Great song and not played on the radio much here in the states,... giant hit in Ireland and Europe! Van Morrison is an incredible talent and you guys did a great version!
Easily the best cover of "Wavelength" that I've ever heard. Not an easy number to cover live - trust me, as I've butchered it a few times. This one stays true to the studio, too, which is raising the stakes. Good job all around, lead guitar (dead on!), lead vocals, backup vocals, piano ~ the entire band is everywhere they're supposed to be. You got yourself a boy.
these guys have more respect for the original versions than van himself...one complaint i have about van is he messes about too much with the arrangements that we have come to love, maybe van should employ this group to back him in concerts.
@@foghornsan i've got plenty of respect for vm not only as a musician but also as a producer, which he was on this tune, i'm just saying maybe he should have a bit more respect for himself as the producer of 40 odd years ago, when he was in his prime, we get very few chances to see his live shows here in australia, and i for one would like to hear the arrangements i know...at least these guys are obviously of the same mind

Have some respect for the musician Van Morrison who is not a slave to convention, rather an inventor of superb performances.

You are way off base. They're good but can't touch Van Morrison Vocally. I suggest you get your ears checked.
When freed of Van's massive ego, we get a killer band.
