Being of Irish and German decent (meaning around 5 or more generations before me, not like my grandparents were) I would kick myself in the ass a little harder and learn a good deal of German so I would halfway understand one of my top 5 favorite bands instead of enjoying one of their songs because the music arrangement. Maybe one of these days before I croak I'll learn how to say "Hello, how are you? Now fuck off" in German.😆 After thought: Maybe the German and Irish in my blood is why most of my family, me not as much, can drink pretty much anyone under the table. I learned a few basics but nothing beyond that really stuck. And greetings from the bourbon capital of the world, Bardstown, KY USA. I know Germans are more into their beer (which I would also love to try rather than our watered down version). You all have Oktoberfest and we have the Bourbon Festival. Small world.

They are as sarcastic as Rammstein sometimes. They sing in Icelandic but their music videos have English subs. "Hatrid Mun Sigra" is the song they sang at the ESC, which is hilarious when you know the ESC is all about no-politics, happy go lucky, peace and love. Other awesome songs are "Spillingardans", "Klefi / Samed" (following the ESC scandal), "Engin Miskunn". My other suggestion is *The BossHoss* a famous Berlin country rock'n'roll band (they sing in English). They are fun and give you good vibes. Nice songs are "EagerBeaver", "Do it", "Don't Gimme That". Fun fact they started as country cover band and covered lots of famous pop songs but also a Rammstein Song "Mein Land" and sung it in english "My Country".
