Just want to say how refreshing it is to hear you guys talk about budgets and needing to make choices to save costs. So many Disney vloggers seem to have unlimited budgets to go to Disney over and over, while I'm saving for years to go for the first time - so thank you for normalising it!

I think your food budget sounds realistic. Try sharing your meals with Barney instead of ordering a separate kids meal for him. I noticed with my toddlers, they were so over stimulated that they didn’t have the attention span to eat a whole meal- just lots of snacking!

If you have suitcase space left, I took bottles water from B&M in my suitcase over with me. Lasted the whole 13 days for us. Was perfect and something not enough people do! I’d say $100 per day will be fine.

I was glad to hear you're going to take Barney on attractions geared more toward little ones. Small World, Dumbo, the Carousel, Nemo, Journey into Imagination, Three Caballeros, and Frozen are some that he'll probably love as well as all the shows at the different parks. It will be a highlight of the vlogs to see the magic at WDW through his eyes. We'll be there Thanksgiving week too.
Rider swap is very easy.. but I haven’t used it since they took away the free fast passes.. then it was great as someone used a fast pass then we got a rider swap. Which meant you could get to the front in the fast pass lane. So super easy and effective way to double your fast passes. So I would prob use it with lightning lane! So you’ll effectively get two for the price of one!

Please do a pack with me video and show the snacks you are taking - we are going in the New year and I'm collecting up snacks at present like noodles, breakfast bars etc just to save a penny or two and also in case the kids decide to be picky-eaters ....I need inspiration 😆

Hi guys iam just back and I’m the same as you it’s been nearly 2 years since we were there, but did notice it is so much more expensive so food did seem a lot more , so defo if you can go to Walmart they have little mickey lunchables with fruit and crackers for snacks, I bought over with me the metal bottles that you can fill with water from the refillable stations and its free and it keeps the water nice and cold, and you can bring the little pocket juice juices the favour the water , hope you have a ball 😊

We go in 2 days, there is me, husband and 2 almost 2 year olds and we have also budgeted $100 a day for food! So I’d say along the right lines (i hope)

I guess if you go to universal you could include islands of adventure for Barney as there’s more for him there. That may be a compromise.
Is Splash mountain open at this time of year? I thought they often close it during the colder months? I haven’t checked though so don’t take my word for it! 🦖
