I think being in the same group with wonyoung is the bestest thing to happen to leeseo because she’s learning from one of the most iconic manknae’s in kpop and having the space to grow into her voice and person and not having to carry the load…. Like how wonyoung did with Sakura.
I’m not alone in biasing half the group! Yay. But lmao big same, Yujin firmly up there with Rei and Liz (and every so often Gaeul) randomly spinning a wheel to see who’s waiting in the wings to get me in my feelings. They are all so adorable and I want all the success for them.
True, Leeseo oozing with talent and that potential. She reminds me of Wonyoung when I noticed her as a standout in Nekkoya which made me watch her fancam and further proven in her 'Wings' performance especially in 'very3x' of how much star power and potential she has. I also see that in Leeseo and I dare say even more.
We saw hints of this Yujin back when she wanted to perform Rumor's original choreo with the adult members before it was toned down, or when she owned Sequence. I'd say, "where did our little girl go, " but Yujin has always had this more mature side to her even back on Produce. Sometimes Leeseo looks like she is following in Yoojin's footsteps and we are going to blink and a few years from now we will joke about how Yujin "corrupted" our sweet little maknae like Nayeon doing a lap dance on Tzuyu while trying to flirt with Jeongyeon. Seriously though, Yujin's maturation as a performer is really amazing. Wonyoung may get more attention from the general public, but Yujin really is an ace presence in this group with her dancing and singing skills, and her stage presence. Also, we are seeing development among the less experienced members too as they get more confident with more performances and appearances.
Gaeul was my bias from the very beginning, but then Rei and Liz aka the most adorable couple just hand-in-hand bulldozed their way to becoming my joined bias. Clearly this is Gaeul's revenge on me for demoting her to bias wrecker.
I said this in some other video Leeseo has Wonyoung center vibes and Yujin talent vibes. Not to say Wonyoung isn't talented btw.. 2 years ago I was scared by Yujin's progression but Leeseo tops that for me.. Her vocals sound so young because of her age but so mature in terms of her ability.
that's one of the things I love about Itzy is the live singing same with bp they might not always sound perfect but they're at least trying. I wish at least like Itzy did with not shy, do a live vocals dance practice; I think more groups should do that. ozone did the same thing rarely sang live while dancing I know they can sing but I want to see u actually trying it live once it's not going to make or break my stan, but I wish they did it still
