    She can do a seven day video and no one would be able to re-create what this woman is doing because she’s an artist she knows anatomy of animals she knows where the muscles are ,the bones and this is how she’s able to make them look like real animals because she is a true artist .I am an artist and I couldn’t even get close to that kind of work and I do antique toy restoration this woman is phenomenal

    If it is given to children so it will easily be shred by their hands, I mean, Is it tough or durable ?? Btw it is really nice that shows some magic in your work. Learned alot!! TY

      It is delicate, and not really a toy. It will not hold up well to play. If there was no long wool roving added, it would hold up better for play.

      Sorry for the delay! I have included most of this information in the video description. There should be a little arrow to click just below the video title to show more of the video description. I included links there to the products I used as well. Sometimes the links no longer work if a exact product becomes unavailable, but the color and description should still be there to see.

    Can you give me some tips? I'm working on a dog and I think I need to make the legs longer, but I've already sculpted them including the paws, and attached to the body, so I don't know how I can retroactively make them longer. There is a pipe cleaner armature inside also.

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The armature might limit how much you can lengthen them. You may have to cut the legs off, maybe near the elbows (just below the chest/rib cage/belly). Then, depending on how much length you need, clear a bit of wool off the wire on each of the cut ends and twist in a new small section of wire to reconnect them. Then re-wrap with wool and be sure to felt the new wool into both of the cut ends. This is definitely a big challenge though. You might also be able to do this at the wrist joint instead of the elbow. I am just thinking that either of those two areas might best be able to disguise and slight lumps better because there is a natural widening there in the front legs. For the hind legs, cutting at the hock joint might be best. This is a really tricky thing to do, and I hope you are able to get something to work out! Best of luck!

    If you were to make a silver fox as a companion piece, how would you get the silvered tips on the black?

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very good question. I have never tried that. Perhaps have an inner layer using black mixed with slightly longer silver strands? I bet it would be tricky...

    where do you buy your material?

    • @kreationsbykrysta2134
      @kreationsbykrysta2134  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I buy from many different wool sellers on Etsy. I listed some in the video description, but I also use several others. I pretty much just search Etsy for the colors I need. I believe I usually buy my core wool roving from Dream felt (Etsy). Hope that helps :)
