I've never had luck with the beacons, but the fence works OK as long as its not too small.

Have you experienced the halo 3 crash where the collar goes offline and drops all communication with wifi, cellular, gps, & Bluetooth? All geofences boundaries and beacons are non reactive as well. There’s also zero notifications of it happening when it does either.
2 months with the Halo 3 collar (2 different collars as I had it replaced once) and I’ve experienced it countless times leaving our dog outside with a useless collar on his neck.
Halo 3 collar only provides you a FALSE sense of security for the doggos.

I forgot to add that once it drops the only way to re-active it is to plug it in and hold the power button for over 1 min.
Not exactly helpful when no one’s home.
