I've just binged watched your story and I'm quite stunned at your achievements. I'm sure that there are plenty of woodworkers who have gasped and had to look away at some of your processes, and I include myself there BUT and it's a big but, you've built a bloody boat, not just a dinghy, not just one hull but a 46' cat!! Hats off to you, keep on going and you'll soon be in the salt spray. Looking forward to the next episode!
You need to create a playlist of the build, so that interested people can watch from the beginning... (TH-cam algorithms doesn´t always recommend the "next" video in chronological order...
Overkill, Festool are way to expensive, especially if you're not a professional. DeWalt or Makita are plenty good enough. Can you imagine a Festool being coated in epoxy?
This has to be hands down the most chilled down to earth boat build ever published online.
luv your work mate, both boat and video.
Looking good! A bit jealous of your weather
Good tunes.Good boat.Peace love dove beads bells incence burners.
Masterful Work.....

Too bad you are not still in Cali. I have some African Mohogany that would be amazing for that decking you need.

"Yeah look at that, I'm happy how it turned out" 😆😆😆
4:28 good advice for life
You should set the angle of the router for the slanted edges
Hey would you mind in the next episode tell us how many gallons of epoxy you have used so far??? I would guess around 75 gallons ??
3 barrels (55 gal each)
@@matiki-buildingatiki46cata97 Holly cow that's alot of epoxy ! 46ft boat yeah now I see it! Man that's alot of cash !
@@shoresharp8349 I think it can be done with less, especially in the beginning there was some waste.
You should run a poll, winner gets a lump of discarded epoxy!

I am a carpenter and woodworker. Nice job. Check out acorn to arabella on TH-cam to see woodworking that blows my mind.
You should check out Festool. The FerrariBentley of woodworking tools...
