I bought mine in September 2018 for my new 3 based on your original recommendation. Absolutely love it and have had many other Tesla owners ask about it.
Thanks Brian! I love this product but after a long search for a perfect plate holder for my model 3 few months ago this was my number 2 on the list. I found OttoSteer license plate holder to be the best out there. It's fast to install yet it doesn't keep a huge gap between the bumper and plate and at the same time it doesn't touch the bumper. It is magnetic and takes 0.5 seconds to remove if you choose to :). Had it for 5 months and its perfect.
Wow that is super easy to install and at a very good price, I'm going to check it out for my Model 3. This is very helpful for states like mine that require front license plate. Thanks Brian for an awesome video.

Thanks for your review! I just got mine in my mail, and OMG this thing is perfect! Everything you want -- no installation fuss, security lock, no damage to the grill, and... (you didn't mention this), doesn't interfere with the front grill function (some products cover that part of the grill). So happy to have bought it. Tony's gonna get rich on this one! ;)

@@Resist4 the plate wobbles and you can see that in the snap plate demo video . It looks good but its not stable. Have you tried OttoSteer? Again I am not in anyway related to OttoSteer but they truly have the best concept for Tesla.

I just checked and it can be mounted off center but it will block one of the sensors. No code, Tony's a good friend. It's worth it

Thanks for the great tips. Just ordered the Quick bandit. I picked up my Model Y on Friday, with a trailer hitch. I ordered before your video came out. I wonder if there is software with the factory install. Under Driving, at the bottom I have "off road assist", "slip start" and "trailer mode". Is your Y the same?
OK Brian, you have us drooling about the hood. What did you do with the hood, it looks great? Where do I get mine done when my MY comes in? Hood 1st, licence brackets 2nd.

Does anyone else have issues where the locking screw just doesn't come off? It feels like it's stripped.
Wild ass idea but...
Why not just make a vinyl print of your front plate and stick it to the front like a wrap? Maybe not "totally" legal but better than no plate at all.
Side note, wonder if/when people will start making vinyl front stickers to give our cars a "face"? Seems as though that area of vehicular space is begging for something to give this blank spot an identity...

Great Design just way over priced. Over $100 for a plate holder! That goes for the competition too thats similar in price.
Promoting products you got for free...yeah such an unbiased review. Interesting how this new plate holder is following the same concept of the SnapPlate. The SnapPlate is still better yet you don't like that product but you're gloating over this one. Oh wait, because you got this one free. SMH
Funny. I did get it for free but I'm Paying to mail it back to Tony as I don't need it in NC. Yes the Snap plate is nice but it grabs on to the grill. This grabs behind the top and bottom of the grill where the plastic is stronger, not the thin parts. I have been talking to Tony about this design since before the snap plate came out. Product design takes time to get right and test.
Just to be clear I'm getting nothing from Tony on for this. I'm just helping out a friend. Doing something for free, that might be foreign to some people.
