Through High School I lost 6 friends all within months of eachother some through normal accidents others through freak accidents and each time it seemed harder and harder I felt like a walking storm cloud. But through my family and friends I found the strength to keep my head held high and keep on grinding. Each year I celebrate the memories I had with my brothers all the fine times staying up late playing cards and gaming. So remind yourself of the fond memories you got to have with each and everyone and keep those you still have ever closer dont waste our lives family and friends are all we really have in this world not the items not the money! Love you Guys.
I know exactly what you both mean and going/went through. My sincerest condolences for your losses. It never gets easier and seems to take longer just to get back to okay after each one. You nailed it all square on the head. We gotta keep putting one foot in front of the other, and keep breathing & telling the stories of those not around to do so anymore. Most people dont experience so many losses, especially when many occur so close to each other. To say "I know what you mean, I know what you are going through/went through" is something only someone who truly has been through it. I have laid to rest at least 6 in the last 10 years. Like you said, some I kinda saw coming, and some were a complete blindside out of nowhere. those are the hardest ones to wrap the kind and heart around and learn to accept and still keep going... Respect and thoughts of peace and joyful successes to you in your life.

I think its because this is the UK broadcast? I've heard Mike Rowe this season, I'm sure of it.
He's still doing it, this is just the UK broadcast luckily. Wouldn't be right without Mike haha.
Mike still does voice Deadliest catch. They get different Narrators for other countries.Mike works for the good old USA Branch of Discovery, which is why you won't hear him in UK. He's kind of an exclusive.
No way, British dude rocks
@@corkyvanderhaven3391 He’s actually Scottish.
I think everyone can learn from the bond between fisherman that are only acquaintances or even strangers, but are still in it together
Not a dry eye here…no words except gutted 😭
Love hugs and prayers to his family 🙏🏻💙
First Nick now Todd Bill and crew have had it tough I'm sure they'll carry on in their name. RIP TO BOTH
I feel so bad for Bill and Landon. Prayers out to them both and to the families of Todd and Nick.
Ole Bill may have been a hard ass in the past but you can truly tell what a big heart he has! So very sad for the whole fleet! R.I.P Todd & Nick
Prayers and my deepest condolences to Todd's family and to his fishing family as well.
Fly high with the Angels Todd 🕊
🙏
According to an article Todd is preceded in death by all of his immediate family members - he was the last one :(
Very sorry to hear this. Condolences to Todd’s family and friends.
I cried when this episode aired and I’m crying now. These boys put their lives at risk every time they go out. You all will be in my prayer thru king crab and opies Caroline in the uk.
No king this year also 95 percent reduction on opies
@@michaeljamison201 oh no that’s not good. They were worried about this last season.
Man. Speechless. May those gone watch over you and guide you through the worst storm.
I hope you get plenty of rest, Todd..be sure to get the biggest catch out there. We're rootin for ya.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Todd, his family, and his friends.
Rest easy brother. These are some of the bravest hard working Men on this planet. God bless them all.
🙏🙏🙏 Heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends..
Losing the young is the worst 😪😞
This is what a TRUE “reality show” is. Not that garbage everyone binge watches on Bravo & E! Channel. This show is real life, true human beings, unscripted. And The Discovery Channel gets a lot of credit for producing the show with such cinematically artistry. They made me feel like Im part of the Deadliest Catch family. This is one of THE BEST SHOWS ON TELEVISION.
Do you have any idea how much BS TV crap they put in this show?
Yea this is all staged too
AMEN , AMEN
I've been watching Deadliest Catch since season 1. Cried like a baby when Captain Phil passed.
@@kennenakali8723 I'd love to see you try it.
I always thought Bill was a harsh dude to his crew. I hate saying it this way but when he found out that kid died you could see he wanted to cry. He realy liked that kid. I haven't been watching the show lately so I don't know him. RIP.
Bill suffered a lot of loses during the season this is from. First Nick at the begining of the Oppilio season then Todd. I feel awful for him.
My heart and prayers go out to Todd's family, loved ones, and friends. So many lose their lives every year, even one is too many. I have been watching the series since the very first episode, so they all feel like family to me, love them all. Cry like a baby every time something happens to one of them. God bless and protect them all.
I have ultimate respect for all of you risking your lives. I hope ALL the people of Alaska come together to remember Tod, Nick & Phil & all the other people lost to posiden
RIP TO ALL.
FOREVER LOVED AND REMEMBERED NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN😭🥺😩
@@constancefranks9054 Sig Hanson runs the FV Northwestern, also gets a minor voice over role in the start of cars 2 with a verry accurate depiction of his crab trawler. I realise now he has not passed that was my mistake i got him and Phil Harris mixed up
@@constancefranks9054 yea even when they were both on the show i got them mistaken with eachother.

You can tell wild BIll has a big heart ~! think he is a stand up guy, and I will always be a fan !! wish them all well ~!
It's crazy how strangers can be affected so much by a death of somebody on tv. 😢 Rip Todd... good dude right there!
Damn. Sorry to hear this. Condolences to the family and his friends….
Condolences to his family and friends. And thank you to the camera crew on the Summer Bay for stepping away from the captain when he asked you to.
RIP Todd.
My thoughts are with everyone out there fishing.
It’s a sad day to loose another fisherman.
Tough year for bill and almost capsizing is the cherry on top that’s not needed. Sad season of Deadliest Catch
To the family and friends of the lost or passed away people, you all are in our prayers and our hearts. I can't imagine how hard and difficult this is. I lost my parents to illness and was devastating. I am so sorry you have to have this as part of life. Life is so precious and it seems to short, far too short at times. God Bless you all and know he loves you all.
One of the few shows where the camera men show respect well from few clips I’ve seen
In my service to my country , I’ve buried 3 of my brothers , each one was harder than the next .. my heart sinks when I hear of any team losing one of its team mates, a chain broken , the bloodline shortened … the loss is painful and I shed a tear .. God Rest you Todd , I didn’t know you , but your Brothers did , and as long as one of them remember you, you’ll live on … fair winds and following seas brother
Thank you to you, and your brothers, for your service to your country x ❤💖💖💖
that awkward moment when you've watch so much Coast Guard Alaska that you can recognize the Helicoptor Pilot's voice when it plays over the speaker in Deadliest Catch.
My condolences to his friends and family. So sad. My heart goes out to all of them.😭
My deepest sympthies to all of Todd's family. The rest of you guys..stay safe out there and watch out for your brothers!😔
I know exactly how this Feels.
I’m so sorry for the lose man, I lost both of my good friends very close together. I understand the feeling
Absolute respect to everyone of you guys whole different breed of men and the job they do
If anyone complains about the price of crab on their plate, watch this, and pay the feckin money! 😔😔😔❤️
Excellent point
Exactly
@Susan Corr spend a day on a crab boat, you will change your mind
I don't complain. I'm just to poor to eat it.
We can never pay what it's worth.
Jesus, that's rough. My condolences to his family and the fleet who knew him.
I was 31 when this was aired. Just past my prime, was a Marine and they were interviewing people to go with them. At 25 out of the corps I would have, I was in my prime. At 31, a small part of me thought I could but I chickened out from auditioning. I don't regret my choice, but I wasn't in my 20's anymore. Huge respect to these guys! R.I.P. Todd!
DhmnNmzz at
31 isn’t out of your prime. You got another got 10-15 years. I’m 30 right now and feel old but I know when I’m 50 I’ll wish I was 30 again.
RIP Todd. Even though you were a young man, your work here is done. You’re being reunited with your loved ones brings some solace. I always hope there is an extra special place for people that did the honest hard work. If there is, you will be in the front row.
Very sad to hear that Todd was killed while crabbing in the Alaskan waters. My heart goes out to all his family and friends, and all those who have sailed the cold waters of Alaska with him. The description of the series, “ Deadliest Catch “, really comes home when someone actually loses their life aboard one of these vessels. Yes, Alaskan crabbing is very dangerous work.
i don’t understand how can someone explain it to me
@@laureneckstrom1429 The majority of the causes of death are hypothermia and drowning, while others is the use of the heavy machinery on the ships, idea build up as well.
At the time of his death, Kochutin did not have any immediate living family members. His obituary indicates that "Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Deanna; brother, Dwayne; and sister, Ayla."
He was the last of his family ❤ now he is with them and all the other seamen and women 😢
Big Bill man, you had a rough year. God bless you and keep you all safe, always. Most heartfelt condolences to Todd’s family and friends 🙏🙏🙏
Well I'm crying. My deepest and sincere sympathy for all who knew him. Rest in Peace Todd...
So damned sad. He was such an upbeat kid and did the job the best he could. RIP to what seemed like a beautiful soul.
Having watched so many seasons it still hits home every time.
I used to watch this show quite a bit years ago and between work and life have not been able to keep up with all that has happened. it's sad to lose people like these guys the world seems to get a bit dimmer when they leave. It is a dangerous job and they are the ones to do it. stay safe out there. God bless you all!
I don't know these men, but it should hurt all humanity when even one is killed in the pursuit of sustenance for people he doesn't even know.
I think they're in it for the money more than for the people being fed occasional fish. But then again that's just speculation
You Mean Profit
What? It's obviously for the money.

I'm fairly new to the show , but it certainly opened my eyes . What these men go through to get crabs etc. How they work in those conditions I will never know. It's a cold , dark thankless job. Big respect to.them all.
