlessly, I am inclined to say, "Heck, I can do that!"
Only I can't. Not even close.
What a pleasure to listen to such a beautiful piece of music being played by such a talented organist.
Why am I just now discovering this masterpiece

Well said, abundantly well said, mister.
Jonathan is such a professional and the way he plays he appears to enjoy every organ he is fortunate to play
Love it, and what a beastie! Thank you both.
Oh, and check out Jonathan’s rendition of Saint Saens’ Organ Symphony Finale and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. Bloody amazing!
Thanks again Scott Brothers for making these Covid days more bearable.
Amazing

Beautiful organ, I had never seen such a design and the acoustics of the sound were perfect!
I want to go one something more thrilling than Merry-go-round 1.
Faultless, great piece, stunning organ, great video and sound. Spectacular setting
It was an honour to listen to that.

A wonderful arrangement, wonderfully played. Thank you, Jonathan and Scott. . 👏❤️

Maybe the designer of the organ came to the conclusion, that a 32' wouldn't fit the room.
chills
Hooah!

As heard on RCT's Carousel.

Sie haben recht: die Rieger mensurieren ihre Orgeln etwa zu eng.
I tend to agree with you about Rieger organs being "hard on the ears." Much prefer Klais (and others).
at 1:09, why does the expression pedal keep moving after he takes his foot off it? is it supposed to do that?
Does this Rieger organ really only have 56-note keyboards and a 30-note pedal board? Did the shortened range affect any of your arrangement?
😍😍😍😍😍
Was the church bombed in WWII? Judging by the interior it looks like it.
Hallo, gibt es die Möglichkeit genau diese Version für die Orgel zu kaufen?
LG und danke schonmal für eine Antwort
Anyone know what level this work is on the piano?

He does, on his website.
@@dorphmusiker3715 Thanks. Already figured that out and purchased it and many others! This is a duo with many great talents.

Fabelhaft!!
This kind of music has nothing to do in a church. Be decent, please, even if you dont believe in our Lord!
I'm sure god, if there was a god (and there isn't) would love it, as I did.
phoney piety. go away
Brilliant.
