Good morning! A gorgeous scarf & sooo easy! I’ve made lots of scarves, but never an Infinity scarf & I’ve only worked on back loops once for a Mosaic blanket I made last year. Thank you so much! The yarn is so beautiful. Absolutely love it. Love, from the Great State of Oklahoma, USA 🤍
I've made this after following your beginners course. Am really pleased with the result, from complete beginner to a finished, beautiful scarf. Thank you for a brilliant series of tutorials 👏 🙌.
I wanted to thank you for your excellent instructions. Having never done any crocheting before watching and learning from you has really been fun. My family members are laughing at me cause I’m hooked. Constantly referring back to your notes and videos. Looking forward to making some blankets and little critters for my nieces and nephew.
Thank you so much Sigoni. You are an amazing teacher. I went through all your 14 tutorials. You explained them so well. Last lesson was the great. Lovely scarf,I will definitely make it. May God bless you. Looking forward to learn more tutorials from you. Stay blessed 🙌 😇 🙏
Great series. I’ve always followed that if my beginning chain is on the left, then that’s the front side. And place a stitch marker on the front as well. The scarf turned out beautiful.
Your lessons are so helpful and clear. I am so happy I found you! Thank you for these video tutorials. I just finished this scarf thanks to you and I love the yarn and how the finished scarf looks.😊
That’s great! I’m so happy to hear that!! Let me know if you ever have questions in the future. Join the Facebook group if you haven’t already! 😊 facebook.com/groups/thecrochetdybunch/
thank you so much for the class! i am excited to try this yarn now! guess it's another trip to the store! really enjoyed the masterclass Sigoni, thank you for your patience and guidance!
Sigoni, thanks so much for all your help. You are a wonderful teacher! I’m making the infinity scarf now. I find the rows with the back loop only are fairly loose. The rows were you go through the whole stitch look okay. Any suggestions?
Hmm it sounds like your tension may be more loose when crocheting through the back loop. If you've never crocheted through the back loop before, it might feel weird or loose at first but you will get the hang of it. And they also might look loose when you're working that row, but once you move on to the next row they should look more normal, if that makes sense. If you're not far with the scarf, I would create a smaller practice swatch just to get the hang of crocheting through the back loop before making the full project.
Hi. I'm new to crocheting & have just mastered the half double stitch. All the scarf tutorials I'm finding, are using the treble stitch, but I'm just not getting the hang of it yet. Is there a video to make a scarf using a UK half double stitch? Thank you Jo
I finally finished my scarf and joined on the right side by accident…but it is so pretty I don’t even care! Thanks for another easy to follow and awesome pattern! Next is a Halloween bag….
That's okay! It won't make too much of a difference. I'm so glad you love it! Send me a photo or tag me on Instagram so I can see! 😊I can't wait to see your Halloween bags too 🎃
@@SigoniMacaroni started with the pumpkin but I am making all of them to send to some relatives kids since mine are too old to trick-or-treat. These bags could also make a base for adorable Easter baskets!
I’m finally starting the scarf 🧣 Yay! I have a M weight (Feels like butta) & I know I’ll have to add a skein. Which comes out almost perfect with 2 skeins, since I want it two colors. It says I should use a 4mm hook, and I don’t have a 6.5mm, can I use a 5mm or 6mm hook without messing up the amount of yardage? Edit - I found a 6.5mm hook, fyi - it’s bamboo tho 🧐 I’m gonna wait to begin, I’m making this for my youngest granddaughter for Christmas.
Hmm I’m not sure when it comes to yardage. I’ve never actually used Feels Like Butta but I think it’s a lighter medium weight than this yarn. So I’m not sure if that will affect it. The scarf I made has a width of 7 inches. You can try using the 6.5mm hook but it might make your stitches too loose because of this particular yarn being lighter. You could try with a 4.5 or 5mm hook and create your starting chain so that it’s at least 7 1/2 inches and then follow the pattern from there. But you may need more yardage 😕 I’m sorry for the complicated answer. It’s hard to explain through text but now I’m thinking this would make a good video tutorial 🤔
Also can you make a video saying when does chain 2 count as a stitch and when does it not count as a stitch? Because I thought chain 2 becomes a stitch in all crochet projects. If chain 2 does not become a stitch When starting a row Do we crochet in the same stitch as the chain 2? Or Do we crochet in the next space after the chain 2 space? These questions are for all crochet projects.
Hmm I'm not sure Jeanette. I wish I could help more! I believe DK stands for double knitting and that is more of a lightweight #3 yarn. I'm not sure if double wool is the same, but if it's a little bit thicker than DK then it would most likely compare to medium weight yarn
Let’s make a blanket The smallest blanket that there is. And you can teach us how many chains that is and how to change color. That can be one of your videos.
I chained 100 due to the fact that I have smaller yarn because I use 3.0 hook size this will consume my yarn but it's worth it it's for my grandmother and I have to make one for my grandpa mum papa and aunt and gloves for my sisters and scarfs before Christmas this will take all of my yarn sadly but it's gifts ^^ and I'm making a frog. With a birthday hat because my friends birthday is coming up and I will draw a duck with a party hat for my friend as well.
Do you have a pattern for a half double crochet blanket? That's just stripes/blocks of colors? I want to make my nephew a blanket with green blue and purple weight 4 yarn. I know its basically this video just bigger I'm just so new I need a pattern for how many chains/If it's BLO or through both or what/etc.
If you want to make a blanket that has this same texture, just make your starting chain as long as you’d like the width to be and then follow the pattern. The foundation chain doesn’t have to be a certain amount of stitches. I don’t have any hdc blanket patterns (just my Cheaters Gingham one) but I can definitely put it on my list of tutorials to make. But if I can’t get to it in time, just follow what I said above and it will work out the same.
@@SigoniMacaroni thank you! I love your video tutorials! I would have never gotten the rainbow blanket of yours made without it! I cant read patterns yet lmao but that video tutorial helped me understand that pattern and others a little bit more ❤
I’ve followed through your masterclass and completed my infinity scarf. Thank you so much for your sharing and teaching.

Thank you! Yes that’s definitely a good way to look at it too and smart to mark the front side.
i actually had two skeins of this yarn in color stargaze that i got at hobby lobby on clearance for 2.50! i'm so excited to try this pattern!

The Masterclass workbook that I downloaded to Googledocs seems blank about 3/4 way through so I can't see the pattern for this scarf.
