@@MeadowsatNight I think it absolutely will be. So many decks get that little bit worse because Pokemon are now out of their damage range. Mewtwo with cape is going to be a nightmare as well 😭
Had a stroke in the middle of last sentence (jk). Btw that's interesting. Requiring 2 benched mon at the moment you attack with this is certainly a limit, but at the same time it doesn't have to be a Water Type at least.
About Gallade EX don't forget about Lucario's ability. I can see Hitmonlee poking things down, buying some time so you can setup the Gallade and maybe a Lucario, then you start shredding energy hungry decks. And even if they try to hide a big setup attacker you can just gust it up with Cyrus if you managed to get some damage on it with the Lee.
Garchomp decks might lack some space… the best partner for this mon would kinda be Greninja, so you can reach 170 damage in a turn or get a 20-Cyrus-100. But essentially puts you at 9 cards minimum, and you would also kinda want something that can absorb damage or at least play if you don’t get the energy type you need. I’m thinking GA Aerodactyl but that’s just so cheese, or maybe just Druddigon cause that mon makes no sense especially with tools. Hitmonlee would be alright but his 30 damage takes away your attack and an energy. Marshadow would be good too of course. But like, you’re always going to run double Oak, double poke ball, double Cynthia, 2-2-2 Chomp, and now you need to choose 8 cards among things like : Hitmonlee, Marshadow, Primeape, Greninja, potentially Manaphy, Sabrina or Cyrus, Cape, Helmet, Druddigon, Leaf, X Speed, hell even Kangaskhan or Island Tauros. Bidoof maybe too. That’s a lot of possibilities, and even if you run one Cynthia you still have a lot of stuff to explore. The main problem that Chomp will have is always the early game though
