Yesterday, I saw a video about how when a student is rewarded for getting good grades all the time, they quickly stagnate and only work toward getting good grades for work that doesn't challenge them -- so they stop growing. The students that are rewarded for good effort, on the other hand goes through life expecting to persevere until they get it right. So they will take on challenges and do not fear failure. If you are still going to tackle your shirt project, then it is not a fail. It is just a snapshot in time detailing your persistence.

@@JenRestyleFashion I didn't think you would give up. You could not be such a prolific creator, stylist, designer if you had the habit of giving up when things get tough. It seems somewhere, early in your life you learned the your effort pays off and expands you.

Well, I had a good laugh 😂 Sometimes sewing projects just don't turn out the way we pictured in our mind. You have done some incredible upcycles. Thanks for letting us see that even with all your experience that ideas just don't always work out.

I loved how excited you were about showing us your thrift finds. I'm exactly the same when I find great stuff. 2 weeks ago, I found a 70's camel short winter outer coat. So warm, so classic, perfect condition. I was ecstatic.

@@mimineal-nelson4805 LOL!! 😂 at the time was was party of a study with northwestern hospital and I had to wear a Fitbit for a year. My Garmin I use for running and sometimes I just forget to take it off. My Apple Watch is my regular day to day. These days I only wear my Apple Watch
