So if you have unconfessed sin in your life, weak faith, and the wrong motive then God will not hear your prayer and what you are asking for. If you are not good enough to pray for yourself, then have someone who is good enough to pray for you. Pick someone who you believe is righteous and filled with faith. Chances are God will more likely hear their prayer on your behalf than you asking for help from God for yourself. Even the disciples could not do many thing that Jesus could do because they were lacking in some way. And they were right in the midst of the Lord.

But doesn't God listen to every prayer ever done?
I don't understand, God knows everything, he listen to our prayers but only answer the few who are worthy but didn't everyone sinned and now need God's grace?
I don’t know if that is right. God is ready to hear when we come near him and confess our sins.
God hears all our prayers. And it’s up to us if God will accept our prayers or not. We have to know, confidently by faith, that God hears us. We have been given ‘the measure’ of faith when we are ‘born again’, We then ‘add’ to our faith. We meet together in our churches and confess our ‘sins’ to one another. God has already forgiven us our sin, therefore we need only to ‘thank God’ for forgiving us our sins and go on and not do sinful things again, though in this we struggle at times. We may on the other hand ask our brothers in Christ to ‘forgive us’ if we sin against them however. If you sin against somebody you say that ‘you’re sorry’ and ask them to please forgive you, eg.(I’m sorry will you please forgive me). Again, when you were ‘saved’ God has forgiven you all your sins, He also said that will remember your sin no more. By faith you thank God in Jesus name for forgiving you your sins, and if you’ve done anything sinful you don’t do it again. As a Christian you don’t want to sin, and as humans we still make decisions and choices that aren’t always good, but we strive to not do whatever these sins are again. 🙏🏼
ALWAYS begin prayers with confession of sins. ALL sins. You can name the ones you remember, and also ask for forgiveness for any sins you might have forgotten or might have committed unconsciously.

God is love. We all profess to know God but we don't. We all experience God differently and therefore in my opinion I think that it is arrogant to assume that someone else is praying wrong. The bible teaches that we should approach God with an honest and believing heart.
Feel the same..yet committing to God, the Lord who's holy and who's understanding has no limits, he said " it is finished.", for our sakes, coming to suffer, it's no big thing to check if we need to repent of anything and if so repent, believing, being grateful for his forgiveness, and forgiving one another and doing what he says - obeying his word, showing we love him praise the Lord !
Honesty and believing heart... I think that's what the video is talking about. And if somebody is praying for something without those two elements, I think it is safe to day the person is praying wrongly. That's my thoughts anyway 😊

We are very quick to approach God in prayer wanting, but are we as quick to come to God and continually sing his praises, acknowledge his presence in our lives give him thanks in our prayers for his strength and his comfort. . But we are all sinners and God knows we are this way , we need to be stronger in taking heed of the words in the Bible which strengthen us in the face of our enemies every day, the enemies of disease and anger and fear and hate and put on God as our armour. When you do those things and God watches you approach him with prayers in difficult times he will help you out . Give prayer of thanks constantly , ask the holy spirit to be with you, to be within you, to guide your words and actions , it's when you turn away from God troubles come through the door of your life , it's your sin filled decisions you have made that cause you to leave him, and yet he will never leave you. May the sovereign Lord the Holy Spirit with Jesus Christ our saviour strengthen us all , for the evils of man condemn this world till we return to the Lord's presence.

I will also cause deceitful people to be destroyed in an instant as a result of My wonderful works. Well hear this....i have no income for years which means that i cannot pay my rent or take care of myself..i pray almost every day asking God to provide finances...but with no answer. I repent all the time even though im not aware of any sin...yet still God is silent...so you are not talking to everyone...
1. When we pray, we need *true confession of our sins*, both known and Unknown ones as thought in the Lord's Prayer and then we need to have faith in God to deliver whatever we pray for, also acknowledging that HIS Will be done. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
2. We need to visit our hearts for our true motives behind our prayer requests. God looks into the heart and not just the words that come from our mouth and that's where the danger is.
"When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” (James 4:3).

Faith is not based on feelings. Jesus combined forgiveness and prayer in one event because sin will impede your prayer life. Since He is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins, we have something to be thankful for. We can pray with gratitude to remind us of what we been given.
The Bible is the only thing you can go to because it is the only thing that is divinely inspired of God.
When guilt comes in, go to his Word.
While we were yet sinners Christ died for us (Rom 5:8)
But we still sin. We know this because Paul struggled (Rom 7:14-25) Just because we have Jesus living inside of us doesn't make our sinful nature go away. But we now have 2 natures both new and old and they are constantly at war with each other.
But we are reminded:
Psalms 65:3 Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.
If you are serious about wanting to be free of guilt and shame, Lamentation 3:17-23 is a suggested reading. It has pulled me through many dishonorable times. Read it. It's gooood!

EVERY RELIGION ever created has formed its own tenets of prayer. Christianity is no different. For example, the first Protestants knelt in prayer with closed eyes while the later Puritans wanted to stand with eyes open. The point is, aside from "The Lord's Prayer" that Christ gave us, there is NO RIGHT OR WRONG IN HOW TO PRAY. All that matters is what's truly in one's heart. This so-called "truth" that is being presented in this video is nothing more than legalistic ideology with NO basis in scripture...only someone's own made-up belief! Christ warns us to..."Beware of false prophets and teachings."
Only If you took time to listen to the words in the video carefully, you would have discovered that this teacher is saying the same thing you are..i.e. asking for forgiveness of sins and checking our hearts for motives before asking God for anything.. which is basically what Jesus thought in the Lords prayer.
And yet here you are tagging the teacher as a false prophet. Read the Bible quotations that pops up in the video before you judge. All the best.
