+MrBen527 ..... Just teasing you Ben because the first F-35 didn't actually roll off the production till 2008. The aircraft you saw was one of the hand built prototypes X-35's.

The FIRST aircraft or "X" plane is the most significant step of the whole process. It deserves every ounce of credit that is available.
+MrBen527 I've been out to Rosemead a few times and saw the F-35 doing maneuvers. Have family out that way too. I was actually impressed with what I saw.
It took a while to make this plane one of the most successful planes ever

Surely they'll figure out how to kill stealth jets
