I was just telling my people that this song is IMPOSSIBLE not to start dancing near the end…… and i think we have seen the first mr. Lboyd dance during a reaction. History has been made. Its not much……. But if you can see it build and at the end he is definitely “dancing” in his own way. Cheers
Rick Beato definitely wasn't a fan of this song. And his opinion is warranted. He has forgotten more about music than most people will ever know. He can't get passed the structure and autotune
Bruh this song is a banger. New tune for the pub, night club and house party and i guarantee everyone will love it. Evry one ive showed this song in ireland has loved this song to bits ❤
I don't dance. Ever. Closest I've ever done to dance was being part of a Chinese new year dragon. But for the past month, every time this song plays on the radio, I just gotta groove!
love your reaction to this. just to let you know, Empire did pay JKwon for the rights to use the reference. his quote to billboard was, "It really ain’t even paying homage; I got a crazy percentage… Let’s say it like this, we did that together, and I’m proud of him."
🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ This song is 100% PASS Menh.. Song of the century.. it brings back kinda country side music.. I damnit dying for this song.. who's this Guy.. bunch of talent.. which African root does he came from....
I love that in the video he's drunk dancing through the whole thing but the violin is playing kind of a melancholy tune which adds a little sadness to using the bar as an escape. Absolutely quality song and video
This video made me love the song so much more. Watching him have fun and dance to it made me want to have fun and dance to it and now everytime I hear it, I have to move. lmfao.
You know, I stumbled on this song because of a Facebook Reel of the TikTok choreography challenge. And yeah, the choreography challenge is cute. But watching the artist in this video, there’s a sort of discordance in his body language that turns it from a catchy little line dance to an almost nihilistic commentary on our society. Maybe it’s just me, but this video left me with the sense that the “narrator” of the song is aware that he’s using the alcohol and bar culture as a temporary escape from the relentless grind of his life, but he’s given up on anything getting better. “If this is all there is in life, I may as well be drunk.”
the fact that everoyne else who reacts to this just start vibing out of their minds immediately, but this guy breaks down his work-life balance from verse one....love it. Florida Wix?? lol
Such a vibe. Instantly reminded me of Last Last by Burna Boy which samples He Wasn't Man Enough by Toni Braxton. FUGGIN LOVE Burna Boy and he's a great artist, and I really like the song Last Last, and sampling He Wasn't Man Enough/Toni Braxton was genius. It's one of her best-selling songs. Same for Tipsy. As soon as the beat drops, you know it's on.
Love this, thank you! ❤️🔥 p.s. mrlboyd, i saw that grin ;-) let me know when ure ready-head on up here to Nashville & we'll go honky tonkin! No cap ;-) 😁
You're the first reaction who mention the fact that he could get in trouble from ripping off lyrics. Except in this case he didn't. He got permission. Good boy!
❤❤❤ This song is 100% PASS Menh.. Song of the century.. it brings back kinda country side music.. I damnit dying for this song.. who's this Guy.. bunch of talent.. which African root does he came from.... ❤❤❤❤❤
For the line that says he and Jack Daniels have a history, Nearest Green, born a slave in the U.S., taught Jack Daniels distilling methods passed down from his West African heritage. And, Shaboozey is of Nigerian heritage.: "Nathan "Nearest" Green (c. 1820 - unknown), incorrectly spelled "Nearis" in an 1880 census,[1] was an American head stiller, more commonly referred to as a master distiller. Born into slavery and emancipated after the American Civil War, he taught his distilling techniques to Jack Daniel, founder of the Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey distillery. Green was hired as the first master distiller for Jack Daniel Distillery,[2] and he is the first African-American master distiller on record in the United States.[1] " en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_%22Nearest%22_Green#:~:text=Green%20was%20hired%20as%20the,record%20in%20the%20United%20States.
Listen, how did I miss this song! I know I was caught up in the drama of Kendrick dismantling everybody's favorite rapper in the silk pajamas. OMG, this is what I like in my country music, I thought this was what Beyonce was going to bring but.... Mr Shaboozey needs to get K Michelle on a remix, immediately!
My best friend had stage 3 colon cancer and we found out her husband of 20 years was cheating on her while we were waiting her to get out of surgery and he was late, aka “caught up at work”….the girl he was cheating with found out about his wife and her cancer and she messaged me and spilled ALL the tea!!! This became my friends anthem…sad at first, but now we scream the words and karaoke it whenever we can!!!! She wasted so much time on him!!!
I really like the video as well. It's simple, and maybe im seeing something that isn't there. Shaboozy seems a little down at the start, and as the song progresses, the energy of the folks in the background boosts Shaboozy's energy / mood, and he looks like he is having a good time at the end. This song is a vibe.

I was just dancing in the bathroom to this and I never dance! And my life is currently 💩
I don't dance. Ever. Closest I've ever done to dance was being part of a Chinese new year dragon. But for the past month, every time this song plays on the radio, I just gotta groove!
J-Won was credited (paid) and helped to promote the song.
J'Kwon holds the copyright for counting to four 😂
facts and Shaboozey brought J-Kon on stage at the BET 2024 awards show killed it song is fire definitely a feel good song 🥰🥰⚜⚜
2:21 He already performed live with J and they did a remix. No worries.
love your reaction to this.

I love to see it!!!
Shaboozey describes his music as Alt Country and he is Massive here in the UK
The fact that you were openly almost smiling is huge. Love this song
This dude got nominated for 6 Grammys. I'm so happy for him - very well deserved!
I love how is actual voice almost sounds auto tuned in this first verse, but it’s not. His vocals are amazing.
It's not? I just assumed it was because it has that sound to it. I still get goosebumps listening to this 200 times in.
It's been back and forth at #1 spot on iTunes since it dropped a few weeks ago and is still in the spot right now.
🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ This song is 100% PASS Menh.. Song of the century.. it brings back kinda country side music.. I damnit dying for this song.. who's this Guy.. bunch of talent.. which African root does he came from....
this is a summer time country song fun , upbeat, country song trigger words . i love it
4:05 By that second chorus, when that bass builds behind that violin or fiddle, you HAVE to be moving. 😂
I love that in the video he's drunk dancing through the whole thing but the violin is playing kind of a melancholy tune which adds a little sadness to using the bar as an escape. Absolutely quality song and video
This song had you smiling the whole way thru 😂😂😂😂😂
you aint lying
Can't help but to smile 😁
This video made me love the song so much more. Watching him have fun and dance to it made me want to have fun and dance to it and now everytime I hear it, I have to move. lmfao.
"Shaboozey - Let it burn" is another hit if you loved this one! Thanks for your reaction! He is Nigerian by decent!!!

You missed the best part. That video was a single take
Whoooaaaaaa
I missed that too-thank you!
Cool, but not that crazy lol. When Tony Jaa did it in the protector… now that was impressive
His entire reaction to this he wanted to let that bright smile shine but he held it , nah brother , let the smile free
Note: Its a fiddle, not a violin. I had to look that up lol because I also thought it was a violin but in the other video noticed the fiddle.
Fiddle & Violin Are The Same Thing.
Oh dear lolol
They look no different because they are the same instrument
This is what you get when people finally understand what a trailor hood is. You get 2Pac and George Jones on the same play list.
Get it brother! Feel that stuff!
3:08 noooo! It’s called a fiddle when it’s a country song, not a violin!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I've got 3 words to describe Mr Shaboozey...

What a simple and effective music video.
If this song doesn't at least make you smile . There is a strong probability something is wrong with you.
Listen to this song on the radio before I saw the video
Love everything about it ❤
I'd call this on the hip-hip/rap sub genre of country
Hes no.1 on billboard Hot 100
Nice analyzing skill set, great radio voice
My best friend had stage 3 colon cancer and we found out her husband of 20 years was cheating on her while we were waiting her to get out of surgery and he was late, aka “caught up at work”….the girl he was cheating with found out about his wife and her cancer and she messaged me and spilled ALL the tea!!! He performed the song with J Kwon at the BET Awards.

J-Kwon is a credited writer. He knew.
This instrumental goes hard AF not gonna lie
There is a video where him and J-Kwon did a version of this together
You can't not smile watching this video.
Like that from the brother. Party near fifth street.
I almost want to say it takes so much J-Kwon agreed.
J-Kwon knows.
Great
He’s been around for a little while he has a couple of albums. He’s not really new. He’s just new to people who don’t listen to that type of music.
He has had 3-4 albums already
Jesus Christ is Lord, King and Our Savior!
the girl in the background is rolling a joint. anyone notice that?
He made you smile didn't he?
What's it sound like without autotune I wonder 🤔
My man tryin so hard not to bop along
That’s my SHIT!
u smart. u called that shit like 5 second into the hook
Sir that is a fiddle not a violin
