They are going in so hard on this story mode, and this is only the Soul Society arc, we still havn't seen none of the Substitue Soul Reaper and Arrancar arcs.
Yeah and with qhat they already showed from those two arc compared to what qe just seen with soul society, it's clear they puttin in work to make it faithful to the original.
Roster and everything looks good but I’m sure there gonna release more characters as the weeks get closer so some characters like shinji still have a chance

They showed him off in trailers already so theres a chances he's just not revealed yet or its a zangetsu and orihime situation where he might not be playable.

lol the cycle repeats itself again from the hype only to be disappointed in the end
I mean I get why you say that, I've had trust issues with anime games since 2018 lol. I still have my own gripes about stuff we still don't know about this game, but with what they have shown us it has looked decent. My only concern is what it has to offer as a package and will it have basic features needed for a good online environment.
It seems like they were purposely not showing characters who aren't confirmed yet, Komamura is gonna be in the base game I'm sure. He plays too big role is these fights involving Tosen to not be included, I'm sure Hisagi will be in too. Shunsui is not gonna be DLC, they these fights have to be in story mode, he fights Stark. There is no way Kira is in the base game and Shunsui and Kamamura are not.
See like the fact we haven't seen the top 3 espada yet got me worried they gon be dlc but we'll see
@CodedProphecy There are still gonna be more trailers to come, top 3 Espada gotta be in the game along with Nnoitora, Nel getting in without Nnoitora would be odd. Telling the Arrancar arc in story mode without top 3 Espada is also odd. I see characters like Espada 10-7 being DLC, or characters like Yumichika.
