- First video footage of the Satara Lion Pride with Cubs and ALL FOUR of the Shishangaan Brothers together.
At long last! The Satara Lion Pride with the three healthy Lion Cubs joined by the Four Shish Brothers: Casper the White Lion, Casanova, Mfowethu and footloose!
After an expedition to the Sweni Pride territory the four brothers returned safely to the Satara area and joined their original Pride and cubs.
Filmed on the H6 South of Satara Rest-camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

Beautiful landscape, and nothing but the sounds of nature in the background. Wonderful seeing the coalition and the pride reunited. Hopefully, the brothers stay awhile, and get in some good hunting. It's good to see the cubs being playful with the males. And loved watching the pride walk off, disappearing into the high grass.

Dayem these Lions look so beautiful, peaceful, so precious to our earth. Wow the King of Beast just fits them. I was just thinking of the other side, of how many thousands of killings this pride committed just to be such a family, the viciousness of them, the killer in them, the fear they instill on the rest of the animal kingdom, and even the beautiful innocent cubs. I just love having them on this earth, such beautiful creatures.

I’m sooo happy Casper’s back with the pride! I hope they’re staying away from the Sweni pride’s territory tho. Great video like always. I love all the lions but I especially love our sweet boy Casper. This is where all animals belong: in their own beautiful natural environment, not locked up in cages. This pride looks so carefree & happy.

He still has a slight limp, I wonder what damage was done!! What is the name of the beautiful sounding bird close by? Is that another Pride roaring in the distance? It was a Staling bird and it was probably Zorro the sub adult roaring in the distance?
He was out mating for a while, good to see our Casper back with the pride 💪❤️👊

Such a relief, so tough to see him injured & alone. He's had a hard life, many battles, I wonder if tgars why not so many cubs. For a coalition, maybe competitiveness got in the way? 🥰🤗☘️
All of the battles he's had have been at the hand of his own brothers. Not much adversity from other lions. But that's what happens when your the low lion in your coalition. But they're seems to be some peace for now
@@nicholasfoley7105 I suspected it, didnt look like one of the Lionesses welcolmeed attention from a brother today either. Think it was Casanova, he got a smack.on the face! But only 3 cubs? Maybe the brothers squabbling, puts the ladies off.

Is there always lack of the extremely important male bonding with Casper and brothers ? Don’t see that stroll by and rub into and thank god the male on male doing what a female and male do 😂! Seen it on three videos ! Nothing different except there’s no F grin , Or at the conclusion that irritable growl and snap at each other , Who is the leader and I know many lions go between coalitions and play the field and have a more of a home base with one pride , And nightly patrols being alone is not a wise choice in Kruger of late with nomads and other groups of brothers and occasionally a lone male joins up with a group , I learned that let’s say liter of cubs could have multiple fathers in that single liter ? Casper’s chances alone bff Ed ing white not albino as that’s not the condition , But being white would hinder his ability to hunt ambush except a bit better at night with the herbivores whose vision is not that great , Are lions aware of the winds direction as that’s a giveaway through the great senses being utilized out there ? Casper has had some cubs he fathered ? If so is he grouchy or a lovey father who lets the lionesses and cubs eat first ? ( been known) Four in this coalition of males ? So what makes did these boys oust to become new kings of this pride or others their affiliated with ? Like names and how many , I know Casper’s been hurt before , You guys aren’t near Alistair are you ? And his partners lodge off red road ? Kevin
