I have been a dentist for decades now, and of course the trigeminal nerve is paramount to the practice of dentistry, However my understanding was superficial. There are only a couple with the detail, excellent anatomic illustrations, and clear explanation needed by someone who needs advanced knowledge. This is one of them. It is great for everyone else too--but it remains one of my go to videos for neuanatomic detail. Kudos for such a great vid!

You're knowledge of the trigeminal nerves are amazing! I'm watching this because my wife has burning mouth syndrome. Her palate, tongue, and teeth are burning continuously at extreme pain levels. Medications are no longer managing the pain. We are working with neurologists, GP, etc. all smart people that have run out of options for my wife. Because her pain is through maxillary and mandibular nerves this seems to cause confusion on where to look for treatment. What is your thought on her nerve pain?
