Why People Can’t Retire by 65

People want to retire by 65 because it’s the magic age that is promoted. Age 65 is also when Medicare kicks in and they probably won’t need to pay for outside healthcare. Some people have bad habits and might not feel as secure when they do retire at 65. In this video, I share five bad habits that blow through retirement savings.

I would add don't buy things that have ongoing costs.
Example buying a boat.
You may have the money to buy the boat but do you have the money each year for the marina, fuel, insurance, etc,

More like stop wasting money buying a new car every 3 years or keeping up with the Joneses and you can retire early.

Some retirees blow their money buy getting a young girlfriend overseas and buying her things like a new car or house under her name.
