Hey friends! it’s finally Autumn again in Paris which means writing in cozy cafés, long walks along the Seine, the leaves changing colors and back to art school! In this week’s Fall vlog, I take you guys along with me for a little day in my life in France (people watching, speaking French, wandering the city… ). Normally on Sunday’s I like to take it slow after a busy week, but I have been going through a bit of a difficult time lately so I am making an extra effort to plan out fun activities to do with myself. One way I do this is by being really intentional with my thoughts through daily affirmations when writing in my journal (which I talk to you about in this vlog) or by taking myself on little dates around Paris. I hope that this can inspire you to spend time with yourself and to develop your own rituals and ways to practice self-care! I really love this time of year because it feels so festive and full of transformative energy. Also the city is so beautiful with it’s cobble stoned streets covered in a blanket of orange and gold leaves…it also reminds me of back to school (studio vlogs, painting and working on art coming soon!) I've really been in to this dark academia trend lately so I feel like this video might have a bit of that mood sprinkled in as well ;) haha Anyway, thanks for watching! The tip about being light and positive no matter what circumstances you're in is so important, I live by it. Now I live during a very intense and aggressive war my relatives are fighting in a war, borders are closed and I can't fulfill my dreams, I have the virus but literally every day I wake up so grateful for being alive seeing the sun, being young and creative, having a job, food to eat, a place to rest my head and I carry on knowing that All my dreams are coming true and I'm successful, blessed with a kind heart and pure mind.
I was sipping my coffee, looking out my window, admiring the rainy fall day, thinking to myself how the only thing that would make this moment complete would be to watch a purple palace video. What timing. Your videos bring me so much joy, thank you

I just want you to know, you are a light to me. I'm going thru a really dark time right now, but I'm making progress, and that's, in part, thanks to you. I know if I'm having a particularly rough day, I can come watch some of your videos and your light is infectious. It instantly lifts my mood. Bc of you, I've rediscovered some things I had long forgotten that make me really happy. I've been wearing little clips in my hair, fun earrings, and adding glitter to my makeup. I used to do all of those things when I was a raver in my late teens/early 20's. It's brought back that feeling of love I had for the world back then. I'm almost 40 and to say that I've become jaded is the understatement of the century. Anyway, I didn't mean to write a book, I just wanted to let you know that you embody love, light, and true happiness. Your affirmations are working. :) Much love and I hope you have a great weekend!

I like how you mentioned saying we and treating ourselves like inner children. When I talk to myself I started calling me "mama". So when I'm down and stuff, I pray and I go "mama you're going to be fine".
These kinds of things should be included in self care vids. And there are so many forms of self care, but the ones that also include inner care are the best.

I've been having such a hard time lately with feelings about my future. I am Stefauni, my dream is to be a fashion designer and I have been going to college now for 2 years. Lately I've been practicing aside from schoolwork to improve my skills, and I also started a brand account on Instagram to help myself believe that I will be something someday. Last week I broke down because I am constantly told by my friends that my work is amazing and that one day my dream will come true and to be patient. I couldn't help but tear up while listening to your affirmations, because I relate to them. Thanks for being you, everything your doing for yourself is really great.

I love watching your videos, it helps me feel like I'm still there! One of my favorite things was to walk around with no specific destination and take in the beautiful city, and I also loved going into all the cathedrals that I would stumble upon! Paris est magnifique
Its so happy to see you as such a positive person that only want to good in the world. but I want to share with you something I realized about myself and the law of attraction. I realized that for a long time I didn’t let myself feel pain, sadness, angry. I prevented any small sense of negative emotion because I Thought that will only bring more bad into my life. I felt anxious all the time because I thought all the bad things that happen to me is because I’ve manifested them into my life. That let me feel so guilty all the time because I also faked happiness to myself in the head. And I want to tell you. The law of attraction is a great thing. But if you feel bad, anxious, sad, angry just let yourself feel that, be in the moment, being negative is also good it’s a part of us we should not ignore

This video means so much to me because just yesterday I decided that I would write out this whole never ending “novel” (as you said) to shape my own life in the way I want it to go. Writing things I know about myself, my philosophies, and affirmations to manifest what I hope to be. I just sort of came up with this idea to help myself navigate, and it’s so cool to me to see this video at the exact same time where you were doing a similar thing, as you are a great inspiration to me. Also many of the things you said are very similar to what I am writing! Thank you for sharing!

Paris is so beautiful! Hi from Brussels. I agree about writing our own story, using affirmations, and my favourite film is Groundhog Day. But Titanic was pretty good lol. Here's a good affirmation: "Things are always working out for me." Sometimes we can't see the bigger picture yet, so cultivating faith is so important

I wanted to become an Au Pair this year and actually found a family in Toulouse but unfortunately I chose to cancel the trip due to covid. I thought about maybe trying again next year if the pandemic subsides but with all the Islamophobia going around because of the recent incident, it's getting quite scary. I am a Muslim, and although I rarely wear the headscarf, and when I dont wear it I dont look Muslim (I'm Indonesian) I know I would just be to scared to reveal my religion and I still feel like it's something my host family should know. I'm really starting to doubt my decision but then again I've always wanted to go to Europe after I finish my A Levels.
I think you should follow your heart but I totally get your fears. I hope whatever decision you make, makes you happy🌹
Be proud of who you are everything you attracting is meant for you. Do not doubt what you are doing go after it. Your light will flourish and let those who set boundaries and stereotypes about subside. Go after your goal go to Europe be an Au pair and reach all your goals you deserve it.
