Hi PJ, i've doubt regarding weight of the jewelry, eg as your tutorial ring, customer ordered weight is 16grm but after design the weight is 24grm how to reduce the weight without reduce the size of the ring.

My first one is, why do you use revolve command and not sweep 1. I sow that when you are want creative a surface for gem with triangle rail and puffy profile you used rail revolve. Is there reason for it? Is there advice for us to how and when we use correct tools??

It depends on the ring size. you may can reduce the thickness of metal as long as you can get it cast.

I believe you can use either one. I sometimes try to use different commands to show different way to build the same model.
