You ever hear some music and immediately think "I am a changed person after listening to this," because that's what the entirety of Shipwreck feels like to me. 700 Days most of all, it gives me chills every time I listen to it. The haunting vocals in the background, especially the bass, the way the music cuts for just a moment to make lines more impactful, the emotion you can hear in every verse. "I think I know now what you meant when you said I'm hurting" hits like a train. One of the most beautiful songs I've heard in at least the last decade. I'd be so interested to see a breakdown of the lyrics.
