I grew up with a gas stove, that's the type of stove I learned to cook with. Now I use electric. But I must admit its something about a gas stove just makes the food taste better in my humble opinion.

My mom used bottom round and we called it goulash IS That the SAME maybe you could answer so I could try it . My husband is a chef. I have known him since 2009, yet after almost 11 years watching him cook is still fascinating to me. I met him on match.com. I finally found my prince after a painful divorce. He is such a blessing in my son’s and my life. If you ever have any questions with cooking, he loves to teach/help! You did a great job! I love some old school Whitney too girl!! That’s one of my favorites! Great driving music! He taught a cooking class at a local kitchen store when I first met him. He’s a shy guy but when it comes to cooking and food his personality shines! ❤️ I make jokes every time I say worstershire sauce too. All different ways of saying it, adding syllables, who cares. Hahaha 😂

Just my two cents, if you salt your meat, especially a cheaper cut (not saying yours was), with COARSE salt, (Pat it in good like you did), it breaks down the fibers in the meat. Only leave it for an HR for steaks, little longer for thicker cuts like yours, then cook as you normally would. Makes a huge difference in the tenderness. Looked awesome 👍. DT, are you listening? I cook mine the same way. I love it browned. I usually brown my onions as well. My husband has sensative ears and he wants to know why I beat my utinsil on the side of my pan so many times, lol. He usually puts ear plugs in. I cut mine in cubes before I cook if am having stew or soup, otherwise I leave whole.and slice. I love stewed chicken on Sundays too. You are making me hungry. It looks so delicious.
