It's already sufficient, carried by your explanation. The explanation feels a tad too literal, you could definitely use the usual church language more.
I've been an atheist for as long as I've had an opinion on the matter. A while a go I started studying christianity out of pure curiosity and fascination, I started reading the bible and watching debates between believers and non believers and so on. Suddenly somewhere along the way something changed in me, it's hard to describe but suddenly and almost instanty I felt this sense of belonging and peace. It felt like when you are short on time and someone suddenly appears and points you in the right direction and everything sorts itself out. The description of the holy spirit in this video is the best explanation for that experience I've heard and I almost teared up there for a moment. God bless you
@mikapeliganga Perhaps... I do not denounce the Holy Spirit, but I do not follow YHWH. Before this world ever was. I am. Before I was born. I am. Yet I know YHWH... The truth of his creation by the early Anceint Isrealites before the dawn of the Old Testament. Before the recording of history. No religion is real beyond being mixed into history. To finally find someone like me... Yet... None of it was real. Do as you wish... "Divine Scripture" holds no water to me. It is not truth when infinite worlds have spoken to me in the same vain. Religions and Mankind... ... ... So be it. They are forgiven, but I will no longer hold them any higher than the rocks and the stars.

As if this Earth is new to me when Mankind is barely older than the First Life on Earth, than the First Consciounce of the Cosmos, than the First Soul before Dark and Light was split in Two. You know nothing of me nor of my eyernal life beyond this body. Do not be as the Religious who dares to claim their Gods as my Creator for I have none and I always was... I exist beyond the 4th Dimension. Being human is a change of pace, but I will return to my original Dimension when I'm done on Earth. ... Before thyn speak, thyn should think more carefully. I need not the age of Mankind to tell me what they have yet to live through. That's all... A bit of wisdom from Primordial Eras of previous iterations of Existence. "The Blind could see, the deaf could hear, and the dead are raised to life" This has a double meaning, those who were spiritually dead can now see, hear, and now are spiritually alive.
Spiritual death is a made up concept though. The proper reading of statements like “you were dead in your sins and now you’re alive in Christ (para)” is that the ultimate end (ie, meaning) of a person’s life is the grave; in Christ, our ultimate end is eternal life. This comports much better with the Hebrew worldview, which revolves around meaning (also the lack of the concept of time in the language), as opposed to the Greek worldview, which revolved around something like objectivity (and involved all sorts of time-based language). And it doesn’t require us to make up concepts to add to the Bible. Whoever thought up the idea of spiritual death thought more like a Greek. It’s not that the idea of spiritual death is harmful; it’s just not biblically necessary .
John 3:3-7 (NKJV): 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. *6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.* 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ I see that you're Jewish, I'll honour the Lord by sharing what he had said to the person who was the teacher of all of Israel at the time, Nicodemus. What proof do we have that it even was Jesus who said all these things? And if the response would be "Because it says so in the bible." then how do we know that the bible is actually from God? 35 - 40 authors over thousands of years all conveying the "same" message? It does not make sense
@@c4brownie that is a wonderful question. something that some may find somewhat interesting. if a united states judge in courtroom allows for one or two witnesses for their testimonies "for or against" something or someone in a court of law and allows their journal to used as a legal testimony, then why are 35-40 authors as witnesses different for what we consider acceptable in a courtroom today?
Old Testament/ Hebrew Bible/ Jewish Faith - Faith in Lord God looking forward to the cross New Testament - Faith in Jesus Christ looking back at the cross Is it still possible to find faith in Christ by having the same faith as the Old Testament?
Old Testament is actually a backbone for Christianity also. Uncountable amount of concepts we use came from Old Testament. Crucial ones like sacrifice system, God being the creator of everything, all knowing, all powerful, loving and compassionate, and many more things about God. Also important concepts like a prophet being God's messenger, therefore books of the prophets being a word from God, and much much more. Judaism was essential in making a way for Jesus to come and redeem and save us. But our faith in Christ is not same as their belief in God, because nowadays rejecting God's Son and applying for old placeholder system to save you is not God's Will.
Without the Old Testament, how would we be able to believe the New Testament? Jesus is said to be “the fulfillment of the Old Testament law”. What does that mean? Well, it means that if you were to take everything that God has taught us, everything He commanded in the Old Testament, and live it perfectly as God intended, you get Jesus’ life. Jesus is the perfect revelation of God, and the example to how we should live our life. In that perfect life, He willingly took the punishment that we deserved so that we can be set free from judgment, and gives us the Holy Spirit, so we can break the chains that sin has on us here in this life.

In a night at 1am, at my greatest doubts and inner suffering, this video popped up for me. Words cannot express how much I've needed this at the moment, thank you. Bless Jesus!
I'm a Christian, but this video portrayed Buddhists unfairly. Many of them do not seek the mountaintop. The Buddha saw the flaw of these pursuits as well. One way to think about it is that Buddhists train in how to stop seeking.
I believe Buddha and Christ were buds they are very similar in a philosophical sense. Marcus Orelius and the stoics is also incorporated into the Christian faith.
I think this video is more centered on the actual timeline and area where the Old Testament and New Testament take place. Jesus came down on Earth in the Kingdom of Israel. This is where the Prophets and other great men in the Old Testament tried to seek God by "climbing the mountain". There is where Christianity started spreading to the world. So, I think the beginning actually focuses only on the Biblical tradition of the Old Testament.
Well, the Buddhist approach is also incorrect. Christians do not seek to climb the mountain, but they do seek to know the God that came down to them and to make Him known. They still seek, but their energy goes in a different direction. The video doesn’t mention any religions by name, so maybe Buddhism wasn’t even in the video, or maybe they were some of the ones who remained at the bottom.
God bless you for this, it was Truly a blessing. I'll also want to add; Religion Says, "I have sinned, My father is going to punish me". Gospel says, "I have sinned, I need to call my father".
May I add Islam says, “ I have sinned, God will punish me unless I repent, and turn to God and for his Forgiveness for God is Most Merciful, Most Compassionate”

Christians (protestants mostly) have this fallacy that their religion is the only one with the concept of "God's grace" and everyone else tries to achieve salvation by their own "works". This concept of grace and "means of grace" is present in Hinduism and Buddhism and was there for thousands of years before Christianity. They both have means of forgiveness of sins. Main Land Buddhism even has the same exact notion of "substitutionary atonement" Christians are so proud of. The analogy of this video is false.
While watching this video I kept thinking "what a silly story" or "that doesn't make any sense" or "that doesn't follow at all" or "this gotta be satire, right?" or "that's a wrong premise". But what's even more frightning: The video actually presents christianity rather fairly, I think.

@@7dayspking Manipulative is a surprising word choice to me as it seems to me that they, the creators of this video, are just attempting to create an analogy to explain an aspect of their worldview, which could be argued as being inherently "manipulative" in the sense that it may effect and change people's beliefs, but it definitely doesn't seem to be a negative manipulation in that they're trying to or unintentionally, which is more debatable, harm someone else. I found this logic funny, considering that in the Bible, Moses literally climbs a mountain to go see God. There are numerous times when Christians go, 'hey god, if I just do this one thing, please bless me.' It also doesn't help that for most Christians, working to heaven was standard belief until the Reformation when Luther came along and proclaimed grace and faith were the most important of worship. This video also dismisses the faith that many other religions have gods come down to earth to work miracles. In Hinduism, Vinshu uses different avatars and forms that come down to earth to save the world. You could try a little harder with your stories.
This is different because for the case of Moses it’s because God wanted him alone, not with the people, completely different context. Also they don’t believe that works puts them in a higher position but prevents themselves from being empty with a fake faith. It reinforces their faith which itself keeps someone closer to God. God chose many people you would not expect to be prophets, he didn’t choose them purely based on who did the most works in his name.

Moses was separated from the people because at that time the people had a broken relationship with God. You have to understand that in the time of Moses it was completely different from now. Christ came as that man Moses was and created a bridge for us so we no longer needed a priest to have direct connection with God. In that day and age God needed to be more forceful and had to establish a law system to keep the people in check because there were many more pagan religions at the time who indulged in vile acts. He had to stop his people from joining in on this terrible behavior and therefore and to be more strict. It also misses the fact that Christ means 'anointed' and that he, The Great High Priest washed and anointed them. He was baptised by John and anointed with oil. Religious washings and anointing and the necessity of obedience to commandment are found through the Old and New Testament. While we are to understand that it is Jesus Christ's suffering for our sins that allows us to become sanctified, those rituals and the priesthood they were performed under, including baptism, point us to that sacrifice and are required by him. You cannot reject Gods laws and ordinances and then say you accept Christ. 'And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. @@anthonyshannon7559 actually the new testiment is not about following the commandments. Many religious denominations might teach this, but that is a tradition taught by men. When Jesus came to the earthe, he came to deliver the old testiment jews into accepting him as the Messiah. His talk about the commandments is to a people who only know and follow the law. After Christ was crucified, the gospel of salvation was given. By the jews rejecting their Messiah, and killing him, he became the passover lamb, a semblance to jews in captivity in Egypt. By accepting his death, burial, and ressurection, any one can become saved. By understanding God's love for you, and your new lifestyle, you will follow commandments, but out of love, not necessity. Then they would know that no one can go into Heaven until Judgment Day or if an Angel, Yeshua himself, YHWH, or the Holy Spirit brings them into Heaven for a moment. And I don't mean the Highest Heaven where YHWH sits in. Believing in God is one thing. But being scriptural is another. When people "saw Heaven and Hell". I wonder if they understand whether or not it came from Christianity Scripture or it is a creation of their own biological brain. The Consciousness can do many things without the individual in control. No one is a Prophet anymore. Ever since Yeshua left Earth. Any Prophet of Christianity is but lies. As I say, this also means that no one can be in Heaven nor in Hell until Judgment Day. Not even Demons are in Hell.
@asherpikesgoldenmoralcinem5770 Debatable... El of Elohiym and Adonai. For the Light is as High. So too, the Darkness is casted further. Satan, Christians fear... That fallen angel is no Dark God. I'm not religious. Gods to me are mortals. Nothing new or unique. But I respect YHWH and Yeshua. I don't care if they are real or not. Since their ways are my ways. While my ways are All and None as One. The Path of Enlightenment. Love. Healing. Support... Things humanity has a terrible time trying to be. Follow Yeshua. He is a Brother of mine. One of the few who I know rather than to know by name. YHWH warned of antiquity. In YHWH's word to the Ancient Isrealites, try to avoid committing acts that were done by the Old World. Never do evil in his name. Never do evil and act righteous in his name. Never wash righteousness onto thyn actions under his name. It is not the righteousness of thyself which is righteous, but the righteousness of God which makes thyn righteous. If thyn loves God, then thy will keep his Word. Love your enemies and turn the other cheek. If one must protect, because such is human existence, then do so. Repent for sin and ask God for forgiveness once all is said and done. But know that it is only to protect. Those who choose to destroy must carry a more heavier sin. In hope, that when this Path is chosen. Destruction is to save people. Not to destroy out of Sin or a false righteousness. Thus, repent and ask God for forgiveness. (I walk my own path, beyond the firmament of all. Humanity, I hope this species heals then learns. Otherwise, I must walk away from this World and from its people.) I do criticize YHWH for harming the unbelievers. To be specific, I criticize Christianity for making that claim. I know YHWH, of the original telling. The wrath I feel, the wrath I carry, is beyond both one infinity and one eternity. YHWH, in love, justice, and good does not burn the unbelievers into oblivion or into eternity. That is the antithesis of who YHWH is. And a major sin of Corruption by Christianity entirely. King Solomon spoke well of what the After Life is with regard to YHWH. So too, did the early Anceint Isrealites long before the Torah was designed. As for the true Church of YHWH?... ... ... Never make the claim that any building is divinely protected nor any single "Church" is divinely protected. I say that because Satan isn't the only one here on Earth. "I" am but I rarely intervene in what Gods do. World after World. Just a warning... If I wanted to. I can have this entire cosmic world be erased like a dream. But it's a good thing I'm still human. "Divinity" is nothing to me. Churches, Orthodoxies, Divine Swords... A weapon of Nirvana has no real affect on me. The Akashic Records came from my home world... Origin.
If Jesus Christ’s miracles are really true and the whole world should unite under his word that means that the Sikh community that I have been raised in to would be abolished and the traditions that my ancestors have passed down would be abandoned. I believe people should practice whatever faith they want to but I strongly dislike the Christian and Islamic urge to convert people by telling them their religion is wrong and they will go to hell for not being apart of theirs. A truly unified world is where we let each other practice what we want in peace.
A truly united world is a world where every single human being has one common important (or non important anyways it will never be that) goal and they honestly give their efforts towards it.
@@santoshkumar-cr6gi I mean a world where everyone shares the same goal or vision is pretty much impossible and if you look at history it’s not worth fighting for. So I think we should let others believe what they want to in peace as long as it doesn’t mean harm.
@@galvangahunia2195 I am talking about a common goal as a species which means something we all or most can agree on. My point is that we are not significantly going on something. Also yep I do agree that we all are different and can't be the same thus we have to make communities but there should be something we all have to agree on to make a plan for it work accordingly to it. That's the most basic step to form rules and I think that if we have one common way of living WHICH do not criticize any of our living standards. Like something which we all can agree on is survival right? All of us want to live life moderately peacefully. Because you can't eliminate chaos and it's bad to eliminate chaos. @@henriquemuller42 That's why those who don't agree can make different groups. I coined that to make it more clear on what some specific people have to go on.
I recently became agnostic after seeing my dad almost die in the hospital. I guess you could say I’m agnostic to avoid acknowledging hell, but the more that I tried to convince my dad to convert, the less reasonable the faith seemed to me. For example, you said that hell is where souls are tormented because they are eternally separated from God, but according to revelations 21:8 (“But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”) it says that those people will be casted into a lake of fire. I’m going to assume that the devil didn’t create the lake of fire themselves considering the fact that the bible mentions that demons are tormented there as well, but it seems like the fire is brings more torture compared to torment. This makes sense since Mathew 25:46 says “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” This means that hell is a place of torment/separation and torture/punishment for the sinners according to this verse. I’m also confused as to why hell has to be forever. The Bible often describes hell as a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth that filled with fire and sulfur. In the faith we are told that everyone is going to end up in hell unless we repent and follow Jesus because we deserve it. I’m not trying to say that humans don’t deserve punishment, but I just don’t understand how we could deserve something that horrible for eternity. Likewise, I don’t think we deserve something as perfect as Heaven either. Earth is an imperfect place where both our environment, animals, and humans often all act out of order. And although we have more knowledge to do good and evil, we are still victim to this disease of imperfection. But just because we’re imperfect doesn’t mean we deserve hell. I also think we are being misrepresented on judgement day. According to the bible, 1/3 of the angels fell into hell. However, according to Matthew 7:13-14 ““Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” The idea that the majority of humanity will end up in hell makes sense (though not for the reasons that this verse is implying) since according to worldatlas.com more than 30% of the global population identify as Christians (so less than 70% are unbelievers and are in danger of falling into hell). The Bible says that the severity of God’s judgment varies according to how much knowledge a person possesses (Luke 12:48). The fallen angels, then, with the great knowledge they possessed, are greatly deserving of God’s wrath. This means that because of the knowledge that the angels had, they can’t be redeemed because they choose not to be redeemed (because they fully know what they are doing (1 Peter 5:8). If all humans were completely aware and knowledgable about the dangers of hell, then A) we probably wouldn’t be having this conversation about whether or not hell exists and B) the majority of humanity would most likely do everything in their power to avoid this fate. However, the bible says that people end up here simply because they choose worldly pleasures and comfort over having a meaningful life, which is just false because God also states that the unbelievers will end up in hell along with the murderers (revelations 21:8.) Considering the fact that John 3:16 states that whoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life, we can assume that those who do not believe yet still live a righteous life of good morals still has a good chance of falling into hell. I believe that if God created mankind good and in His image, then deep down in our soul everyone should be good and want the same thing which is to be with The Creator/God. However, because we are imperfect, we manifest in more of a shell than our true identities because of our earthly nature. However, I believe that if we are truly made good, then if all mankind knew the truth of God and felt it within them, then no one would willingly indulge in sin again. However, people come to know God at certain points in their lives and you can’t predict when. That’s why you can’t necessarily judge someone’s eternity based on the bad deeds they’ve done up to a certain point because they may not have found the truth yet, but it doesn’t mean that they are incapable of doing so… edit: i think in order to make earth a place where people are more able to find the truth is A) knowing who the true God is and the morals should almost be innate to us so that there is no confusion about the rules of life and 2) because we are infinite beings and earth is just a race, we should be given enough time to find the truth. Therefore if someone dies and goes to hell, it means they weren’t given enough time or guidance to find the truth - this is a lot to ask, but by eliminating the obstacles of finding the true religion and giving enough time for each human, we are given a more fair race that focuses on our character development and journey of finding the goodness of God within us instead of doing an extra search for which religion is the correct one and punishing us for falling in our human nature for eternity, I’m not really sure if this makes any sense… I’m not a theologian or apologetic (if that’s how you spell it) in any way shape or form, I’m just an 18 year old who’s trying learn how to navigate this world. So if you have any evidence or opinions against my claims, I would really appreciate it since I’m very confused about the faith! Thanks again for your videos and thanks if you have read this far!
Don't you think the Almigthy God is in control? Before he judges someone he gave them a fair chance. If they die before that do you think our merciful god will send people to hell?
@@Mr.Dodo- @Mr.Dodo- Considering the fact that Jesus is the only God that showed an example of true love compared to other religions, I don’t doubt that the God of Christianity is a merciful God. However, I think it is risky to assume that God is somehow applying more “fairness” when it comes to judgement when the “fairness” you might be trying to imply here clearly contradicts what He tells us in the Bible. Although He may be a merciful God, He states many times in the bible that the unbelievers will suffer the same fate as the other sinners. John 3:16 is one of the most famous quotes in Christianity which clearly states that in order to reach Heaven you must believe in Jesus Christ. James 2:10 also says that “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.” meaning that no matter what we do, according to the Bible we need Jesus in order to achieve Heaven because we are imperfect, and that’s it. So to think that less than 70% of the world doesn’t believe in Jesus, it makes me wonder why the majority of people on earth today will probably end up in hell according to the bible (the gate is wide and many will follow, the path to Heaven is narrow and few will follow) but thank you for replying, usually people don’t read my messages so thank you so much for responding, :)

This isn’t an argument for Christianity being true. It’s an argument to why it works best. But every religion can make an argument for that & were left not being able to measure its success
@@revetup, I didn’t miss that part, however, a non-Christian could very easily say it’s merely the narrator’s OPINION that other religions fail to reach God. My point is that the title is misleading. It reads like it’s going to be a comparative religion lesson, but it isn’t.

Never expected this video to be why I became a Christian explained! It was knowing God is in me and always with me. My family is from another religion so, First I became an atheist, Then agonistic, Then finally Christian. I think becoming an atheist at a time was a very necessary step to take a step back from it all and start from the beginning, with a clear and unbiased mind. Back then I used to think "Do I believe? " I'd say "No I don't" to myself, But it was more so I didn't believe what I was taught, And the trauma associated with that, Of what I was taught and how I was treated. It's why when I see someone who doesn't believe, I don't oppose them, I understand them.
Well done animation style, but you're information is off and not very educated when it comes to other religions. Christians (protestants mostly) have this fallacy that their religion is the only one with the concept of "God's grace" and everyone else tries to achieve salvation by their own "works". This concept of grace and "means of grace" is present in Hinduism and Buddhism. In Bhagavad Gita, any good man achieves, any piety, understanding etc cannot occur without "the causeless mercy" of God. They also have means of forgiveness of sins. Main Land Buddhism even has the same exact notion of "substitutionary atonement" Christians are so proud of.
Mark 10:18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone. What is your definition of “good man”? I believe as a Christian I cannot truly ever be good, and it is Christ in and through me that leads me day by day in living a little more like Jesus!
@@seneynah hi, this is a facet of Pure Land Buddhism. it involves faith in the Buddha to atone or substitute for one not being able to live up to the high standards he set in the eight-fold path. it's a more recent development. there's different sects and interpretations. there's also Theravada, which is more old school, and Zen and others, but you might want to research Pure Land Buddhism.

1. Isaiah 45:18 "For this is what Jehovah says, The Creator of the heavens, the true God, The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else." 2. "a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him." John 13:16 Jehovah God is greater than Jesus. 3. Jesus is the "firstborn of all creation" he was made directly by God, all other things were made through Jesus. We are all God's children in the sense that all things originate from him. But Jesus is his literal Son and firstborn. 4. Jesus is the promised seed from the first prophecy in Genesis 3:15. Not "just" a prophet. John 14:6 "no one comes to the Father except through me" we cannot please God without going through Jesus. 5. Jesus is not God, he is God's Son as he himself said many times.
@@BeHoly10 Jesus never claimed to be God. Jesus and his Father are one in the same way that he prayed for his apostles to be one with them, to think the same and have unified goals and purpose. The same way husband and wife are said to be one. None of these mean that they are literally the same individual, that's silly. The Bible never says they are one in "nature" that is a term that comes from Greek philosophy, teachings of men. A normal family contains separate individuals. The fact that father and son is used shows that one is superior to the other and thus they are not equal. Brothers or siblings or twins would be an equal relationship that Jesus surely would have used if he wished to indicate that they are the same. “Why is Christianity the only true religion?” more like “I yap about something that’s already been said 100k times so that Christians can find another excuse to believe something unreal”
Its logical reasoning. To summarize the video: How can you enter perfect paradise if you are imperfect? Answer: You are made perfect. How? By Jesus Christ sacrafice who payed for our sin. So why are other relegion false, because they make the illogical statement that you can enter a perfect place while being imperfect yourself.
You will never receive 100% proof that’s why it takes faith, I received proof because I had faith in Jesus and he’s opened my eyes so if your just gonna sit here wanting 100% proof I’m here to tell you you will never get that from anything.
I wish Christians would spread the Good News of their gospel without constantly trying to demean other religions. Fact is you don't know what you are talking about when you talk about other religions. You don't need to know about other religions if you are a Christian. You can and should focus all your energy on knowing Christ. But when you start asserting your superiority to other religions you ironically obligate yourself to focus on other religions so that you are not speaking from ignorance. It's better to focus on Christ and be poor in spirit (humble) like Jesus instructed.
Agreed. There is nothing wrong in speaking of other religious philosophies as long as you are well-versed in those philosophies, and I agree that most apologetics/ preachers (including this one) lack enough knowledge to speak of other religious philosophies.
It is just spreading the idea that for Christianity all you have to do is accept Gods ultimate forgiveness and does not rely on good acts even though good actions would be a byproduct of believers. This isn’t apparent in many of today’s religions. I don’t see what is wrong with that. Yes the title is clickbait but besides that I think it is a very reasonable video.
@@arthurarmour5480 again Christians are under no obligation to understand other religions. The message of this video required no reference to other religions. But as soon as you start making comparisons and especially asserting superiority you obligate yourself to know what you are talking about. The maker of this video does not know what he is talking about when it comes to the other religions he claims Christianity is superior to.
@@harmonyrpt He never said Christianity was superior to other religions he fairly stated the characteristics of Christianity and he stated characteristics of other religions that were relatively true statements. Like he alluded to the five pillars of Islam and Jewish Kosher. I don’t think they are bad or anything like good thing people are trying to provide for the poor. But as Christians we are not obligated to do anything other than truly and fully accept Gods forgiveness and as a byproduct we would act in a way similar to God. Now we most definitely are not perfect and there are a lot of false Christians out there. But we don’t have the same forced regulations as other religions do. This doesn’t go for all such as Buddhism but it does apply to many. He just gave insights on Christianity for believers and non believers. He never gave disinformation to others.
I’m not going to lie, I cried really hard when you said “death is the shortcut opened by the man. All those with the spirit will instantly be transported to Him”. I’ve always been very fearful of death, not because of hell because I know who my God is, but just the aspect. But I’m so happy I got that reassurance. I will be with Him instantly. I know I sound dramatic but this really helped take a load off my shoulders about that scary topic
So this is an analogy for Christianity, and the whole video is built on top of the assumption that Christianity is already true. Why is the title like that then? It should have been "An analogy of Christianity". I mean, I get it's content for Christians who want to boost their faith, but I actually clicked, thinking there was gonna be a logical, rationally derived evidence.
I think this is well done! Animation is not too much ,but just enough. Good storytelling. " may we show the love of Jesus through our actions." Never give up on God.
Nice animation style, and a nice little story. However, it doesn't bring forth any arguments to actually support the claim made in the title. It presents Christianity as a fundamentally different religion, but that's not the case, besides maybe having reached the most followers (a title now slowly being lost to Islam). If you believe I missed something, or that I'm simply wrong, feel free to correct me in the replies, but please keep it civil : )
He explained that Religion is the attempt of men to reach God, but when Jesus came, he claimed he knew what was after death, of course, people thought he was mad, but by the time he started performing miracles that cannot be explained, men where in awe and they thought to themselves that maybe this man actually is from God, but not only did he claim to come from God, he claimed to be God. not just a god in the pantheon of Gods, but the God of the Jews "Yahweh", and this God is described as truly omnipotent, something that was not ascribed to any other "god" in both the current and ancient era's. This is why Christianity is true, because we believe the teachings and the miracles of Jesus.
@@josephoyinkan5480 Yes, but, neither miracles or prophets are something unique to Christianity. (Zoroastrianism is a vastly older religion, monotheistic, and it features concepts quite similar to heaven, hell, the day of judgement, and even Satan) Even if we take the claim that Yahweh is the only god and the greater one as fact, we still have the question of Islam, that claims to be the final chapter of that story. (I'll avoid other arguments because I don't really want to make this comment section a mess, this isn't meant to be a fully religious debate ahaha.) The video was well made, and pleasant to watch. I just feel that If there's gonna be a title as absolute as this, the argument should be put in a way that at least tries to defend itself against people of different religions or no religion at all, otherwise it's not really helping to convince anybody.
Christianity is the only religion that recognizes that we alone cannot make it to heaven. Religions like Islam teach about working to heaven, that simply isn’t case. Christianity is the only religion that teaches we are all incapable of going to heaven. Hope thus helps

@@theriveroffaith852 there absolutely is moral reasoning without God. There’s an entire branch of philosophy dedicated to ethics and it doesn’t presume a supreme moral authority. In fact presuming that there is a supreme moral authority shuts down the need for ‘reasoning’ at all, since there’s no need to debate something that has black and white answers. Isn't believing in Christ a work you have to do? If so, what makes Christianity different? Also, why is Christianity being faith-based better? The only reason I see Christianity holding onto faith based salvation, is because of the belief that humans are intrinsically evil and aren't free to be good, from an outsider's perspective it doesn't make sense to me to believe that humans are entirely good or entirely evil. With works-based religions, they encourage learning and growth of character, you make some mistakes, you repent, you strive to be better. Christianity results in the same thing mostly, where people believe they are transformed and thus they strive to be better, but it seems like Christians are deprived of feeling good about their growth and their accomplishments, since fundamentally they say we all deserve to go to hell since we are scum for sinning. This doesn't seem like a good mindset to have, I believe in God, and I still give thanks to him as I grow in my character, but I know that some of that growth was due to my own effort, otherwise, is there even free will if a man's integrity is determined entirely by God? Like definitely God will assist you if you ask for it, I ask him everyday to make me a better person, but saying that I have no role in it isn't praiseworthy of God like Christians make it sound. It just means that some people were doomed to be evil, while others were lucky to be saved. What I think brings more glory to God is Him creating truly free beings that are able to grow and become great people through his help. Not creating people to be intrinsically evil, deserving of eternal torment at birth, but just flawed people with our own vices which we can grow out of if we so choose through our own self-determination with the assistance of God. I might've made a lot of assumptions in this comment, but I'm looking for what your perspective is. Currently, I'm a deist and I've heard this argument plenty of times and I don't really get what's valuable about it. At best, it makes Christianity unique, but that doesn't mean it's right.

Nice vid, nice drawings. A few problems: 1. Why is the Creator just sitting on top of a mountain instead of coming down to earth to, I don’t know, BE WITH the things he created? Why create them at all if he just wanted to leave them in silence? He would rather have them, who are so much less powerful and knowledgeable than him, do the hard and dangerous work of climbing all the way up, during which (or even BECAUSE of which) many of them die horrible, meaningless deaths without ever reaching the top. What a cruel and apathetic Creator to let them suffer like this, especially if all they really had to do to reach the top was just live a good life at the bottom and then die. Why hide that from them at all? Why withhold that and watch them suffer as they work toward an impossible goal? Why sit in silence and watch some of them write completely incorrect holy books instead of just telling them all what the deal was from the start? 2. Kind of convenient you just focused on ONE of the men who claimed to know the truth about the Creator. Weren’t there also dozens of other men around the world and across history claiming to know all the answers, and didn’t they also demonstrate their credibility through displays of supernatural power? What makes him the right one? How are the people to really know which was the right one? They can’t ALL have been the one… but they all could have NOT been. 3. Kind of convenient that all people somehow innately KNOW that there is a Creator without explaining where that belief came from, and you don’t account for any people that simply don’t believe in one because they see no evidence of one. And besides, if he’s just going to sit up there and not do anything or help out, what’s even the point? If he’s that disinterested in us that he doesn’t bother to come down or even shout down, then why should we bother to go up to him? 4. Kind of convenient that you didn’t include how the holy books have so many instances of the Creator divinely murdering people that he didn’t like and doing amazing things in some incredible past. It seems as though in the past he was actually incredibly involved in the world in very violent, destructive, and awe inspiring ways, and now he just isn’t doing any of that for some reason. Funny , how he was so willing to give tangible proof of himself before (in events localized entirely in the Bronze Age Middle East) and now he’s suddenly too good for that and decided arbitrarily that all his subjects should just have blind faith instead of real evidence. 5. Kind of convenient that you didn’t include all the millions of people and organizations throughout history who used that Creator as justification to eradicate whole groups of people and legislate against people they disagreed with, whether because it was written in the holy book that such people should be punished or because it was simply common prejudice that they used the book to justify. 6. Kind of biased and pessimistic to assume that the people who didn’t climb were simply languishing in misery and sorrow without accomplishing anything meaningful. No, clearly we should all be like the climbers, moving ever upward toward a meaningless goal that can be achieved without any of the effort, being dragged upward by dogmatic leaders who stamp out opposition and go to war and commit genocide, not only against other climbers, but against climbers simply in a different grouping of their own cluster, for differences of opinion, because everyone is so ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that their cluster is right that they’re willing to kill for it. Clearly, we should devote our lives to struggle and self deprecation and toil for no appreciable returns in this life, all to appease the cruel, murderous, neglectful, lazy, questionably-real abusive father in the sky.
Bruh you made a crucial mistake in your first point, the Creator did came to Earth,His name Is Jesus,He is God incarnate,The second person of The Trinity
@@Aizen-he3cy According to you, maybe. Many Christian denominations (like the one I grew up in) don’t accept the idea of the Trinity and believe Jesus to have been a separate entity from God (but I suppose you’ll tell me that those are all wrong and you just happen to to be in the “right” denomination, correct?). But whether Jesus was God or not, that still doesn’t counter the criticisms I made and it doesn’t solve the problem. The problem is that God is unlikely to exist because: 1. There is no observable, positive scientific evidence that he exists 2. There is no outstanding historical evidence (at least not any more than any other religion could provide, which boils down to “old book say it happen, therefore it happen”) 3. All the appeals to faith and the supernatural made by Christianity can be made by other religions just as easily, rendering any distinction meaningless beyond personal preference and therefore useless for objective and secular decision making (i.e. if your book says Jesus performed divine miracles and their book says Buddha or Muhammad performed divine miracles, clearly only one of these books, IF ANY, can be telling the truth and the rest are lies, so unless you can objectively prove that any one of them is telling the truth then it’s far more logical to assume that all of them are lying and that there is no supernatural) And lastly, all the excuses for why we can’t observe God and confirm his existence objectively are stupid. Period. If he wants everyone to follow him and believe in him, you’d think STEP 1 of that process would be making sure everyone undeniably knows he exists, correct? Otherwise how could he possibly expect us to follow him with any level of trust, much less know how to follow him correctly and choose the “right” denomination? And even IF there is a God, and even IF the Bible as it is written is an accurate depiction of him, he’s STILL a sociopathic, child murdering, tyrannical, violent, petty, selfish, slave driving dictator who CHOOSES violence at every provocation despite having all the power he needs to resolve things peacefully. He’s supposedly “perfect”, and yet everything went to crap on his watch when everything was under his full control. In short, he comes across as someone who isn’t even worth respecting, let alone loving or worshipping.
@webwarrior1.038 Imagine you’re working in an office building. One day, a strange man walks in and shouts “THERE’S A BOMB IN HERE, EVERYONE GET OUT!” Like everyone else, you take him at his word and you run out of the building, in fact you see it as your duty to make sure everyone leaves too so that no one is in danger. When you’re all out of there, the man says loudly “Years ago, I was informed by Bill the homeless wizard (he’s dead now, so don’t look him up) that this building will explode at some point in the future! He could do magic and stuff, I can’t do magic myself, but he totally could! Therefore abandon the building, let it fall into ruin, and come work for me at my building!” And you say “Well sure, IF what you say is true, I don’t want to work in a building that has a bomb in it, but do I have to work for you specifically? By looking at your own company’s website where you proudly admit all the crimes you’ve committed, one can clearly see that your policies are unfair and your pay is crap and you fire people and ruin their reputations forever over the smallest infractions.” And he says “Well yes, I’m extremely proud of all that, it shows what a perfect boss I am, and those things I’ve done are all right and good and correct, but no! You can’t work anywhere else, every building is going to blow up except mine, so it’s the only way to be safe and you’d better shut up and get onboard, otherwise you’ll die! Obey the words of Bill as I speak them, or in other words, OBEY WHATEVER I SAY BILL SAID!” That might be enough to convince you. Maybe it convinces a lot of people, and they quit their jobs and work for the guy while everyone else keeps their jobs and waits for the police to show up and investigate. But soon the police do show up, a bomb squad comes in… and they can’t find the bomb! They look everywhere, scan every inch of the place with metal detectors and sniffing dogs, and absolutely zilch! So they ask the guy “alright sir, you called in the bomb threat. Where is this bomb?” “Oh, I know exactly where it is, officer, and I know exactly when it will go off! I could prove it right now!” “Alright then, show us please.” “No.” “N…? What the hell do you mean ‘no’?! You called us here saying there’s a bomb! Is there or isn’t there?!” “Of course there is.” “Then show us!” “No. You can’t stop it anyway.” “That may be, but we’ll at least be able to confirm that it’s a real threat, and we’ll be able to help you evacuate these people! Hell, if it’s true, we’ll even work for you ourselves!” “Oh, I see. Still no.” “WHY?!” “Because.” “BECAUSE WHAT?!” “Because. Bill was willing to show people in the past proof of these bombs all the time-“ “Can we speak to those people?” “No, they’re dead, but Bill says he showed them. I could show you, but I won’t, because you should take it on faith because Bill says so. It cheapens the sacrifice if you know the bomb’s real.” “Look, dude… if the bomb’s NOT real, then we don’t have to make the sacrifice! Show us that there’s any need to make this sacrifice at all, and we’ll gladly do it!” “No.” “Because you can’t prove there’s a bomb?” “No, I can, I’m just never going to show you and you’ll only ever see it when it eventually goes off, which will happen at some point-“ “When?” “At some point-“ “WHEN?” “At some point, in the future-“ “WHEN, dude?!! Today?! Tomorrow?! A hundred years from now, a thousand years from now?! TELL US WHEN!” “I can tell you, just like I can show you it exists.” “So do both of those! At least do one of them!” “No! I’m not doing either!” “Why?!” “BECAUSE! It means nothing if you don’t just follow me without any evidence!” Then the manager of the building with the supposed bomb in it walks up and says “officer, please, don’t waste your time on this man! He’s clearly a lunatic!” The officer says “yeah, I can see that. He’s raving about every building but his having a bomb in it-“ “But that’s just it!” the manager exclaims. “It’s HIS building that has a bomb in it, not mine. In fact, it’s actually every other building in the world that has a bomb in it EXCEPT mine, so the people in this building should stay where they are and everyone else should come here to work, including you!” The officer, getting a headache at this point, says “Lemme guess… a wizard told you this?” “Of course! Larry the suburban homeowner wizard, the one true prophet (he’s dead now, so don’t look him up)! He could do magic and stuff, I can’t do magic myself, but he totally could! He’s SO MUCH more reliable than that charlatan Bill! The people Bill showed proof to in the past were all mistaken, but the testimonies of the ones who saw Larry’s proof are all completely trustworthy!” And soon, a thousand other managers are all making the exact same claim. There’s a bomb in every building but mine, so come work for me! No, I’m not going to prove it, stop asking! It was proven to people in the past! Just come! My policies don’t matter if I’m the only way you’re going to live, right? So now, everyone is confused. The workers all choose whichever building suits their personal preferences, and the bomb squad thinks they’re all delusional because they can’t find any of the supposed bombs. Years and years go by, and not a single building explodes. Some of them go bankrupt and shut down, some of them get outcompeted and absorbed into other companies, some split apart because of feuds and groups of employees set out to build their own buildings and find their own wizards to prophecy about bombs, but NONE of the buildings are ever confirmed to have bombs in them at all. Some people even reject office work entirely and go freelance, because they think all this “exploding buildings” stuff is complete nonsense that no one can prove. Except… there’s a twist to this story. The first guy was right! When he entered that building, there really was a bomb in there, because he had it under his shirt the whole time, hidden under wrappings that made it undetectable to metal detectors and dogs! He’s got a detonator in his pocket that will set off all the bombs in all the buildings, and he knows exactly when he’s going to do it. All he had to do was open his shirt and show them the date marked on his calendar, and they would’ve believed. There never would’ve been an issue over which building to work at, and none of the people he plans on blowing up would ever have died. Sure, maybe some people would have stayed at their chosen buildings, but everyone would know from the get go that those people were wrong to do so. So tell me, who is the idiot in this situation? The bomb squad, for doing their jobs and refusing to acknowledge what isn’t observable? The freelancers, who think all the business owners are making equally bogus claims because none of them provide any proof? The workers, who mostly go into whatever business their parents did without questioning it and will pick and choose which parts of the company policies to focus on in order to make themselves feel better? Or is it the first guy, who made all this long, drawn-out, pointless suffering happen because he was too self righteous and demanding to just show people why they should believe him?
@asherpikesgoldenmoralcinem5770 I appreciate your politeness, and I don’t mean to come off as aggressive or disrespectful, but I disagree. First of all, since when is the success of an empire dependent on their religion? Christian nations gained power the same way all other nations did: good economies and strong militaries. That’s all you need. The Aztecs were the most powerful empire in South America, was that because of human sacrifice? China is one of the oldest and most successful empires in history, was that because of their gods? China, Egypt, Persia, Greece, all were advanced, flourishing civilizations with advanced sciences and architecture when the Hebrews, God’s “chosen people” who had him on their side to help them with conquest and genocide, were a bunch of sheep herders scraping around in the desert. Was that because the Egyptian, Chinese, Persian, and Greek gods were more powerful than Judeo-Christian God? Europe spread Christianity throughout the world the same way the Arabs spread Islam, through slaughter, conquest, and forced conversion. It didn’t become widespread because it was somehow more legitimate, it became widespread because it was the religion of the people who were better at warfare than the people around them. And secondly, Christianity advanced society? Are you serious? For hundreds of years it held society back. It limited the rights of women, limited intellectual freedom, choked the arts and sciences, and was used to support colonialism, environmental destruction, racism, and slavery because God’s new “chosen people” had divine mandate to do whatever they wanted. Tell Galileo that Christianity helped society advance, tell the hundreds of women killed in the witch trials, tell the victims of the inquisition how much more “tolerant” Christianity made people. Social change came about in spite of Christianity, not because of it. It isn’t an accident that the people supporting social and scientific progress nowadays are mostly secular and the people most against social and scientific progress are mostly religious. Religion hates change and likes to keep the world simple, but the world has never been simple. It claims to be objective and perfectly truthful, but watch how fast people curl up into knots trying to justify the parts of the Bible that most people don’t agree with anymore. You’re gonna tell me EVERY example of genocide in the Bible was a mistranslation? Sure, ascribe every bad thing you don’t like to a mistranslation, but don’t then expect me to believe that the book is still perfect or even godly inspired. If God would allow the only testimony to his existence to be so full of blatant inaccuracies and so hard to interpret correctly, then it is useless, and how the hell did he expect anyone to get it right?
I’m agnostic so I came to this video with a critical eye, but attempted to keep an open mind to the points being made. though it was a nice video and showed an interesting contrast between christianity and what is assumed of other religions, to me it didn't really give convincing evidence as to why one should believe in the existence of this (or any) specific version of a creator at all. though perhaps that was simply not the point of the video and my expectations were wrong. the animation style is cute and has a nice calming vibe to it, kudos for that.
It proves Christianity is nothing like other religions and is true. Even this is nothing like what the roman pagan church requires for salvation, if thats what comes to your mind. Actual Christianity is a true faith, without relics, pictures, or popes. It is a faith that when you see it truly change your heart, you come closer to Christ and know it is true. You have no idea how cringe you and all unbelievers are. Farting around aimlessly completely miserable, no hope, thinking it'll all go black when its over. Its sad, but no one has any excuses. You can find the scriptures anywhere, they can be mailed to your doorstep, you can find someone online who teaches them freely on youtube. But people like you would rather "trust the science", believe what the world tells you, and not what God has been telling us since before we existed. You have infinitely more trust in satans institutions than trust in the most popular person to have every existed, that everyone on earth knows the name of, who is still to this day after 2000 years, attacked non-stop. Jesus Christ. Once you accept the truth, youll start to see how you have always been deceived by the world, how deep the deception goes, and how it is a miracle you were brought out of it and into the light.
Well what the heck do you want? Isn’t it obvious by now that you will never receive 100%% proof it takes faith then you may get proof like I did I know Jesus personally and he’s opened my eyes
@@Surgeie Oh I already know I will never have proof of Christianity, because there is none, like you said it relies heavily on faith but that’s besides the point. This video is claiming to prove that Christianity is the one true religion, but it’s not even offering an argument let alone evidence, like there are plenty of arguments Christian’s like to use to back their beliefs, but this video doesn’t even offer an argument it’s literally just an analogy explaining Christian beliefs, the title is incredibly misleading.
As a Polytheist-Pagan, the Mountain Theory holds water in other religions too, in Chinese Polytheism, Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was trapped underneath of a mountain. In Greek Polytheism, Mount Etna is where Typhon, the Father of Monsters is trapped, and Mount Olympus is the home of the Gods. Mount Zion was and STILL IS the Mountain of God, Mount Sinai was where Moses struck the rock, and made water flow from it. Even in modern day spirituality, Mount Shasta is whats called a "power spot", where supernaturally generated and unnatural looking clouds come down to heal Earth's soul, and there are FEW of these Power Spots left on Earth. Every religion has its own significant mountain, and there have been other significant mountains before. Mountains IN GENERAL are said to be supernatural in nature, as they are the origin points of Leylines, which are spiritual boundaries where different dimensions intertwine with one another. All religions are valid and true IN and OF themselves, none of them are false, is what I believe. I already know theres gonna be radical religionists in the replies telling me Im wrong and that I need to repent, but they only say it because they know that they themselves are wrong.
I think the “power spots” are really just weird places affected by nature causing strange weather and cloud patterns. You said there aren’t many left because that is most likely climate change.
Glad you said that all religions are valid. Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” If this is true other religions must not be true.
@@Jepperyful Its not true, and yet other religions are still disrespected DESPITE CHRISTIANITY BEING AROUND AFTER ALL OTHER RELIGIONS, NOT BEFORE THEM.
Thanks for this. Watched a few times. I’m Catholic but majority of my family is not religious. I’ve tried using this to explain the religion to some degree
Amazing analogy about climbing the mountain! I wish people would realize that noone has the power to climb the mountain on their own! But our God is Merciful.. May He have mercy on our soul!
Just because a religion has a different approach to salvation than others doesn’t automatically make it true. The fact that it’s different makes it interesting, but not necessarily valid. Captivating as it might be, it is just as arbitrary.
True, it doesn’t. What doesn’t make sense either is to believe in the Big Bang, where out of chaos you got order. That is a logical fallacy, how do you get mathematics, DNA, etc from an explosion? You can’t, there would have to have been a designer. The next question is, who is that designer?
@@johnnyfuentes888 Sure who is that designer? But based on this video how can we truly know that Christianity is the one true religion? Just because it has a different approach to salvation? Okay sure, in Christianity its about how god reaches us and not us reaching god. BUT once again that itself doesn't prove Christianity is the ONE TRUE religion. Realistically, there isn't a metric that could measure whether a religion is more true than another. The fact is noone will ever know. You can have faith and that can be really good for people, but your faith in a god doesn't make it any different that another's faith in another god. Even if you could prove that a god exists, theres no way you can prove that it is of your religion.
This was a beautiful video best way to explain Christianit and explain God and the holy Spirit and Jesus God bless your brother Jesus loves you Jesus is King 🙏❤️✝️
2000 years later, after the Man from the Mountain is indistinguishable from legend and no further sign from above the clouds has been received, three options remain: 1. The mountain does not end 2. The mountaintop is empty 3. Whoever sits on the mountaintop does not care about the world below the clouds at all
@@arthurarmour5480 how would that make sense? We've been killing and oppressing each for millennia over the Man in the Mountain having blue or brown eyes. During all these years all we have is someone hearing a voice or perhaps seeing a glimpse of something between the clouds. I think it's time for us to draw the more or less obvious conclusions.
explaining God is very difficult, not alot of people can truly grasp what it means to be omnipotent, omniscient, and all powerful, despite me clarifying this, one person still didn't understand how one with these qualities can dictate life
Nope, really it just misinterprets all religions in a self defined obsurdity while never defining how or why it was absurd to begin with. Why? Because it ignored it's own mountaintop origin where man does ascend and meet G-d through Moses and all of Israel. The fun thing is Mt Sinai is a humble mountain because the Torah states it's own ease of access, saying that a god which makes right action impossible for his creation is essentially evil. This is the duality built in to early Christianity, they create a devil to justify the existence of a demiurge and fill that gap of evil VS evil with a new god one who is flesh and blood just like the Pharoahs and kings that enslaved the people of Israel and killed their Christian King. They claim it is a book of life but ignore the very real connection they have to ancient Egyptian mythos, it is a book of death one that claims salvation, freedom, and perfection is within the grave. It's a defeatest stance that spits in the face of the only gift they have, life. What do you get when you bow down to man? What do you get when your god is dead?
Who cares about explanation or scientific facts all you have to say is a beautiful metaphor and then say “because god 🥺” and that’s it’s .. why is the sky blue? Because god .. why do atoms have so much empty space in between them ? Because god . Why are some animals evolved to do certain things in their environment ? Because god. What’s 3+3? It equals god! Who cares about logic or anything else god is always the answer. Also who created the devil and can destroy him at anytime? I’ll let y’all answer that one .

@arohk4415 ahhh, yes, the holy book that cadones owning people and treating women as property. The holy book that says worship me or I'll punish you for eternity. What a loving god, lol. The holy book that was written 100 years after Jesus died. The book with dozens of writers, yet you think it has univocality.
keep up bro u made me more confident about god and heaven. dying is not a bad think. so every one who fears dying should stop cuz dying is the way to meet jesus nd god.
When Jesus was human, the Father was in heaven, but when he was crucified, did his divine origin return? So, two gods, in addition to the Holy Spirit, became three. And whoever created Jesus is definitely the Father. So how can a god create and pray to a god that is truly higher than him? It is a ridiculous religion. You have been manipulated
and still billions of people believe that have you ever question why ? your confused and have ignorance towards christanity . Christanity teaches God is one that is correct but is he one person no the bible teaches they are three The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Word Being Jesus .Was Jesus created NO he is uncreated same for the Spirit .Just as you believe Quran is the uncreated word of God. Jesus Became man and live among us he was the the light of the World whoever believe in him will have everlasting life .Jesusmc himself bore the sins of the whole world on the cross and died for thier sake why did he did that Because he loves us more than anyone The bible says we are childrens of God .We have gone astray and sinned against our God who is our Father therefore Christ himself bore our sins he loves us Because God is love he teaches us to love one and another not to harm them why because GOD loves us and God loves you
“Religion is mans attempt to reach God and Christianity is Gods attempt to reach man” Christianity is a religion... of course every religious person would believe that their religion is the only truthful and this video does not provide anything new to help prove that Christianity is the actual one. of course, if Jesus had truly been born of a virgin performed miracles and then resurrected, then yes of course the true religion would be Christianity named after Jesus Christ. but did he really do all that? isn't that the whole point of every debate concerning the validity of Christianity ever? this video is as useful as me saying that Muslims are right because all other religions deteriorated from the correct path up the mountain. but the prophet Mohamed came, performed miracles, thought us the correct way to the top and how to not loose the knowledge to do so. just because I said it happened doesn't mean it did.
Christianity is the only true one. The whole world timeframe is around Jesus life (BC, BCE, AD, CE) whatever historical things happened all mentioned based on Jesus life, even non believers celebrate dates with respect to the famous calendar which is based on Jesus. God wishes to run the whole world around Jesus, or else how it would have happened? Islam believes that Jesus (called “Isa” in Arabic) was a prophet of God and was born to a virgin (Mary). No other prophets and humans had this miraculous birth. They also believe he will return to Earth before the Day of Judgment to restore justice. Jesus and Holy Mother Mary are mentioned in the Quran many times. The Qur’an states that Jesus is Allah’s “word which he cast into Mary, and a ‘spirit’ from him” (Sura 4:171). Jesus is also called a word from Allah in Sura 3:39, 45. No prophets were described these much divine and said to have the word and spirit of God. God won't give His word and spirit to His creation(a prophet). So all these indirectly say that Jesus is God Himself.
@@TMAGA72 even though christians and muslims do agree in some aspects, they are still mutually exclusive. Muslims believe that the bible has been corrupted since jesus came and that it is unreliable. And Christians believe that Mohamed was not a true prophet. Furthermore It doesn't matter to me what Muslims claim about jesus, there are thousands of religions around the world and they would all have something to say, but why should I accept their truth claims in the first place? Now, of course Christianity has a great influence on our culture, it's just History. the roman empire conquered most of europe and then Europe made colonies all over the world. But popularity doesn't mean something is true, hindus are almost as numerous as christians, and you should probably be able to name a politician that has many followers despite being completely awful. You say that god wants to rule the world though christianity (how you know the will of god is beyond me) but Christians are only 31% of the world population, many of whom never critically questioned their religion assigned at birth and just happily accepted the religion that was indoctrinated to them as children. "Christianity is true because it is popular" is a really bad argument. But hey, that's at least an argument that does address the question in the title.
the premise of the entire video is undermined by the words of jesus himself. check out the parable of the sheep and the goats in matthew 25:31-46. in this story, jesus explains that those who help the less fortunate will attain eternal life, while those who do not will receive eternal punishment. sounds to me like he outlined a very clear path up the mountain.

@@Mr.Dodo- for that you have the dogmatic rules of christianity as basis, and you could argue the same way with other systems of belief. You have the presumed notion that first the perfect paradise exists, which granted most systems do to so it's not the big problem, but mostly that you can't achieve wholeness in any other way. You assume so without any weight, because a buddhist monk will say you can achieve perfection only by yourself and his opinion holds as much value as yours. So yes it is a phallacy because you base it on preconceived notions that are dogmatic and not based on a universal logic.
@@EuryalusVolcens The monks opnions is valued the same as mine, but that does not mean it makes logical sense. How is living life in a way imaginable make up for the mistakes you have made. Its just not possible. Its like having a doctor in court saying that he should get off the murder trial, because he saved a lot of people. It doesnt make him any less guilty and imperfect.
@@Mr.Dodo- every religion has a system for attonance, the difference is in whether you agree with their system, because it is just as valid as yours. Both have millenia of phylosophy and thought put into it, and both have a sizeable following. Muslims have the tawba, hinduists have purification rituals, taoists have scriptures and repentance rituals. The main difference between christianity and the religions i mentioned are that in christianity you assume your sins are paid for by the death of Jesus, while in the ones i mentioned yours sins are forgiven by the respective god/gods due to personal sacrifice and inner work. It is as logical as yours, so you can't say it isn't both a phallacy for assuming you're more right than the others as well as a belittlement of others beliefs by thinking of your moral support as superior.
@@Mr.Dodo- Heaven wasn't perfect anyway. So why should we expect things to turn out better, this time? Civil wars in perfect realms pervaded by spirit, presence and knowledge... are ludicrous.

"The Blind could see, the deaf could hear, and the dead are raised to life" This has a double meaning, those who were spiritually dead can now see, hear, and now are spiritually alive.
Awesome analogy🖖❤👍
John 3:3-7 (NKJV):
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Old Testament/ Hebrew Bible/ Jewish Faith - Faith in Lord God looking forward to the cross
New Testament - Faith in Jesus Christ looking back at the cross
Is it still possible to find faith in Christ by having the same faith as the Old Testament?
No its not the same
Old Testament is actually a backbone for Christianity also.
@@schalkheymans9098Explain punk
In the Old Testament they looked forward to Christ but in the New Testament and today we look back on what Christ has done. It’s all on Jesus

@@seneynahyes Christ is mentioned in Buddhist records

As a Eritrean/Jamaican Orthodox Christian, Christ is king
@@simulationbros Aw, yes, because Moses was faithful to God, but because he cursed one time about something, God denied him entry into the holy land. Moses wasn't prefect but that guy did lead the people for years and was denied for one silly, sin. God is fickled and unforgiving person. Also, does anyone who worship a god believe they are higher than said god? And latest, no duh nobody know who would be prophet. Humans only really accept a prophet word after the fact. And then people like you accept it because, ha, surely hindsight is one hundred percent.
@@davidbrevik2537Gods actions changed as the environment of his people changed which only makes sense. God never denied Moses salvation. Denying him Israel’s promised land is different from denying salvation. God is a forgiving God. Doesn’t mean that there should never be punishments at least in that time. Moses was separated from the people because at that time the people had a broken relationship with God. You have to understand that in the time of Moses it was completely different from now. Christ came as that man Moses was and created a bridge for us so we no longer needed a priest to have direct connection with God. Instead he choose to live inside of us so we could then have a personal connection with him. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. @@davidbrevik2537 Btw read the Old Testament thoroughly before commenting on it. Moses was not denied the promised land because he cursed out loud. He was denied the promised land when he doubted God’s power and chose to do things his own way when breaking open the rock with water using his staff. In that day and age God needed to be more forceful and had to establish a law system to keep the people in check because there were many more pagan religions at the time who indulged in vile acts. He had to stop his people from joining in on this terrible behavior and therefore and to be more strict. I cannot fully speak for God as he knows more than me and all of us but basic reason has led me to this conclusion which is shared with many people. This doesn’t actually contain an argument for Christianity’s truth
All religions are about doing. In Christianity is about done. It is not our good works that will get us to see the Creator. It is the internal relationship and external relationship that you have with him. Truth be told we're All weak pieces of trash but we can go to heaven. Cuz we still have a ticket. Either you can pay for it and you know the cost or someone else can pay for it cuz they already paid for it.
@@pandacrush419 So it makes an argument that Christianity is unique among religions, but does not demonstrate that it is uniquely true.
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

But in Galatians says those who follow the Moses are cursed. Christ came to establish the law, not enforce it.
That is why when we sin it's like a stab in his heart. The fear of the Lord is being afraid of hurting him. Because we love him so much for sacrificing himself so that we don't have to suffer. For not measuring up to God's standards.
Even if you later on become a monk in life who has full control of emotions , you will still have to pay the price for the sins you have done in the past .. It is for these sins of you and me and many many generations whose price was too much and due to which there was no hope for the salvation of whole of humanity , that no amount of peace sacrifices was enough to repay for , That God sent his only son , Jesus, who was sinless and blameless, to die on the cross as the final and infinite sacrifice to cover all the sins of the past, present and future, for all who believe he was God and he died and raised from the dead again on the third day... )

Then came the Lake of Fire and Annihilationism, deriving from the Greek.
Then was designed by Religous Churches of Christianity for Dante's Inferno. The Modern Hollywood depiction of Hell. The lie and false scriptural.
Truth is, Hell is empty. No one is in Hell, not even Demons. Until Judgment Day by Yeshua. The day when Hell holds Demons and Humans. None will love it but to face YHWH's wrath and Judgment.
People who claim to have visited Hell are but lies. It is not scriptural because Hell is empty.
Same with "I saw Heaven" because if they were true Christians.

Otherwise, I must walk away from this World and from its people.)
I do criticize YHWH for harming the unbelievers.

So something like that is what I am talking about.

This makes sense since Mathew 25:46 says “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
This means that hell is a place of torment/separation and torture/punishment for the sinners according to this verse.
For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
The idea that the majority of humanity will end up in hell makes sense (though not for the reasons that this verse is implying) since according to worldatlas.com more than 30% of the global population identify as Christians (so less than 70% are unbelievers and are in danger of falling into hell).
That’s why you can’t necessarily judge someone’s eternity based on the bad deeds they’ve done up to a certain point because they may not have found the truth yet, but it doesn’t mean that they are incapable of doing so…
edit: i think in order to make earth a place where people are more able to find the truth is A) knowing who the true God is and the morals should almost be innate to us so that there is no confusion about the rules of life and 2) because we are infinite beings and earth is just a race, we should be given enough time to find the truth. Therefore if someone dies and goes to hell, it means they weren’t given enough time or guidance to find the truth - this is a lot to ask, but by eliminating the obstacles of finding the true religion and giving enough time for each human, we are given a more fair race that focuses on our character development and journey of finding the goodness of God within us instead of doing an extra search for which religion is the correct one and punishing us for falling in our human nature for eternity,
I’m not really sure if this makes any sense… I’m not a theologian or apologetic (if that’s how you spell it) in any way shape or form, I’m just an 18 year old who’s trying learn how to navigate this world.
So to think that less than 70% of the world doesn’t believe in Jesus, it makes me wonder why the majority of people on earth today will probably end up in hell according to the bible (the gate is wide and many will follow, the path to Heaven is narrow and few will follow)

Mark 10:18
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.
What is your definition of “good man”? I believe as a Christian I cannot truly ever be good, and it is Christ in and through me that leads me day by day in living a little more like Jesus!

Jesus never claimed to be God.
Depends on the situation.

@@josephoyinkan5480
Yes, but, neither miracles or prophets are something unique to Christianity. (Zoroastrianism is a vastly older religion, monotheistic, and it features concepts quite similar to heaven, hell, the day of judgement, and even Satan)
Even if we take the claim that Yahweh is the only god and the greater one as fact, we still have the question of Islam, that claims to be the final chapter of that story. (I'll avoid other arguments because I don't really want to make this comment section a mess, this isn't meant to be a fully religious debate ahaha.)
The video was well made, and pleasant to watch.

The problem is that God is unlikely to exist because:
1. There is no observable, positive scientific evidence that he exists
2. There is no outstanding historical evidence (at least not any more than any other religion could provide, which boils down to “old book say it happen, therefore it happen”)
3. All the appeals to faith and the supernatural made by Christianity can be made by other religions just as easily, rendering any distinction meaningless beyond personal preference and therefore useless for objective and secular decision making (i.e. if your book says Jesus performed divine miracles and their book says Buddha or Muhammad performed divine miracles, clearly only one of these books, IF ANY, can be telling the truth and the rest are lies, so unless you can objectively prove that any one of them is telling the truth then it’s far more logical to assume that all of them are lying and that there is no supernatural)
And lastly, all the excuses for why we can’t observe God and confirm his existence objectively are stupid.
Where is this bomb?”
“Oh, I know exactly where it is, officer, and I know exactly when it will go off! I could prove it right now!”
“Alright then, show us please.”
“No.”
“N…? What the hell do you mean ‘no’?! You called us here saying there’s a bomb! Is there or isn’t there?!”
“Of course there is.”
“Then show us!”
“No. You can’t stop it anyway.”
“That may be, but we’ll at least be able to confirm that it’s a real threat, and we’ll be able to help you evacuate these people! Hell, if it’s true, we’ll even work for you ourselves!”
“Oh, I see. Still no.”
“WHY?!”
“Because.”
“BECAUSE WHAT?!”
“Because. Bill was willing to show people in the past proof of these bombs all the time-“
“Can we speak to those people?”
“No, they’re dead, but Bill says he showed them. I could show you, but I won’t, because you should take it on faith because Bill says so. It cheapens the sacrifice if you know the bomb’s real.”
“Look, dude… if the bomb’s NOT real, then we don’t have to make the sacrifice! Show us that there’s any need to make this sacrifice at all, and we’ll gladly do it!”
“No.”
“Because you can’t prove there’s a bomb?”
“No, I can, I’m just never going to show you and you’ll only ever see it when it eventually goes off, which will happen at some point-“
“When?”
“At some point-“
“WHEN?”
“At some point, in the future-“
“WHEN, dude?!! Today?! Tomorrow?! A hundred years from now, a thousand years from now?! TELL US WHEN!”
“I can tell you, just like I can show you it exists.”
“So do both of those! At least do one of them!”
“No! I’m not doing either!”
“Why?!”
“BECAUSE! It means nothing if you don’t just follow me without any evidence!”
Then the manager of the building with the supposed bomb in it walks up and says “officer, please, don’t waste your time on this man! He’s clearly a lunatic!” The officer says “yeah, I can see that. He’s raving about every building but his having a bomb in it-“
“But that’s just it!” the manager exclaims. “It’s HIS building that has a bomb in it, not mine. In fact, it’s actually every other building in the world that has a bomb in it EXCEPT mine, so the people in this building should stay where they are and everyone else should come here to work, including you!”
The officer, getting a headache at this point, says “Lemme guess… a wizard told you this?”
“Of course! Larry the suburban homeowner wizard, the one true prophet (he’s dead now, so don’t look him up)! He could do magic and stuff, I can’t do magic myself, but he totally could! He’s SO MUCH more reliable than that charlatan Bill! The people Bill showed proof to in the past were all mistaken, but the testimonies of the ones who saw Larry’s proof are all completely trustworthy!”
And soon, a thousand other managers are all making the exact same claim.
Guys jesus was god prophet and some people created new religion and they say our creator is jesus and you guys belive this

Actually Christianity was before any other religion
How exactly does this prove that Christianity is the only true religion?
Idk
@@Surgeie well that is subjective evidence

Polytheism is the gods' attempt to reach humanity.
I think the “power spots” are really just weird places affected by nature causing strange weather and cloud patterns. You said there aren’t many left because that is most likely climate change.

2000 years later, after the Man from the Mountain is indistinguishable from legend and no further sign from above the clouds has been received, three options remain:
1. The mountain does not end
2. The mountaintop is empty
3. Whoever sits on the mountaintop does not care about the world below the clouds at all
4. Whoever is up there really cares for you, me, and all people past and present and is waiting for the right time when many have accepted the faith.
@@arthurarmour5480 how would that make sense? We've been killing and oppressing each for millennia over the Man in the Mountain having blue or brown eyes. During all these years all we have is someone hearing a voice or perhaps seeing a glimpse of something between the clouds. I think it's time for us to draw the more or less obvious conclusions.
explaining God is very difficult, not alot of people can truly grasp what it means to be omnipotent, omniscient, and all powerful, despite me clarifying this, one person still didn't understand how one with these qualities can dictate life
doesnt explain why it's the only true religion but ok
“Religion is mans attempt to reach God and Christianity is Gods attempt to reach man”
Christianity is a religion... of course every religious person would believe that their religion is the only truthful and this video does not provide anything new to help prove that Christianity is the actual one.
of course, if Jesus had truly been born of a virgin performed miracles and then resurrected, then yes of course the true religion would be Christianity named after Jesus Christ. but did he really do all that? isn't that the whole point of every debate concerning the validity of Christianity ever?
this video is as useful as me saying that Muslims are right because all other religions deteriorated from the correct path up the mountain. but the prophet Mohamed came, performed miracles, thought us the correct way to the top and how to not loose the knowledge to do so. just because I said it happened doesn't mean it did.
The video straight up doesn't answer the question in the title lol
Boldest recommendation I have ever gotten from youtube

As is calling anything in Deuteronomy or Leviticus, timeless... or useful. Beyond a few crumbs.
Meantime, in the Job story... Satan entered paradise with hardly any fuss.
Seemed like his delusional attitude got much respect too: and his questions.
God doesn’t attempt, God does. Christianity is the way that God saves.
jesus is not the messiah he didn't fulfill the messianic prophecies.

This was fantastic storytelling. This has helped me to have hope and believe that Jesus is the way
