Worst thing about getting ascended character before getting the standard at champed level is that the ascended one is the auto deposit when you have a cover to build up your normal one
Had this problem with nightcrawler as well... get a cover and click to boost the standard auto loaded to ascended one not regular. I have a couple of work around but very fru as treating when you het that 1st cover for a colour and it gets swallowed up by the ascended.
I've done that twice now... i understand. Both times, I contacted customer support, and they got me my ascended character back ready to roster. Of which I was super careful not to do that again. Lol So, reach out... see if they can help you! :)
Wow, I already wrote the quests off as being impossible. The timing of the vault and the missions was not effective at tempting me to buy, or gamble, for that character. I don't know what happened but I lost to Black Panther cause his special tiles just went crazy. So I basically roided up with boosts and just hit for more damage. Maybe I should have raised the yellow for all the help the black did. I definitely don't expect to deny the A.I. of their ap, they always find a way.
Oooo, just 2 covers? That's a bit hard. Well, here's what I'd do in your shoes... First. I'd ask myself if I really want that LT enough to change my leveling priorities for a few days. If so, then I'd proceed to step 2. Step 2... favorite MBaku and no other 4*. Step 3... play as normal for a few days. Get pulls, play MPQ as normal, get those shards. And save your ISO too. Step 4... within a few days you should have enough shards for at least 1 more cover for MBaku, and ISO to level him. Hopefully more than just 1 cover. Step 5... try again, with damage boosts... and I'm talking +all damage, +red/yellow damage, and either +green/black damage or +crit damage for the last boost. Give it your all! I know it's just one LT, but each one counts, and you're gonna want MBaku up eventually like every other 4*... doesn't hurt to put in a little extra work on him for this week. ;)
I'm doing this with a lvl 250 MBaku and it's impossible. Even though he has more HP than Black Panther, once BP gets his kinetic shield rolling, I can barely damage him and when he pulls out his big attack, in combination with way too many attack tiles, it's a death spiral for the former Man-Ape. (when is he getting his comics-accurate outfit??? 🙂
Might wanna focus on eliminating it yourself. It only does the damage when HE matches them away... but if you dismantle them yourself, you won't have to worry about him doing it to you. Obviously focusing on red and yellow is easy, because those are your colors, and that'll limit the opponents moves. But blue will probably happen whether you want it to or not. Just gotta get rid of his stuff yourself, and not leave them for him to play with. Also, have you used all your damage boosts? Could make a big difference if you have tried it yet.

Yeah, I easily write off MBakus black as his worst. Sure, it's not horrible, but it's not as good as his yellow or even close to compared to his red.
Do you think that you can beat this? Only 2 covers of red for M'Buku. Sucks. I get shredded.
