      The 5950 is a very nice CPU. My 10900k is still rocking hard but you are averaging 7-8 more fps in Cyberpunk with your CPU. Nice! I like that you are benchmarking with very high quality settings at 1440p and 4k resolutions. That's what many of us want to see.

      offer here $1470 for 3080 TI, is good one?

    • @GamersGuard
      @GamersGuard 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I could get 3080 TI for $1450 but the vendor just told me its gone, now he offers me:
      3070 for $950
      3060 TI for $770
      3080 for $1350
      I thought take 3080 TI to skip few gens ahead, but if I cant get 3080 TI for this price, then I rather take mid-range and possibly upgrade in next gen or gen after next.
      Thoughts on what should I do?
      P.S. I did a mistake, 2 weeks ago got 6700 XT for $1000 (money i reserved for major upgrade), realized this card isnt for me as it doesnt do well in RT, i sold it for $800 few days after got it... so I really need make the right choice and not lose money again.
      Help me with your opinion,
      thanks!

    Thank you for your hard work! In Russia, these video cards cost a lot of money and we still need to look for them. But judging by the tests, you should not take the RTX3090, since in modern games the usual RTX3080 is enough, but the RTX3080Ti surprised me. At base, you are paying $500 dollars more for a 3080 Ti from 3080. $500 dollars for barely more than 10 FPS on some games and less than 5 FPS more on some other games. You are looking at an average of a handful FPS for $500 dollars. $500 dollars is another GPU (3060/3070) for a second GPU set up along side a 3080. @Roas Metten I leave RivaTuner Statistics OSD on at all times.
      I own several GPUs and PC's all with varying VRAM amounts. My RTX 3080 uses all 10GBs of VRAM at 1080p, 1440p and 2160p. Same goes for my GTX 1080 Ti. My RTX 2070 Super also used all 8GBs yet performed better than the 1080 Ti, even without DLSS on. My wife's RTX 3070 also uses all 8GBs. Remember all at different resolutions. All without performance drops. To me that sounds like allocation and not actual usage as there should be some sort of hiccup or performance loss to some extent. Especially at 2160p where the VRAM actually plays a role.
      I am not saying with definitive proof that it is allocation. I am saying it seems like the most logical reason why some games shows that it is maxing your VRAM on a OSD. If you can answer with a more logical reason, through actual benchmarking and personal trial and error then please enlighten me. But don't say I never use MSI Afterburner based off my response on my thought on the situation.

    the people recommending 3090 are cooked, if you want to waste money 3090 is a great purchase but it's not actually a gaming card.
    It's main purpose is 3d rendering in real time (like game development). There will be zero games in the next 5 years that needs 24gb VRAM (which is the only real difference between the cards) and in 5 years any new gen will destroy the 3090 even if it only has 12gb VRAM.
    Don't buy a 3090 for gaming the only people recommending it only does so to try and convince themselves it wasn't a complete waste of money.

    Basically, you don’t need anymore than a standard 3080. Because the ti and 3090 are only marginally higher FPS, for a stupid amount more money.

      15 fps higher is not marginal. Nor is 10. Every fps matters if you play on 4k.

    • @ESKATEUK
      @ESKATEUK 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@shadowheart5623 Firstly in most games it’s not as much as 15fps, and secondly when you’re getting 100/120+ FPS at ultra 4k, you really don’t need that extra 10 FPS. May as well wait for the 40 series if you want a meaningful jump. The 3080 released at $699, and the 3080ti released at $1199… absolutely no way is it worth $500 for 10/15fps.

    Having gone with the EVGA 3080 FTW3 12gb, and running it for a few months, I've been super high on it's performance. Got in May before the great crypto crash of 2022, so while I paid a bit more than I would've liked, running it with an i7-10700k, for 1080/1440 FPS gaming, it's literally perfect. Only problem I have now is just running out of justifiable upgrades at this point on the setup. Thanks for putting this together!

    people here keep forgetting that a 3090 is basically a Titan tier card. with the amount a vram and Tflops it has it can serve 11 years and more while still packing a punch, while its targeted use case is for complex rendering. same goes for 3080 ti.
    and yeah, the price on those two beasts are shit, but for guaranteed long term serviceability i personally wouldn't mind paying the MSRP price for one of those cards.
