We stayed at French Quarter and it was the best experience ever.. Riverside is more walking but does have better dining.. however FQ just has a better vibe and BEIGNETS!!
You all have to be getting really excited for your trip. We are from Wisconsin, US and love watching your channel. We hope that life has settled down for you a bit and you are enjoying a little more freedom after the sale. Safe travels!
We stayed a Riverside in April last year and French Quarter in October. Out of the 2 resorts, we loved FQ. Riverside is nice and we would stay there again but we would request a room in Magnolia Bends area. Our room was quite far from the centre of the resort, Alligator Bayou (I think) and in the middle of wooded areas/swamps. Signage at the resort is very confusing as the signs point you in the wrong direction 😂. FQ - smaller than Riverside and just a good vibe. Our room was just outside the boat docks to Disney Springs so perfect location. I bet you are looking forward to your October trip!!. We have just booked that exact cruise for October 2024 so can't wait to see that series of vlogs. We have also booked POP for the 2 days before our cruise and hopefully AK for 6 nights after. We have 68 days (not that we are counting!!) until our next trip. First DVC stay at Riviera...can't wait. Hope you all have a lovely week. Take care xx
Thats so much that alot of great info there. We are definitely looking at po now and fq has been getting some serious love . We are getting excited for our next trip and you guys must be too. Not long now x
I could watch you talk about Disney and Florida for hours- sending lots of love and thanks for some of my favourite Disney content. I have never made to Florida but watching your videos brings me close to the action! X
We had our honeymoon at French quarter last year and it was our favourite resort, it’s one of the smaller resorts which meant you had an amazing personal experience with the cast member there and it was the most convenient for transport, less people to get on the bus and a boat to Disney springs
I started watching your channel after seeing you on Adams channel, and what a lovely family you are. I have had a stay at OKW nice spacious rooms not only can you get the boat to Disney Springs but their is a walkway somewhere near the top of the resort, it follows the river then cuts across a golf course very peaceful takes about 15-20 mins. I have also had a stay at Saratoga Springs again nice size rooms and next door to Disney Springs so you will be able to walk there anytime you like. Cheers Ears!
Aww thanks so much and so glad you found us especially through lovely Adam. Old Key West is our fave but really excited to revisit saratoga. Hope you're having a great week
That’s a super exciting October trip you’ve got planned ! And spot on with the laundry facilities towards the end 👌 And bless you for the shout out. Xx
Highly recommend Port Orleans Riverside! It's such a relaxing and scenic resort. Great jazzy vibes and love the foodcourt + Pool area. It's also fun to catch the boat down to Disney Springs :)
Love watching your videos and seeing a glimpse into your lives and love for Disney! Have fun on your trip!!! I’ll be at the parks for a race around that time.
Better late than never 😁 Even with all the DVC talk, it was great to see your resounding "Yes" to the POP Century question. We have literally just got home today after an amazing 2 weeks at POP - mainly because you guys raved about it. So thank you so much for sharing your trips and giving us the confidence to try new things.
We have stayed at Riverside multiple times (even when it was Dixie landings). Highly recommend! Especially as you love Disney Springs, the boat ride is convenient and peaceful. Super fun listening to you chatting all things Disney! I am staying in Pop Century in October, will keep my eyes peeled for you!
Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter are wonderful…both have their own perks but I prefer FQ for the quaintness and the Mickey beignets! Also don’t sleep on Coronado tower…excellent moderate resort IMO. You will love the cruise! Fav vacay ever for this family! Hope we run into you in the parks in Oct!
You'll be fine in one room on your cruise. Because they are quite expensive we've stayed with 5, 3 adults and 2 kids in one room. With the split bathrooms and the Disney ships' rooms spaciousness (for a cruise) You'll be just fine. The stewards also do a great job with keeping the rooms very tidy. Enjoy your cruise!
Definitely Port Orleans Riverside for me, as we don’t have kids I love the quiet pools, in Alligator Bayou, some lovely trees for shade and a chill way to start or end the day! Also I prefer the food court at Riverside as it’s bigger so more choice.
ohhh relationships are going to be tested on that cruise hahaha, sounds like a great trip, hope you guys have a great time, im xounting down the days till im back to disney in january
We’d love to try Port Orleans Riverside too! And wilderness lodge! Both have such chill vibes! Disney Paris id recommended for a ‘cheap’ but immersive experience, also recommend one of the smaller hotels such as Hotel Cheyenne (fave) or Santa Fe, walkable to the parks but much smaller and quieter so feels more chill. California is also amazing, super underrated, you can stay on Harbour Boulevard, lots of lovely hotels and walk to the parks. It’s only an extra hour on the flight compared to Florida x
Black Olives? What an absolute weirdo. I think I remember the arcade place on I-Drive too I’ll see if I can dig out a pic. I think you guys would prefer Riverside it seems quite chilled compared to French Quarter. Although I think both are wonderful. 🖤
For our 20th wedding anniversary, my husband and I are staying 1 night at Pop and then we're renting DVC points and staying at Saratoga Springs for 8 nights! Not many people talk about Saratoga so I'll be curious and will look forward to your videos! Our trip is at the end of January and we are so excited!!
Loved this vlog, great to catch up with you all and look forward to the next trip ❤ also love your weekend vlogs so hopefully we will get more of those ❤ lots of love to you all xx
Great vlog guys!! I would HIGHLY recommend Port Oreleans Riverside…We stayed there in 2018 when we got married and it was just incredible. So relaxing and the convenience of the boat to DS is brilliant. French Quarter is also lovely. You can get there on the boat too it’s just next door! Riverside is great if you want a little more peace and quiet. FQ is great if you have small children that need a bit more entertainingxx
We loved port Orleans riverside back in 2019, did a week a pop century in may this year loved that as well, and we are so lucky that we have a few days at French quarter in October for mickeys hallowe'en party, did cabana bay at universal for last Xmas as well 😀
My husband and I honeymooned at Port Orleans French Quarter and absolutely loved it. It’s a smaller resort and very quiet. It was beautiful. Can’t wait for your Oct trip! Sounds like it will be a blast!
We have been on two cruises this year with our 18 and 16 yrs olds, shared a room, its absolutely fine, and loved cruising, we actually have three more booked!!!😅
Well this was just lovely! First, to Luke's point that every trip needs a Tracy...I think I'm a Tracy. I'm all about the organization and laundry. 🙂 Keith - I love that you want to do a solo trip, and look forward to updates. I've travelled with various combos of family, but have done several solo trips in the last few years and LOVE them! Also, I think your family would love Port Orleans Riverside, since you enjoy OKW so much. POR has gorgeous landscaping and is great for taking peaceful walks, and the boat to Disney Springs is fantastic. Looking forward to more Disney vlogs in the not-too-distant future! ❤
Enjoying your Q & A! Recently come back from Port Orleans French Quarter and loved it! Give it a try, the vibe is great and a peaceful resort. Hoping you’re all keeping well x
Loved this home vlog. Not to be maudlin, but your upbeat, funny home vlogs during lock down days helped us get through the pandemic. Try one of the monorail resorts. We’ve done them all more than once. Contemporary, Poly and GF. It’s heaven to be able to walk back and forth to the MK. And easily hop on monorail to Epcot. Thank you Cheers Ears family. 🤗❤️🌈
Hi! Love your vlogs! You should definitely stay at Port Orleans Riverside, it’s a GORGEOUS resort! PO French Quarter is a sister resort to PO Riverside and you’re free to share the amenities at both. I love both resorts but my heart will always be with POFQ. The jazzy vibes and cobbled streets with gas lights are more to my taste and its compact size ultimately wins out. Plus the beignets! 🤤 After a full day in the parks the last thing I want to do is walk 10 minutes to my room or to the main building to refill my mug or grab food. Having said that, Riverside is by far one of my favorite resorts to walk around in. It’s so peaceful and serene. It’s a great place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time at the resort vs. visiting the parks. The boat to Disney Springs is lovely and such a nice amenity to have if you want to spend time shopping or dining. Looking forward to your next vlog series! 😍
Awe thanks so much. Yep we are definitely sold on the resort now. We've had so many lovely comments on it. Will definitely be a top consideration for our next booking. Thanks so much for the info. Hope you're having a great week x
Another great vlog! All three of us were on the edge of our seats when you said you were visiting in October! We've just missed you a few times now and our daughter just loves you all so she'll definitely be keeping an eye out for you!!! We were laughing along with all your fave vloggers as your list is so similar to ours!!! We love Molly and Alan from Mammoth Club! Looking forward to your October vlogs to tame the Orlando blues between our Halloween and Mardis Gras trips! Have a great week! Looking forward to next weeks vlog already!😊
Aww thanks so much we are very excited for October. Love how we have the same taste in vloggers its all we seem to watch. Hope you guys are all having a great week x
In answer to your question as to whether Riverside or French Quarter is best….FQ is absolutely wonderful. Tiny (for Disney) and quaint. Polished cobble roads with French road names. Horse and carriage rides. Mardi Gras themed. We’ve been 3 times and it’s just the most beautiful resort. Love you guys and your vlogs!!! Go over in Feb! We’ll have a drink with you! (Our home resort of Riviera too and we’re there in Feb!) x
I agree Molly at Mamouth Club helped me get up to speed on Genie+ etc. before my first trip this year in 17yrs. Rob at Ear Scouts also makes really clear videos all around Genie+.
Hi guys enjoyed this one. I am a regular Tampa airport user myself from the UK. It seems a lot quicker to get through than mco but the road journey to Orlando is much quicker at weekends than during the week. I believe that some of the tumbling monkeys at the lion king show are ex Us Olympic team members so Luke may have to up his training to join!. Chris from Worcester
🤣🤣🤣 I've told Luke and he reckons he's still a cert. Yep we love tpa and I think its probably a similar time from landing to the resort. Hope you have a great week
@@CheersEars had such a brilliant trip! We all needed it as my dad has cancer and we list my uncle with it 3 weeks before we went so it really gave us a wee break from it all
Great trip plans to look forward to! Cruisers find magnetic hooks super helpful to increase storage space as most walls are metal. Brogran has great tips for cruise storage. A magnet for the door will make it more recognizable. Have fun
Hugely recommend Anaheim, I loved it although you can do it all in about 2 days but there’s so many other parks nearby in Southern California to fill out the trip as well as Los Angeles nearby!
Luke, in answer to your question which port orleans is the best, french quarter would be my fave, its the smallest resort, really chill, theming is second to none, grown up jazz bar, riverside is bigger but with table service restaurant so depending on needs really. Have a look round both but french quarter for me
Awesome Loved all the answers I loved my Disney cruise on the Dream in 2019 The Wish looks amazing. Have a great time. I'll be at Disney the first week of November
Our first trip was in 2000.. Race rock cafe was awesome as a motocross fanatic .. Did you know dave and busters is where race rock cafe is now? And the big foot 4x4 car is at old town kissimmee.
You are all going to really enjoy the villa at Saratoga! Stayed in the DVC villas the last two trips (rented points). Try to request the Congress Park building; it it the one right next to Disney Springs.
I think they should keep the Star Wars Hotel and Restaurant (with also some normal Disney meal options), but take away the costly role play aspect away. You can still dress up, as you can still walk around outside to get a more engrossed experience. 💫 ❤
Love all your vlogs and this extra info on you all is brilliant and back in the day absolutely loved Race Rock and so impressed with Subway before they were in UK ❤👍
I never realized Tracy and I were so much alike. Even down to our favorite rides. Luke is spot on saying every trip needs a Tracy. If you don't have the calm, organized, in the background person , the day or the entire trip can get away from you and you will miss out on lots of the fun. Also, I agree with Keith that Riviera does not feel like Disney to me. Daisy is right too, I don't like the gray exterior either. It's a more formal vibe. It seems very out of place in the Disney bubble. Luke and I agree on Port Orleans French Quarter. I prefer it over Riverside. It has beautiful grounds, but needs a true sit down restaurant and some room updating. It has a great pool and only 1 bus stop unlike Riverside that has several, which is hard to take after a long day. The boat ride to Disney Springs is fantastic. There is ALOT of walking if you are in one of the Port Orleans Riverside rooms that is in the back. Can't wait for your next trip. Love your family!
Thanks Pattie and I'm with you ild be lost without Tracey, not just on Disney trips too. Sounds like we have a similar vibe to you. We're definitely going to take a look at port Orleans when we book next . Hope you're having a great week x
I'm a big fan of Duck, also. Haven't tried the duck at Morimotos yet, but the roasted duck at Yak and Yeti's in Animal kingdom is my fav meal in all of AK. Just something to add to your list on your next Holiday.
I enjoyed it so.. But if the kids get too busy in life.. I would hope you both would continue to entertain us with your Disney/Universal adventures. Perhaps travel to all Disneyland Parks in the world.. 🙏❤
Mammoth clubs Molly mcAwesome (her words lol) is amazing - if you haven’t watched them her vlogs with husband where they play rock paper scissors to decide who will choose elements of a meal around the various parks are hilarious - she always loses!!!
I was a fan of her when with all ears but now she has more freedom she’s even better and I’m in awe of her Disney knowledge Still working my way through your back catalogue - just about up to Xmas 2nd lockdown - inspiring to watch you all just living your lives …….. and hilarious at times 👍😘
@@CheersEars we are thanks, specially as this time next Sunday we'll be on our way to heathrow to fly to Orlando on the Tuesday whoop! . Hope you are having a nice weekend ☺️
Your vlogs make me so happy! I have health issues, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and breathing issues making travel very hard on me. I traveled to both Disneyland and Disney World every year from age 6 to around 20. I miss it so much but your videos take me there all over again. Your joy and fun are contagious. I cannot way for your October adventures and will be glued to my screen waiting for each and every video. You are truly a joy to watch. Thank you for all of your hard work. Much love from Cleveland, Ohio❣
What a wonderful family dynamic and the sharing of Disney experiences was excellent, I should say I really enjoyed the local outings (Longleat House etc) so consider them in the mix? All the best, Kevin
Thanks so much Kevin. We would love to do more uk days out . It's just so busy.and getting us all together is proving difficult. Hope you're having a great week mate
We're going to Disney World for the first time in October. You guys and Adam and Molly inspired us to do this even though it has been a long long dream of mine to go to Disney World one day. Warm greetings from Germany ♥
We stayed at French Quarter and it was the best experience ever.. Riverside is more walking but does have better dining.. however FQ just has a better vibe and BEIGNETS!!
Cheers Andy. FQ has been getting alot of love on here. Hope you're having a great week mate
The magic is absolutely real. Thank you Luke!!
We loved Riverside port Orleans, boat to disney springs was brilliant, movie under the stars, fire pit, great pool. Love it ❤
Sounds right up our street. Can't wait to try it

LOVED Race Rock my eldest got to experience it , my youngest didn't .. The big truck out the back my boy had his picture taken in the wheel !

Oh wow. Hope you had the most amazing time. Also hope the Disney blues are kinda OK.

Kind of sad I’ll be missing y’all by two months! I’m heading back in August 2024. Can’t wait to see y’all’s cruise vlogs though. So excited for y’all!
Hey Kimberly never mind. Hope you have an amazing time x
Aww thanks Debbie I'm a little worried but that info definitely helps x

Hugely recommend Anaheim, I loved it although you can do it all in about 2 days but there’s so many other parks nearby in Southern California to fill out the trip as well as Los Angeles nearby!
Definitely on the list mate
Luke, in answer to your question which port orleans is the best, french quarter would be my fave, its the smallest resort, really chill, theming is second to none, grown up jazz bar, riverside is bigger but with table service restaurant so depending on needs really. Have a look round both but french quarter for me
Thanks so much. Fq us running away with it. Definitely a consider
ation for our next booking
Awesome
Loved all the answers
I loved my Disney cruise on the Dream in 2019
The Wish looks amazing. Have a great time. I'll be at Disney the first week of November
Thanks so much we are all getting very excited
We’ll be there from the 3rd November so we might see you there!
See you in Starbucks xx
Our first trip was in 2000.. Race rock cafe was awesome as a motocross fanatic ..
Did you know dave and busters is where race rock cafe is now? And the big foot 4x4 car is at old town kissimmee.
Oh wow I had no idea. I think we need to take a trip to dave and busters. Never been there
You are all going to really enjoy the villa at Saratoga! Stayed in the DVC villas the last two trips (rented points). Try to request the Congress Park building; it it the one right next to Disney Springs.
Thanks for the tip Allan will put a request in this week
Totally spun out in the first 2 mins😳 I thought you filmed this in my living room 😮 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Awww was great to watch this. Your next trip sounds amazing.
Cannot wait
I think they should keep the Star Wars Hotel and Restaurant (with also some normal Disney meal options), but take away the costly role play aspect away. You can still dress up, as you can still walk around outside to get a more engrossed experience. 💫 ❤
100% it'll be such a waste if the just close it down. What a shame
How lovely! We might see you guys in October then! We are doing dcl Southampton to NY and then fly to Florida for the Halloween season.
Oh wow that sounds amazing
@@CheersEars we are really looking forward to it!
Loved this - we look forward to seeing the vlogs from the October trip. Great content as always CE team :) Dave
Forgot to day I hope you enjoy the disney cruise - I've done the 4 night one twice but not on the bigger ships buy still loved it
Aww thanks Dave hope you're all good
Love all your vlogs and this extra info on you all is brilliant and back in the day absolutely loved Race Rock and so impressed with Subway before they were in UK ❤👍
Thanks Suzanne. We absolutely loved race rock
I need more VIDSSSSSS
French Quarter. Smaller, everything is close, very calm and quiet.
Getting so much love for fq xx
French quarter is out favourite, it's got such a lovely small feel, and the food court is nicer than Riverside, ypu can walk between both xx
Fq is getting some serious love at the moment. Definitely a consideration for booking our next trip xx
Ooh… I’m at Pop in October with my three! Will say ‘hi’ if we see you 👋🏼
Say hi if you see us x
Great news can’t wait for the Oct trip 🏰 🛥️
Thanks we can't wait x
"Nardo grey".... the petrol head in luke made a subtle appearance there 😉
🤣🤣🤣 news incoming re that colour
I'll keep my eye out on the tracks for a nardo grey mx5 in the future then 😉
I also miss Race Rock! Such a cool place 🏎 🛻 🚛
Some core memories we made there for sure
I'm a big fan of Duck, also. Haven't tried the duck at Morimotos yet, but the roasted duck at Yak and Yeti's in Animal kingdom is my fav meal in all of AK. Just something to add to your list on your next Holiday.
Cheers Allan we'll definitely check that out on our next visit mate
French Quarter is our absolute favorite.😊
Fq is getting some serious love on here atm x
I enjoyed it so.. But if the kids get too busy in life.. I would hope you both would continue to entertain us with your Disney/Universal adventures. Perhaps travel to all Disneyland Parks in the world.. 🙏❤
That's the plan!
Didn’t know how else to reach out to you
Just seen the footage of Luke’s recent racing contretemps
Hope you’re ALL doing ok
Hugs 😘
Aww thanks Graham. Yep luke got pushed into a barrier but is.fine. A bit sad but all OK.
@@CheersEars good to know he’s ok 👍
Saratoga is 100% better than OKW 🎉
French Quarter has beignets so has to be the winner over Riverside! 🥳
Ooh a bold claim there. We stayed at saratoga a long time ago so it'll be interesting to have a recent comparison. Hope you have a great week
We stay at Pop, in October too 😄
You'll love it. We can wait
Can't
Love you guys! Hope you do Horror nights!
Cheers Terry. We are planning to mate
Lovely to see you lovely lot. Did you receive the Disney eye masks for the lovely ladies I sent? X
Hey Donna they did !!! And thanks so much xxx
@@CheersEars 🩷
Mammoth clubs Molly mcAwesome (her words lol) is amazing - if you haven’t watched them her vlogs with husband where they play rock paper scissors to decide who will choose elements of a meal around the various parks are hilarious - she always loses!!!
I definitely need to check them out. Tracey is a big fan now xx
I was a fan of her when with all ears but now she has more freedom she’s even better and I’m in awe of her Disney knowledge
Still working my way through your back catalogue - just about up to Xmas 2nd lockdown - inspiring to watch you all just living your lives …….. and hilarious at times 👍😘
Race rock, there’s a blast from the past!
What a place
French quarter is the better one . Its lovely
That's what all the cool kids are saying. It's on the list for sure. Hope you're having a great weekend
Hey Sue thanks so much for your lovely comment. So glad the videos take you back to the magic. Hope you're have a lovely week. Take care x
Done Polynesian - overrated. Done riverside and French quarter - nice. Beach club - everyday and twice on Sundays
Ooh would love to try beach club
amazin
🥰
Hi... Guy's
Luke grab yourself a Turkey leg you wont regret it. Had one at Epcot with a 10min sit down. Messy yes but well worth it .
🤣🤣🤣 he'll make a proper mess
💜💙👍
Life doesn’t get better than sitting down with yer 3D glasses watching Captain EO chompin on a big turkey leg
Hi Jacob 🤣🤣
We're going to Disney World for the first time in October. You guys and Adam and Molly inspired us to do this even though it has been a long long dream of mine to go to Disney World one day. Warm greetings from Germany ♥
Oh wow. You must be so excited. There's nothing quite like a first trip. X
Flippers is still a thing
That's awesome
Turkey legs are disgusting. We had one once-yuck
They make me feel super greasy
