You can copy zapdos attack, electrode attack, maybe even zapstrika etc. being 130 hp and have a 20 dmg attack with 1 retreat is good enough in this matchup
I think Blue is a little too weak for a supporter in my opinion. It should be 20 damage prevented. I’m glad it prevents it to all your pokemon and not just your active, because then a Sabrina would invalidate your one supporter of your turn.
Since I got almost every card I wanted from genetic apex (around 5 ish left), I've been saving up my hourglasses for the new set. Gonna hit it running.
Exciting stuff! The biggest thing I've wanted to see out of future expansions is better energy fixing for two-type decks, and Exeggcute looks like the type of card that will enable that. Vaporeon looks amazing in an aggressive Starmie EX deck: Beat the opponent down, retreat for free when you get low, and move your energy onto a new attacker without giving up points.
Do you need to have the grass energy selected for these abilities to work? These abilities say take an energy from the energy zone, but if there isn't one of that type there, will it still work?
Only problem is you have to attack b4 you evolve leaving it vulnerable and then you have to have the boy in hand read to evolve otherwise it's just sitting there. Fun but a bit sacky

The funny thing on Aerodactyl ex was the ability doesn't matter on Basic ex pokemon. Btw so many deck variations will be available sooner. I hope they extend the max cards from 20 to 30 per deck to promote diverse playstyle since as of now we can already predict our opponent's play just by knowing what energy and cards it has.
yeah I agree. Arbok-weezing is my favourite deck and the problem is the lack of burst against big boys like charizard and venusaur. Well now mew can just steal their big boys and cover the weakness of the deck.

They'll let you decide which pack you wanna open. Giving you another free pack open would be counterproductive to a f2p game. Don't get your hopes up, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment
Blue should have been -20 since you are not proacrive having the same number as giovanni is not good. Sure everything has a niche, but 20 would have been fair, like potion is 20. Defensive cards need bigger numbers than offensive ones to be generally viable.

You could pair Mew with every Pokémon that isn't energy hungry and you have a good answer to every deck with a big damage dealer Exeggutor EX + Mew for example
Vaporeon will be a nice add to Dragonite decks that run eevee lines. Could "maybe" help Blastoise ex or bring gyarados into relevancy but I doubt it. Marshadow/Tauros + Gio will help curb pikachu dominance. That Aerodactyl is going to change the game though.
Vaporeon does nothing for Dragonite though. It can't give it energy. And honestly, Aerodactyl is bait, since it only works in the active slot and most decks aren't exactly trying to evolve in the active slot anyways.
If you use Charizard's or Mewtwo's big attacks with Mew EX, does it discard the respective energy type if you have that type attached? Seems like thats how it should work, and if that is the case, then Mew will be much worse in Fire or Psychic decks than in other types.

@Yabai-Wa-Yo Mewtwo, Charizard, and Ninetails all specify the type of energy you have to discard in their attack text. That's what this is talking about, since you don't have to use psychic or fire energy to trigger Mew's attack, there would be no discard.
I am unsure about Pokemon TCG rules but with Blues -10 damage since it is worded from Pokemon and not attacks does that work to negate Articuno damage from Blizzard/Greninja.

Mew seems like a Ditto Upgrade, Aerodactyl abilty is very broken, i can see people speedrun evolve this and a few turns later you won because the opponent cant evolve their pokemon
Aerodactyl has an unforgettable issue: the amber is not a basic pokemon, you can't find it on the starting hand or with pokeball. This makes the evolution slower than the opposing one.
@@EpicDio it has its setback, imagine playing playing against mewtwo, it goes first, mewtwo as active and old amber as bench. On the 2nd turn, it evolves into Aerodactyl. and your basic will struggle against it. Provided its staring hand already has Old Amber and Mewtwo

I'm not familiar with the paper tcg so I'm not sure how Mew copying Charizard is supposed to work. Is the discarding 2 fire energy in terms of other tcgs: 1. A cost: you can't pay the cost so you can't use the attack. Or 2. An effect: well too bad I don't have any fire energy so that doesn't apply to me
2nd. In Pokémon, if the effect is a requirement for damage it will say it. Example - “Discard 2 Fire energy from this Pokemon. If you cannot, this attack does nothing” Pokémon cards will always say EXACTLY what they do or need to work.
They revealed 10% of the cards, no worries. But remember: dragonite is the only dragon tipe of first gen, so the only way to have an other dragon is a dragonite ex.
The 130hp and one energy retreat makes it the best tank of the game, it was zapdos before, but this one has a useful second attack so it's even better.
Mew ex wouldn’t be great against pikachu cause you probably don’t have lightning Pokémon on the bench and depending on the energy water decks can be a problem too (blastoise and Lapras normal)

If any of those limitations were supposed to be there, the card would say it. It’s very simple, mew says to copy an attack. It ignores energy requirements. Any additional effects from that attack then apply. If charizard says “discard 2 fire energy” and you have no fire energy, you don’t discard anything

The new trainer card with the girl will help you retreat ya boy. 3. The new trainer card Blue will match perfectly against mewtwo ex. I run exeggutor and that was a huge problem psydrive with gio. That being said you can guarantee ya boy to hang on with 10hp.

That Exeggcute is really overlooked card. It basically means u can run Exeggutor with any other deck.

It might be okayish for getting your active to survive long enough to evolve or attack if you don't use a wall in some games.
Dhelmise biggest asset is being a 100 hp 1 prize basic with access to erika, making it a great replacement for KGKhans

Yes. I’ll do up to 40 if it hits 4 for 50 each. But that’s pretty unusual. But it will always do -40 against articuno if your bench is full.
