I remember this game feeling truly next-gen when it first came out. Sure it hasn't aged well, and falls behind alot of other Dreamcast/PS2/GC/Xbox games in hindsight, but I still have vivid memories of this game just radiating the feeling that the Dreamcast was the definitive doomsday device against the PS1 and N64. But the intro, in particular, HAS aged well. The kickass music style and 3D+2D hybrid opening cinematic feels more like a hype E3 2006 trailer for a late-era GameCube game than an intro to an early Dreamcast game from 2000. It also feels more hype than any Bomberman game that came after. I want more of this kind of edge in Bomberman, but Super Bomberman R (Nintendo Switch, 2017) is sending the series in a horribly lighthearted, bubbly direction...
I haven't played Bomberman Online so I can't say if it's aged well or not, definitely plan to get to it one day, but I also wouldn't say Super Bomberman R is sending the series in a bad new direction, I think it's a very thoughtful reboot of the previous Bomberman universe that was very confusing to understand, I think they aimed to make things more consistent, and hopefully they stick with that mindset if we get future titles. The game is comedic and lighthearted, but things start to actually take a different direction around the last 3 worlds of the game, Bagura(Buggler) is never played for laughs, and seems to be even more sinister than he was in the older games, White and Plasma Bomber clash over opposing sides on Robot Ethics, Karaoke Bomber is revealed to be a brainwashed Pretty Bomber, who in this reboot is Bomberman's actual oldest sister, discovering this fact makes Pink actually get subtle development as a character, At first she's kind of just there because she has to be there, She's competent just disinterested, however when she finds out about her sister, she finds new motivation to save the universe and bring an end to buggler, highlighted by her open concern for her sister in the last few cutscenes. this and a few other things play a part in why she's my favorite Bomber just behind White. The characters in R have just enough going for them that they could be made really enjoyable if expanded upon, I love what they did with them though, there's lots of loving nods to previous Bomberman lore within the story and characterizations, Blue being obsessed with sleep stems from the intro of Super Bomberman 4, where he sleeps through a Black hole, White is pretty much who he's always been, just given some expansion, His dedication to Hard work and training to be the strongest hero in the universe isn't random, it's taken from stuff like this game, Saturn Bomberman, and more where's he's often seen training before adventure. Karaoke/Pretty Bomber is very well handled in this game, it's a great way to explain the character's constant appearances as both heroine and villain over the years and tie things up. I honestly hope we get more Bomberman games that adapt elements and characters from games beyond Super Bomberman 2 and 3, but continue working in R's continuity, love to see what they'd do with the Bomberman 64 villains.
The clothing style isn't specifically belonging to Goku (I believe it was a common Martial Art attire). But since everybody I know has seen DBZ, that is the most recognizable outing for it.

There's 3 that I know of. Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden (1998), Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden Victory (1999) and Bomberman Jetterz (2002). Personally, I'd go with Jetterz since it is pretty comical, until it takes itself seriously.

@choasshadowsvenom megaman was made after bomberman was so it cant be, besides, just because of the futuristic look in certian parts of the video doesnt mean that the series is a ripoff of megaman, your free to express your opinion though
