I like Bob Dylan and am now a Japanese who is playing music while playing traditional Japanese instruments. Recently, I thought it was a good song to know this song on the radio, so I searched and watched the performance videos of various people, but I really liked your performance. Thank you for your wonderful performance ♪
This… is true! :) but the Mysterious Bozouki Society forced us to make some changes in the final mix! But… lets make everybody happy - we can make a new remix of the song especially for you! What do you think?
Sorry, but Wild Mountain Thyme is not a Scottish song, it was composed by Belfast musician Francis McPeake in the late 1950's, and when I last looked Belfast was still in Northern Ireland. Beautiful song.
Ime Irish to ,but who really gives a fk if it’s Scotch or Irish ... this outfit plays it well here thas all tha matters ,weir only aloca mile apart anyway
McPeake just altered a few words - The Braes of Balquhidder well preceded McPeake !! and when I last looked, Balquhidder was still in Bonnie Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Francis McPeake(an Ulster man). Updated a Scottish ballad, the braes of Balquiddar. Which predates by more than a century. It was on the B side of part of the union by the Strawbs, in the early 70s (where I first found it). I think they were from Devon? Kate Rusby covered it, she is a Yorkshire lass. Rod Stewart is from, not Scotland. This tune belongs to the world.
The melodic chords in the song “The Wild Mountain Thyme” are so nice to hear!
Beautiful. But it seemed like the music was leading the vocals. Great vocals. Awesome music skills. ♡♡♡
