great insight on using lights to create a direction in the background and changing FX's colours to creat interesting effects. I have a "master scene" where I do something similar, using monk's active tiles with "buttons" outside of the scene to change image, but the pro is that I can just quickly change the picture my party is seeing and the con is that I can't really add many effects like this. however, you inspired me, so I think that I will add a few more conditions to my "buttons" to activate lights and effects with one click, so that I can have many different effects activating and deactivating according to the BG shown. btw, is midjourny still a paywalled thing?
@@dmthimble oh boy. Mhhh, give me a few days and I'll make a video to show you, I'm Building my new living space rn, so I Will Need a bit of time. Thanks for the answer about midjourney. It looks really good compared to what I can make with stable diffusion, but I don't like to pay subscriptions.
Audio balance needs work, i really could not hear you through the music at points. Also consider editing for content, we all know how to enter text into a text field we dont need to see you demonstrate. know what i mean? make bullet points, move through them.
Agree on the audio, but disagree on the step by step nature. It's very helpful to have a walk through that doesn't skip over the "obvious" stuff when you're starting out, as it's handy to just have it there as a bit of a sanity check on if you're doing it right or not.
There are not enough practical showcases of mods. This was great. Keep it up.
Thank you so much for this, this has given me the confidence to mix it up a bit for my players.
great stuff! love this for theatre of the mind scenes
7:40 I didn't know about this. Thanks! great video, but your mic is a little low.
Thank you for the video, great inspiration for what I'm doing.
Awesome video! Just curious - where is your music from? I loved the ambience!
