After hours searching and following instructions from other videos from other TH-cam channels, my camera problem hadn’t been fixed until this video with the additional last step by going to the manufacturer’s support website. The troubleshooting from the support website shows that my laptop is experiencing “a HP Secure Boot error after installing a cumulative Microsoft Security Update” so I have followed their recovery steps to get recovering from the Secure Boot Error then install the latest BIOS. My camera is finally working now. Thank you so much!

Trying to figure out what was wrong with my video I wasted hours following instructions like these. It turned out to be so simple and none of the Geek wizzards mentioned to look for it. My Leveno lap top has a function that turns the video on and off and it must have been in the off position.

There is what appears to be a Dell-specific camera issue (Camera App error code 0xA00F4244) that can't be fixed with this unluckily. Interestingly, while Window Hello works, the camera doesn't even appear when looking at the hardware in the troubleshooting window.
