How to Wire 3rd Gen Ram Tow Mirrors

Finally got around to wiring my tow mirrors and really is nice and convenient for night time! This is just the process and route that I took because there are different ways to do it! I used the amber side marker lights as running lights but will show the turn signal wire colors and dome light as well. The plastic electrical connector ended up giving me issues from previous work so do as I say not as I do all the time and SOLDER! Also found out there is a way to run wires through OEM door boot but oh well! Hope this helps! Any questions let me know! Instagram build @Colts24vCummins if youre interested!

If you pull the black and white connector, you can snake the wires between the connectors inside the main rubber block.

Thanks buddy! I got a later 3rd gen grill on eBay in the long horn style and then mounted the letters myself! Then i just painted a later 3rd gen bumper to match the grill and mounted it up! Any questions just let me know!

That bolt head is a 10mm if you don’t have a torx head

hey i’m late to the video but i tapped the same yellow/ baby blue wire for the puddle lights. it turns on with the dome lights but when the interior lights turn off the puddle lights dim instead of turning off completely. anyone else noticed this issue/ has an idea for a fix?

Hey man! I also have an 04 Ram with the infinity audio system.. Is it difficult to bypass the factory amp ? I seen that you had aftermarket kickers an a head unit

Thanks man appreciate that! They're the Spyder Fiber Optics headlights that came with a 3 year warranty and have have pretty good light output! Im about to upgrade to LED low beams soon!

Heat Shrink tubing with adhesive will help keep everything together and looks better than tape
