It's a good big mum. With this engine it's more destinate to realistic flight, than an acrobatic competition. It very impressive in the sky like scale 1. For a movie it's perfect. Good job Martin !!!!
Beautiful Pitts and very good flying. I started flying in the early 90's and loved it. I had 32 models 11 radios and 4 jets. I was really into it. And around mid 2000's I lost interest and started giving the easy flying planes away to help friends. And then I moved and gave away mostly all but 8 planes and 3 radios. I should have just sold them. I miss flying but have no where to fly except join a club for $150 a year plus have to get my AMA insurance again. 😩
Beautiful, Great piloting Martin. Are those wings based on the ones designed by Eddie Saurenman ? Can we purchase the plans, canopy, cowl, wheelpants, centre carbane, wing carbines, flying wires. Regards, Stefan and Annette Queensland Australia
@@bramrc1246 of course... usually, one holds opposite aileron to stop the torque roll.... an intentional input from a pilot to stop the roll would have likely been as much ail deflection as is needed to stop the roll... a gyro's deflection is gain dependent. In this video, the aileron input is against the roll... but only a little deflection, consistent with how a gyro responds if the gains are low... Back to my question: Was this model equipped with a gyro?
I went from flying 3d to my friends pattern plane, and let me tell you, I was shit... Very difficult to keep things clean without looking like an amateur.. Spoiled with unlimited power and control authority on 3d planes..
Loved the sixteen-point roll by-the-way!!
What a flight , i really enjoyed that ..............

Beautiful aircraft! Top-notch flying skills!
That was some nice flying to spectate. Nice slow and precise.
Awesome flying 🔥
Striking Colour scheme, is it based on the G-JPIT built by Richard Goodwin.
Love it ....❤😊
Beautiful aircraft.
VERY VERY NICE!
What a perfect well balanced aircraft just perfect mate very nice 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Absolutely awesome
Epic flying Martin, loved the way she almost looked like a helicopter floating down. Very nice plane as well. 👍🏻
Good flight
Woule be awesome to see this at a non-RC airshow.
Best of show

Lower!!👍👍
What does it weigh, and what motor powers it?. I liked the flight, well done.
Approximately 28kg and powered by a 195cc twin boxer two stroke engine
Can you say if it had a gyro in it? Which One? Beautiful plane!
I dont think it had one, because big planes fly super stable and dont realy need one
@@bramrc1246 12:59 watch the ailerons....
@@bramrc1246 thats a myth
@@mithrandir1313 you dont think
He could do that himself?

Gorgeous - needs a better livery though, Skip Stewart would be proud
Must be nice
That doesn’t look 9’ long which is 50%
Or is the pilot 8’ tall?
It looks about 1/4 scale
irgendwie passt die steile Kabinenhaube nicht so zur linie..
There are men who fly on anything and there are men who are able to fly anything … just missing the pilot in the plane! Goofy would fit!

The 3D stuff gets old in a hurry
I really didn't see anything 3d besides the hovering. Just a lot of really good scale flying.
@@brianscutt6298 Yes, this one wasn’t too bad
Schlechte Abstimmung vom Motor und Luftschraube zu laut und Leistungsverlust
Was only tested three days before the event, next flights will be improved
👍😁
