Great vid again tried to use zigs loads never caught on them and i think you are right it is easier fishing on the bottom 🎣👍
Zigs are easy, I think it’s more comfortable to fish on the bottom. Keep trying them, devastating on their day!

The intermittent screamer of a bite then lifting the rod into nothing seems common place there. Happened to me after I’d turned up at dark and chucked a 20mm pop up coupled with 12mm pop up out on a chod rig to any old bit of water as it was too dark for marker work.
Oh really! The zigs are a god send when fishing blind on there, definitely a weedy venue!
