I almost didn't watch, since my least favorite guitar type is "two humbuckers with no whammy". But this Epiphone brings some variety and an exciting low price to the party! Thanks for your review. Rock on dude!
Pretty cool guitar. Sikk finish. And because of you.... now I have a box over in the corner of my study. It's got a Deep Metallic Purple EVH Wolfgang Special. Opening it in a couple hours! Can't wait. Earl Teet is a killer store. Been there a bunch of times. Say hello to Troy Dryden if you know him.
@@GearGasms Love it, Brother! I mean... wow. It's a stunner... just like you said, and like in your vid. It's amazing. Flawless. I haven't been able to find one thing wrong with it. Literally perfect out of the box. And man - I bet the Satchel Zebra is also KILLER! Looking forward to that vid.
Hi Alan, I agree with you that is a beautiful finish, and it sounded good. If I didn't already have 9 EP LP'S, it would be a good investment. But we are at the stage of life I have stopped collecting equipment. Great review. 😊
I got a '96 Standard. Korean. It's a MONSTER! It's better than any production Epi or Gibson I've ever owned. And it's been a fair amount. That's why it stayed. I have an '03 Korean Zakk Wylde Bullseye Sig and at the same time I got a smoking deal on an '06 Chinese model. I am not against Chinese guitars. I have a couple and they are GREAT!! But the difference between the Korean and the Chinese Zakk's was readily apparent. Bthe Korean is about 2-#'s heavier. It's a boat anchor. Better quality guts and hardware . And the clear coat on the Korean is super thick. The Chinese poly is paper thin. I ended up selling off the Chinese. My wife brought me the Korean one. If she buys you a good guitar put a ring on her. Treat her right
@@joeyvanostrand3655 Cool n interesting, I used to not like when a guitar is heavy but I play sitting down 99.9 % of the time and I don't mind the heft n weight only when my back can handle it. Keep the wife, sell the guitar 👍 I had only 5 guitars when I met my wife, now I have 43 and my next acquisition picked out, I am extremely lucky, my wife never said I can't get any guitar or gear related items and she helps pay for it too. By no means are we well off. Peace and have a rockin good wknd 🎸
I was just saying I have 2 96s! One a sparkle - that whole series is amazing and one a plum burst that i put Dimarzio super distortions in. Agree that they are amazing! Better than the Gibson Tribute LP that I sold
That's pretty! I had a Sparkle Red Modern. Tuned down to Drop 'C' it was a BEAST! I'm still waiting on the Email from you that you are ready to sell it trade me that Window Faded Pink Sparkle Epi! Ha! I haven't asked in a year or so.
I have had two of these guitars first one i received the neck was twisted sucked so I had it had to go back but the second one is a lovely Burbon burst had some problems at first got them worked out its a Beast love it but had to put money in it twice 😂

Wow, thanks!
Interesting. My favorite position on a Les paul is middle also. For rhythm
A fellow weirdo! I love it!

lol I had 8 Epiphone LPs at one time and I thought I was excessive! 🤘🏻
Very good looks and tones from this Epi L.P. 👍 I have a mint old one that feels like a glove and sounds excellent.

Very nice! I have 2 96 years and an 02, in Epi LP standards. Those 90s Korean made ones are great!

Whoa! I thought I was bad with 27
Glad you like your axe!!! Enjoy!

Happy Friday Alan 🍺
It’s not quite time for a pint here but when it is, it’ll be a Heineken or two to lube up for my Trogly parody shoot! Cheers!
Nice guitar...
Happy Friday Mr. B!!🤘🤘🤘
Thanks! You too!
To be a LP type guitar, it has an impressive Strat tone Alan, thanks man
Yeah I was totally surprised! Thank you!
Thank you for saving me some money, not a les Paul at all super strat I think 😂
🤘🏻
Nice, seems like a lot of volume drop off when you split though.
It does - almost all of them do except the Charvels for some reason.
Yeah my PRS stays pretty consistent too
Epiphone custom.. modern figured models have been high end since 2020
Cool - I’m just now getting to know them
