Update: I watched all three videos on factoring polynomials and this one on general strategies. Had a big factoring test and rocked it! Not only aced it, but nailed the bonus question as well, and scored a 106%. I've never scored that high on a math test. Mr. Whittington is the real deal! That, my friends, is the reason I am a permanent subscriber.
This comment re-appeared in my feed and I just wanted to let everyone know, if there's any wondering if it is legit, it 100% is. I was a regular student needing help with algebra and FBT showed me the way with the best teaching method I have ever experienced. If you need help, use their videos. It's that simple. Good luck!
Thanks for all your videos Mr.Whitt! ive learned so much about algebra because of your videos. you're a better teacher than all my math teachers. You are the only solution to my math problems thank you so much! keep those arrow poppin!
Mr. Whitt, The end of that video has to be the funniest, including your intros! Keep it up...you are SUCH an amazing teacher, and we are so thankful we found you. You have a God-given gift, Sir. P.S. Is Shirley's character modeled after "The Ladie's Man"? ;-) Sometimes I wonder if you really have Tim Meadows doing cameos for you!
Hello Tiffany! I'm happy you're enjoying the videos! Shirley Q. Liquor is solely Chuck Knipp's creation. I'm not sure who inspired him when he created her, but we're honored to have him do intros and outros for our videos! Thanks so much for the great feedback!
I am really not sure what I would do without you this semester! I am so grateful for your videos. I wish I could pause my professor so that I could grasp what she's trying to teach.. LOL.. ;-)
@21:13 you got the "plus" the product of x-5 which I would have thought would give you a minus sign/negative not a "+5x" since you are multiplying a positive with a negative. What am I missing here?
I see you point, however, I'm meaning to multiply 5 and x regardless of sign to get 5x. The reason I'm ignoring the signs is because the signs are already determined by the factoring pattern for a difference of cubes which I referred to and included in the video.
Many thanks as always Mr Whitt...keepin it POPPIN! Do you have a tutorial on matrices and any covering trigonometric functions and identities, right-triangle trigonometry, and graphs of trigonometric functions? I am cramming for a college assessment exam.
i have a question, for problem number 5, why didn't we divide 4 (the first term) with 6 and 5? since it was a quadratic trinomial, aren't we supposed to do that part?
Huge factoring test tomorrow, and this helped big time! #10 is awfully tricky and can creep some doubts in my head though. Do you have any videos that that show more like it? Really wanna crush those types. Everything else, however, feeling really good about!!! Thanks Mr. Whitington!!! ~Your Permanent Sub

Way 2 go Tim! Remember, YOU rocked that math test! Awesome job!

Thanks 4 the continued support and the update Tim! Good luck on your journey my friend! 👨🏾🏫😀
Excellent presentation; thank you for sharing.
The adding-the-digits thing has never been mentioned in any of my classes. What an easy way to see if something is divisible!

Thank you so much for posting these videos. They really help me with my homework!
Happy 2 help Catharine! Thanks 4 watching!

You make me love math soooooo much more!! Thanks!
That's our goal! :-)

Lol That's funny! That's the same thing my students say even with this channel! Lol
If it weren't for you, I would have already failed! You're a blessing to me. More than you can even imagine.
I love math thank you Mr. whitt

Our trigonometry videos are found here: th-cam.com/play/PLA97277E736FFDB97.html
We haven't uploaded any videos on matrices yet.
Excellent, thanks!
Our pleasure!
I told my teacher "catch me at Fort Bend Tuoring ,HOW ABOUT THAT" 6:00
lmao! 2 funny!
Love your videos Larry. I still don't really get why we factor sometimes, it looks like we end up with a much longer answer in some cases.
thanks mr. whitt .keepin it POPPIN!.. you help me so much in my teaching career.. :)

+June Amber Ramonel That's amazing June! Good luck 2 you!
7:30 Oh! I thought that you want to put the factor containing a sum first before the difference. What happened to that?
i have a question, for problem number 5, why didn't we divide 4 (the first term) with 6 and 5? since it was a quadratic trinomial, aren't we supposed to do that part?
+Sophie Gela We don’t divide by 4 in this case because 4 is a part of the GCF (Greatest Common Factor).
thank you!
My pleasure Jezza! 👨🏾🏫😁
So good!!! I feel like I'm in the video game because of the quality of your voice. Thank you so much!

Not exactly, but if you haven't checked out "Factoring Using Substitution" it has challenging problems. th-cam.com/video/WRhMo_Stnwg/w-d-xo.html
Wow that was cool
There is no clickable link between the factoring by grouping when it appears.
Sorry about that! Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/AezZPfMWVjE/w-d-xo.html
Devin Whitaker Added the link to the video! Thanks for keeping me honest!
