Yeah, makehuman is great for base meshes. I've been playing around with the beta version of the human generator addon lately, and that might be replacing makehuman for me though.

It's pretty simple. You just add a new uv slot, name it then unwrap your object again. In the shader editor add a UV map node and select the new UV map you just made from the drop-down list. Then connect it to the vector input of the texture. The camera icons can mostly be ignored. They just define which UV map to use if you haven't manually added a UV node already.
would be fun to see you add some subtle creepy animation... make the camera shift a bit, the wind blow the curtains and her dress material a bit.. and then have her head turn and look at the camera... LOL
las meninas - velazquez remade in blender will be a big project, but i highly recommend to study the painting regardless if you intent to recreate it or not . it’s a master class in composition and visual story telling. but i would love to see you make it, thanks for the cool vids
