Dwell angle tester works perfectly on this type of transistorised ignition system, and you can set the required dwell angle more accurately compare to setting the air gap using a filler guage.( Dwell angle should read 68-70%)
My 280SEL 4.5 will do about 110 on the freeway. It pulls what I think is hard for the time. I haven’t touched any of this and don’t know if I need to… it looks like three different ways to control idol?

I reckon I can do this to my '77 350 SLC also eh? Think it takes the same engine. Would've loved an AFTER video of it starting up
