Very cool! I honestly don’t know how you didn’t catch the dirt bike bug immediately after you had the KLX300sm but it seems like it eventually caught up with you! Granted, it was a sumo and you were on the street…regardless, I’m glad you guys are enjoying your time on a totally different skill level. Have fun out there and ride safe!
@@bubbazanetti6657 thanks man! I took the KLX off-road twice and it was pretty heavy, not to mention the tires were not adequate for dirt haha these are much better suited!

It’s great to see a couple get into dirt biking together. It is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!
Unless you get into serious racing, these bikes with a few mods will do about anything you want to do off road. Just ask Tanner at Adventure Daily.

i Think it was adventure daily that turned me onto a few mods for mine. Replacing the top handlebar clamp to move the bars forward and up a bit and wider foot pegs. Made a big difference. I’m 6’ and the bars felt too close. The aftermarket clamps give you 4 options for bar locations.

How fun for you two! I bought my granddaughters 2 Honda 110’s and they love them. Then I got them a very torquey Greenger 110, it’s electric and it’s a little beast. Have fun.

I just picked up a Honda CRF300L. I was inspired by your time with the KLX300 and I got to admit the thing is a blast to ride. Already got new bars and a full pipe on it. Going to be getting it tuned very soon. Can't wait to see what you guys do with these 250s!

@@SALTxTHExWOUND Oh yeah dude that is like all I have been doing with it lol. It is a remarkable bike for small errands and then for getting into some wild offroading when you got the time. My most recent video is of me riding it around in the desert near my house and hitting some trails. It is a blast!!!

Awesome looking bikes! Me and my wife are going this weekend to look at the same bikes. What riding gear are you guys going with? A video on the new dirt bike gear would be awesome?
If you get bit by the dirt bike bug after riding these, you'll be excited to move to liquid cooled in the future. Maybe consider a 2 stroke as well if you are open to that, absolute blast off-road. Main thing is have fun of course!

Awesome. You couple that rides together is a awesome duo. Looks like you pr having a great time. Dirt riding will teach you skills of sliding that are applicable to the street/track. Any reason you choose these over a CRF250L enduro bike,that you could ride to and from the trail without a truck?
You got that right! and honestly I've had 2 dual sports and learned that neither is really that great at both things, we want to just keep it light and offroad only for now
If someone was to buy the crf 250, for commuting, does one have to fix the headlights as aftermarket?
Yeah you’d have to buy a headlight, they make a kit for it. Or you could just buy the crf250l or crf300l that is street legal
Was the big wheel just too small or what? I want to get my wife a bike but the 250f is just too heavy for her.
The big wheel is perfectly fine, especially if she has little or no experience. My wife rides a 400lb sportbike also so she’s used to the weight
What trails will you ride other than Croom?
Not sure just yet but if you have any suggestions we’re open to them?! I know Croom is 2,600 acres so we’ll have plenty of land to explore there for now 😄
