As a huge one piece fan and new funko pop collector I decided to target all the aftermarket pops...using a combination of whatnot, mecari, and eBay I managed to get them all. Currently, I'm only missing the new armor wano versions (which I don't particularly care for). Some I got great deals on (Nami, Usopp, and Luffy) while others I paid quite a bit more. Franky reprint at $100 and the Fall 2018 Convention Brook (shared Sticker) @ $450 were hard to swallow though. Overall, I'm pleased looking at my wall of one piece though my depleted wallet will say otherwise! Fortunately I had the funds to do this without having to rely on the preorders that might not come. If I could go back in time I would have done a combination of preordering/paying aftermarket increase depending on the price I could get it for.
My only experience with Ozzie Collectibles : I placed an order, they canceled half of it with no further explanation, no refund regarding the shipping fees, and one month later what I receive is a small Popcultcha box. They are / were a complete joke.

I think the most smart decision would be is only pre order the ones you like desperately need or which are the most expensive ones of the set, we don't have other versions of the original design of the characters yet, for example sanji, we have him with his mask on and a whole different suit and we also have the main design. For some pops we don't even have remakes (franky and robin and usopp), i would reccomend buying 3 of the ones you desperately need or are the most expensive.
It makes sense for luffy since he's at least glossy. You can literally just print the JL170310 sticker lmao. The dates aren't even imprinted on the box meaning anyone can make their new release the old release lol
my ace was shipped out a couple days ago just waiting on it now. i also have luffy and frankie on pre-order but my question is will they be charging the $11 shipping on each piece that ships out? my original order for all 3 pieces totaled $50 with tax and shipping but now that ace shipped out i was charged $23 just for that one.
And that's insane is that I got the entire crew only about a year ago for retail. The only character I had to pay a little more for was Zoro at 30 bucks. It's insane to see how much everything has skyrocketed

An independent retailer over here in the U.K. called Double Boxed Toys put all of them up last summer as per-orders to release between Oct-Dec 22 but obviously didn’t happen. Still waiting with no news, hopefully something by the summer at least 😅
To add to this, I know Kraken's isn't reliable anymore but they also put Zoro up for preorder last year for a Jan-Feb 23 release. Now every time I message them about my order, they just keep telling me it's been delayed to the next month. Haven't messaged them this month yet but I'm probably going to get the same reply again. @@SkittleRampage totally agree. It’s not even worth worrying about anymore but it does kind of hurt collector confidence. I get OG pops will usually hold pretty strong value but if you had a re-release zoro you get hit pretty hard on the value since you bought it thinking it was vaulted. Love the vids! Always good points.
After seeing the news about Ace finally shipping, I went ahead and placed a preorder after putting it off. It took some time, but it did finally start processing and has now shipped. Since I ordered one from Aliexpress a while back before knowing fakes existed, I'm very excited to finally have an authentic Ace 😅 QotD: Aurora from the Ultimate Princess line. Still one of my favorite Disney Pops.
The only one I would pay resell right now for is Sanji I’m meeting his voice actor at the end of June for Floridacon but his pre order is est for sept so for that reason is the only reason I’ll pay resell for it. But the others I’ll wait it out tbh.

Its because they are told by funko that they should be getting them, so they expect to recieve them but they aren't told either on when.
I got the Usopp and Nami at 5 below and they both over 20 dollars now
