Just got into on pc last night cuz I was given a free copy. Didn't play a single mission alone, while hosting I had almost a full party the whole time. Was given a super warm welcome by a seemingly veteran player who knew all the secrets and grimoire locations. They're just happy to see people enjoying the game, much like the deep rock galactic community.
Should note that this game is often on sale, so you can pick it and much of the DLC for mere dollars each. I bought the base game for $5 and have nearly 1,000 hours in it. This game has affected my ability to play single player games - the combat is so amazing that other games just feel so “meh” to me.
Yeah i find it little bit sad that you can buy so many maps and Characters because in my eyes that are thinks that should get for free in the game and not for money and they are not so cheap 1 Character or 1 map costs 10 bucks so thats a little bit much i think for only 1 thing that other games normaly give for free in the Game 🤔😅

Yes you should play it, I'm at 4k hours and I still feel like a noob on Dutch spice and onslaught plus. I've made so many friends, the game only begins when you have leveled all your heros up .
I feel this! Champion to Legend difficulty was a bit of a transition but once i got used to it, I was flying and became a better player as a whole. The skill gap in this game is something else can you can either push yourself or relax, which i consider a net positive to this game.
I'm a relatively new player with 100 hours in this game. So far, I am enjoying the game, and right now, I'm struggling with Legend difficulty. I got the game for $5, and the dlcs were dirt cheap. I think I paid around $40 USD for most of the dlcs as you recommended. I'm planning to play and learn the game for a lot longer! Videos like this from veteran players are really useful! Thank you!
If you understand the movement of characters and the movement of the weapons with the properties you should watch chocob videos (solo cata runs no explaining but alot of learning just by watching) if u need help with the first alot of youtubers are helping with that and with fun builds and meta builds with explaining just like Wet Magic! :)
@@SorieI please don't, stick with your teammates, as the game often says in the loading screen "stay together or die alone" unless of course you're playing on modded realm true solo, that's on you.
Juliankg the reason playing solo is beneficial is because not getting disabled is hard. But repeated attempts, and you'll quickly train your disabler evasion. Plus you'll get better at clutching, and your teammates will appreciate that when you do play multiplayer.
@@SorieI Ah, surely a good idea if you play solo with bots, thought you meant wandering on your own while playing with actual players, to the people that do that really wouldn't recommend it at all since the game is so focused on being a team. If you really want to get good at avoiding disablers best thing would be to try modded True solo QoL tweaks.
Highly recommend. I got the game for free during their anniversary and have loved it ever since. Im currently on my 500th hour and from my experience you can enjoy most of the game without dlcs needed. The community is MOSTLY friendly and understanding, and they will be more than happy to help if you like doing achievements.
This game is SO SO fun. The combat is satisfying, the classes are diverse, and the dialogue between all the characters is top tier. If you haven’t played it, get it when you can.
I got Vermantide 2 when it became free right before Darktide came out, so I haven't been playing that long. And I'm loving the game I got all the dlc for the game, Warrior Priest main. While I like Darktide, I would recommend Vermantide 2 more.
@penileymajorey7174 after 6+ months of fixes and patches, darktide still has a LONG way to go before it becomes peak alongside vermintide 2. it still has: 1. mixed reviews on steam 2. lack of classes (although there is a class overhaul coming soon which could be huge). Vermintide 2 has 15 base classes. 3. lack of progression outside of getting classes to 30, can only craft and upgrade gear, that’s pretty much it (although you can say vermintide 2 is similar in this instance as well) 4. can feel copy and paste with maps as they look and feel similar to each other, unlike vermintide 2 where majority of maps have their own design and looks suffice to say darktide is getting better but at a very SLOW rate. you’re better off getting vermintide 2 to get your money’s worth as there’s a lot more content, variety and fun to be had on there. darktide will eventually reach its peak, it’s just taking so damn long.
Good review. From someone with over a thousand hours in the game, VT, VT2 and (flawed and prematurely released as it is) Darktide is my favourite game series of all time.
A few notes that becomes a bit of an essay. I actually quite like the DLC careers having cosmetics separately. It means FS can price the career itself very cheap and then a bit more once you've decided you do like the cosmetics. As for WInds of Magic, I'd argue the concept behind Weaves was actually very good and was intended to give experienced players who were tired of running full book runs on Legend were quite often asking for: Wanted more enemies, esp. a new faction Wanted higher difficulty Wanted more variety in replaying levels and adding mutators. There was already some existing catering to this with Deeds and Weekly Quests but Deeds were limited by random drop and needed a premade group and there was only one modifier every week. Weaves almost got this but: It came out with exactly the same expansion as Cataclysm difficulty… which added exactly that. So the ideal target audience had a new toy to play with whilst weaves: Entirely reset your progression and you had to regrind your gear and talents. Forced to play through essentially the base difficulties again. Was a complete mess for anyone trying to join in as you needed a premade group, got no bots and progress was tied to the weave you'd completed. For newer players getting into Weaves was difficult and the best way to level up for weaves was to do a few early ones, then ignore them and generate Weave Essence in regular missions So the very target audience who wanted more variety and difficulty of course went to Cataclysm instead of Weaves, despite the fact weaves actually was arguably more tailor made for them. And beastmen were overturned and frustrating to fight in the first months and IMO the aethetics was somewhat off compared to the skaven and rotbloods. I think many of us were hoping for Undead given the closing lines of Vermintide 1. So WoM (and esp. Weaves) did give players what they had asked for, but it was implemented so badly it was frustrating. The introduction of Quick Play weaves helped this a bit but by then I think Weaves were already tainted by association. Once you get everything unlocked with Weave Essence - the Weave equipment and talent system is IMO actually better than the base game's loot system as it's entirely customisable and no RNG is needed. Chaos Wastes honestly feels like what the ideas of Weaves wanted to do but reversing some of the principles, instead keeping every run self contained. And has been vastly better received because of this. Sadly Fatshark didn't then take these lessons into Darktide.
great analysis! never thought about weaves that way. it’s a shame they released it alongside cataclysm because people would rather play cata than play through a game mode that forces you to reset your progress and grind through everything all over again.
This game is a masterpiece imo. Darktide it's great, almost as good as Vermintide 2, but I think there's a lack of new dlc's and content. Hope we'll see a Vermintide 3 someday. Great video bro
Yes you should. The community is also very helpful to new players. I have well into 2000 hours and I still play every day if i can. One of the most rewarding games you will ever play. Once you start imoroving and learning new stuff it just gets more and more addicting
Loved the game since i started playing it 4 years ago always on and off but its like riding a bike as soon as u are at it muscle memory kicks in.^^ For all the new players or people who wanna start playing it: 1.leveling is a bitch and boring but worth it 2.If u dont understand a build or a weapon there are many really great youtubers/streamers that explain combos and are always welcoming new players 3.the first 2-3 difficulties feel nearly the same dont rush into higher difficulties too soon first try every weapon u are interested in and level ur chars since talents are a big deal 4.after reaching lvl 30 go into chaos wastes the amount of loot and fun is amazing! (for any long time players stuck at legend watch chocob´s solo cata run videos you learn alot just by the movement) PS:Thank you for the very well made video & motivating Players to get interested and starting the game keep it up mate!
the end fights on the treacherous adventure maps are hell. even on recruit and veteran. finally beat the final boss fight on veteran as iron breaker, it took 45min for the end fight ALONE, the team was all on nearly all temp health, we lost about all of our grims and tomes from everyone else dying. It was so god damn hard ;-; up until the ending portions of these maps it's a CAKEWALK but the endings are just so overwhelming and hard.
I agree, the treacherous adventure maps feel like “endgame” maps to me, combining all of your skills and playtime into two big maps. they did make some changes to the first adventure map for the end part but you gotta be coordinated for it.
I play every day on PC, it's the best first person melee / horde shooter I've ever played. When I was younger I loved the left 4 dead games, and vermintide 2 takes all of the best design mechanics of left for dead, extrapolates on them, then adds even more such as character classes and perk trees. Every weapon behaves differently and has it's own strengths and weaknesses, but none are just weak and all are lethal in the hands of a player that knows how to use them. On top of weapon uniqueness each class plays totally different, making a concophony of potential class, build and weapon combos to take to the horde. And what's more than this- every attack can be blocked, dodged, or avoided. Every time you die, no matter how tough the circumstances, it was your own fault for either missing the dodge, the shot, the block, or just not being in a smart place. The skill ceiling is high, but even the squishiest career with the "worst" weapon can clear a map alone on the highest difficulty if they are skilled enough. TLDR very fun. Also only $5 on steam. Definitely try.

You missed roasting dark omens and beastmen, introducing bardin and mentioning the amazing modding community and post-endgame they enable, for example via AI director mods like onslaught or just a ton of QOL mods that are approved for use in official realm
i was really keen to go all in on dark omens and beastmen and i probably should have but decided not to. missed opportunity if you ask me. most of the mods i normally use have officially been put into official realm now such as persistent ammo counter and numeric hud to name a few. onslaught is amazing as well but haven’t watched much on it. didn’t bother mentioning bardin or sienna due to not playing those characters as much, opening new players to explore those characters for themselves, should they get the game!

You should play VT2 in EVERY year! You got one part completely wrong though. You *NEED* Winds of Magic because cataclysm is endgame. Of course if lower difficulties still are enough challenge for you, there's no point rushing it, but once you outgrow legend difficulty, cataclysm is a must.
as much as i agree with you for “needing” winds of magic for cataclysm, there will be people out there who would rather save their money and spend it on something else, like another DLC or game. Fatshark charging almost $30 is pretty criminal and most people should only get Winds on a sale. That being said, yes, the true endgame lies in cataclysm for those that WANT it. It’s just so expensive. I hope FS eventually make cataclysm free for everyone. One can only hope…
Imo it's "highly encouraged" rather than "needed". For as much of a bonus the winds of magic Dlc, the weave and the new beastmen enemies can turn alot of people away especially considering the chaos wastes are alot more accessible because it's free and is highly replayable.
Hitboxes longer than weapon models is a flaw. A useful one, once you understand the "ghost range", but a flaw nonetheless. I'd rather have longer models that match the hitbox, even if they'd have to be longer.
@@haurg7418 Compromise meaning they had to sacrifice something for the sake of player comfort. As I said, it is objectively a flaw if a model does not correspond to a hitbox. It can lead to unintuitive use, confusion and a steeper learning curve. Once you get used to it, it's fine. They wanted to have a cookie and eat it too, this is the result. As I said, I like it. Not perfect by any measure, but a lot better than most.
@@jigsawharlequin862 To me this is "player comfort" as i hate every single first person melee cuz they do not use that "trick". It is a flaw if it was made on purpouse tho? Try fallout 4 melee u almost have to get on top of the enemies to hit, vomit inducing. So yea it is perfect i did not have any problem with it since the start, i found the combat so good, later in understood why.
i buyed the game last year. and when a 50% sale came, i buyed all the DLC, exept the Collector. im not interested in skinns, but in content. New classes, new map, new weapon? i take all. Where is Sienas 4 Career? i want that cycle complete! and please give that old lady a cool looking outfit. I love this game and this universe. For Sigmar and all the little Dwaris!
i’m hoping the sienna career comes out either mid year or end of year. they’ve been working hard to bring darktide up to snuff so i can’t blame them. a melee sienna class would be kind of sick if they decide to do that!
just saw a steam post from a developer and it turns out it’s not going to be a melee class. all they’ve given us is that she can use staves. interesting. could be a support kind of class (just spitballing)
@@Pepsilk A support class for Siena? Im totaly support that. Could be fun, to be maybe someone who can Ignite the weapons of the Friends / Enemy and give them some benefit or punishment. Imagin Grailknight and Warriorpriest can use this buff to throw some fireballs. Lets see what they bring up for her.
I love vermintide and I believe everyone should play it regardless of style, just please, don't be a friendly fire happy + rusher + ragequit when things go south player. SPECIALLY if elf is your favorite cause that stigma is more akin to them.
I love this game but sad that most mods cant be use in offical server which make me kind of sad duo to the fact i only want bots mod For the difficult you can turn off your brain and only spam m1 untill legend im not joking Yellow item is good enough if you playing casually because you can still get the full % upgrade without red item if you willing to sit there and re roll You could ignore the crafting system untill you get to max level class aka level 30 and 35 for the people have wind of magic because loot scale on level any way

Hello I recently started playing darktide but am going to start vermintide. Darktide seems much simpler, more my style lol. But i wanna find a good build for vt. What is your favorite setup?
my go to setup is running kerillian with her handmaiden career and opting for a spear and shield build with the moonfire bow! a great website i can recommend is Ranald’s gift, which is a site dedicated to vermintide 2 builds, updated for the latest patch as well: www.ranalds.gift/ Just filter what you like, i'm sure you'll find what you want in there. My build is a hybrid sort of build, sporting tank with frontlining and special killing in between if the team needs it. anything 4.6.0 and up is okay, there hasn't been any major changes since then
if you’re on PC, the current player base at the moment as of today is 1358 players. is usually peaks around 2.5 to 3k players, depending on the day. if you’re curious about the player count yourself, use steam charts and look the game up on there! unsure about console player counts as there’s no way of checking
I just bought vermintide 2 and I feel like it's not the same game that you have my UI is different, I never get into matches with people it's always bots and my crafting menu is on the inn with the forge and all that. Do I need to finish the first chapter to get everything or is it something different? Also I don't have abilities but I'm guessing thats due to my level being low.
my UI is different because i’m using mods, and you can play the game however you choose! level yourself up a bit and once you reach level 15, that’s where things begin to ramp up and you can run higher difficulties from there on out. rarities are locked through low levels so you just gotta keep at it and you’ll get there. what platform are you playing out of curiosity?
there’s 5 characters but i only talked about a few of them cause i don’t play the other ones often. 5 characters, 15 base game careers, 5 DLC careers as of this comment!

what region are you in? have you tried finding games via the server browser? there’s usually a good amount of servers, but if you want to play in your region, wait till peak time.

I downloaded this game a week ago and there are verry few active players and connection issues. What this game would need is crossplay for a bigger player pool
And I realy hate runners, rookies that just want to get kills I meet them all the times. They activate the enemies and keep on running. It end with me killing all enemies thats swarming the players behind and I need to pick up the runners and then they keep on like a headless chicken. Learn the game or just go back to Cod or other "die respawn" games.
I can't fathom why the download is so large? You only get a few characters, 1 career each, a hub area and what feels like the same 4 or 5 levels over and over again. You have to pay for more levels and career paths, which after 5 years isn't that cheap tbh. The graphics aren't particularly outstanding either so I just wonder why it's so big? No campaign, just the one game mode. The characters you start with are deliberately shite and goofy looking so you buy the cool looking characters behind the pay wall, which I find really predatory tbh it's fine, not amazing, just needs more content (which is confusing because the download is over 100 Gb)
I can’t fathom it either. thankfully they reduced by size by a reasonable amount a few months back (can’t remember the exact amount) and they added more recently because of a soundtrack that they dropped, which is questionable because they could just make it a seperate download or something instead of adding it on top of the game… that being said, chaos wastes takes a substantial amount outside of the base game and campaign DLCs due to the sheer amount of maps it adds and some of the base classes the game gives you are some of the best classes in the game… level the characters up and you’ll see that you get more options, maybe “nicer” looking characters according to your standards and a lot more content to unfold. asking for more content is just telling Fatshark to add more GB to the game if you think about it… and this game has plenty of content to sink your teeth into. players in the comments that have tons of hours speak in support of a long term game that they always come back to or still jump on to play a few rounds.
double backing on this, some of those first classes are some of the BEST classes in the game. ranger veteran and witch hunter captain are amazing classes , ranger boasting high ranged damage to shred special enemies and an amazing ult in witch hunter that stuns and gives all players critical hit chance for a few seconds. if you’ve watched my video, you’ll know that i mention the witch hunter, which is the first class you get for saltzpyre and is AMAZING. i would argue that every class in the game is good, you’ve just gotta put the time in to unlock the others and see the potential they have when it comes to playing this game. it opens up LOTS of options. and what do you mean by no campaign? this game has a campaign with 13 base missions, additional ones that have either been free or can be purchased with DLC. i don’t know why i’m reiterating some parts from my video, but just in case something is confusing, it’s there. or are you questioning about the campaign not taking up all that space?
Darktide is sooooo much better and fun than this constant melee spam game... Distant weapons are really less used in Vermintide 2 than in Darktide, and melee combat isn't interesting enough to make Vermintide 2 a great game.

why exactly do you want to be able to quote on quote “ungrab” yourself? all you need to do is either time your shove right as they jump you in order to counter the attack or get a bot/player to shove or shoot the assassin whenever you get attacked by them… it’s not rocket science. that would be pointless if they added a mechanic to pull yourself out of an assassin’s lunge. it would make gutter runners pointless then 😂 same thing with hook rats too. if you are getting frustrated over two simple attacks that are easily countered, i don’t know what to say

So WoM (and esp. Weaves) did give players what they had asked for, but it was implemented so badly it was frustrating. The introduction of Quick Play weaves helped this a bit but by then I think Weaves were already tainted by association.
Once you get everything unlocked with Weave Essence - the Weave equipment and talent system is IMO actually better than the base game's loot system as it's entirely customisable and no RNG is needed.
Chaos Wastes honestly feels like what the ideas of Weaves wanted to do but reversing some of the principles, instead keeping every run self contained. And has been vastly better received because of this.
Sadly Fatshark didn't then take these lessons into Darktide.
great analysis! never thought about weaves that way. it’s a shame they released it alongside cataclysm because people would rather play cata than play through a game mode that forces you to reset your progress and grind through everything all over again.

This game is a masterpiece imo. Darktide it's great, almost as good as Vermintide 2, but I think there's a lack of new dlc's and content.

Yes you should. The community is also very helpful to new players. I have well into 2000 hours and I still play every day if i can. One of the most rewarding games you will ever play. Once you start imoroving and learning new stuff it just gets more and more addicting

Loved the game since i started playing it 4 years ago always on and off but its like riding a bike as soon as u are at it muscle memory kicks in.^^
For all the new players or people who wanna start playing it:
1.leveling is a bitch and boring but worth it
2.If u dont understand a build or a weapon there are many really great youtubers/streamers that explain combos and are always welcoming new players
3.the first 2-3 difficulties feel nearly the same dont rush into higher difficulties too soon first try every weapon u are interested in and level ur chars since talents are a big deal
4.after reaching lvl 30 go into chaos wastes the amount of loot and fun is amazing!
(for any long time players stuck at legend watch chocob´s solo cata run videos you learn alot just by the movement)

the end fights on the treacherous adventure maps are hell. even on recruit and veteran. finally beat the final boss fight on veteran as iron breaker, it took 45min for the end fight ALONE, the team was all on nearly all temp health, we lost about all of our grims and tomes from everyone else dying. It was so god damn hard ;-; up until the ending portions of these maps it's a CAKEWALK but the endings are just so overwhelming and hard.
I agree, the treacherous adventure maps feel like “endgame” maps to me, combining all of your skills and playtime into two big maps. they did make some changes to the first adventure map for the end part but you gotta be coordinated for it.
I play every day on PC, it's the best first person melee / horde shooter I've ever played. When I was younger I loved the left 4 dead games, and vermintide 2 takes all of the best design mechanics of left for dead, extrapolates on them, then adds even more such as character classes and perk trees. Every weapon behaves differently and has it's own strengths and weaknesses, but none are just weak and all are lethal in the hands of a player that knows how to use them. On top of weapon uniqueness each class plays totally different, making a concophony of potential class, build and weapon combos to take to the horde. And what's more than this- every attack can be blocked, dodged, or avoided. Every time you die, no matter how tough the circumstances, it was your own fault for either missing the dodge, the shot, the block, or just not being in a smart place. The skill ceiling is high, but even the squishiest career with the "worst" weapon can clear a map alone on the highest difficulty if they are skilled enough.
TLDR very fun. Also only $5 on steam. Definitely try.

You missed roasting dark omens and beastmen, introducing bardin and mentioning the amazing modding community and post-endgame they enable, for example via AI director mods like onslaught or just a ton of QOL mods that are approved for use in official realm
i was really keen to go all in on dark omens and beastmen and i probably should have but decided not to. missed opportunity if you ask me. most of the mods i normally use have officially been put into official realm now such as persistent ammo counter and numeric hud to name a few. onslaught is amazing as well but haven’t watched much on it. didn’t bother mentioning bardin or sienna due to not playing those characters as much, opening new players to explore those characters for themselves, should they get the game!

You got one part completely wrong though. You *NEED* Winds of Magic because cataclysm is endgame.
Of course if lower difficulties still are enough challenge for you, there's no point rushing it, but once you outgrow legend difficulty, cataclysm is a must.
as much as i agree with you for “needing” winds of magic for cataclysm, there will be people out there who would rather save their money and spend it on something else, like another DLC or game. Fatshark charging almost $30 is pretty criminal and most people should only get Winds on a sale. That being said, yes, the true endgame lies in cataclysm for those that WANT it. It’s just so expensive. I hope FS eventually make cataclysm free for everyone. One can only hope…
Imo it's "highly encouraged" rather than "needed". For as much of a bonus the winds of magic Dlc, the weave and the new beastmen enemies can turn alot of people away especially considering the chaos wastes are alot more accessible because it's free and is highly replayable.
0:41 Yes, and it's a fact. Especially since u dont have to "kiss" the enemies to hit em, as the weapons hitboxes are bit longer than the actual model.
Hitboxes longer than weapon models is a flaw. A useful one, once you understand the "ghost range", but a flaw nonetheless. I'd rather have longer models that match the hitbox, even if they'd have to be longer.

@@haurg7418 Compromise meaning they had to sacrifice something for the sake of player comfort. As I said, it is objectively a flaw if a model does not correspond to a hitbox. It can lead to unintuitive use, confusion and a steeper learning curve. Once you get used to it, it's fine. They wanted to have a cookie and eat it too, this is the result. As I said, I like it. Not perfect by any measure, but a lot better than most.

Try fallout 4 melee u almost have to get on top of the enemies to hit, vomit inducing. my go to setup is running kerillian with her handmaiden career and opting for a spear and shield build with the moonfire bow! a great website i can recommend is Ranald’s gift, which is a site dedicated to vermintide 2 builds, updated for the latest patch as well: www.ranalds.gift/
Just filter what you like, i'm sure you'll find what you want in there. My build is a hybrid sort of build, sporting tank with frontlining and special killing in between if the team needs it. anything 4.6.0 and up is okay, there hasn't been any major changes since then
If you end up playing, its kinda sad that cataclysm, where the real endgame is at is locked behind winds of magic :P

if you’re on PC, the current player base at the moment as of today is 1358 players. is usually peaks around 2.5 to 3k players, depending on the day. if you’re curious about the player count yourself, use steam charts and look the game up on there! unsure about console player counts as there’s no way of checking
I just bought vermintide 2 and I feel like it's not the same game that you have my UI is different, I never get into matches with people it's always bots and my crafting menu is on the inn with the forge and all that. Do I need to finish the first chapter to get everything or is it something different? Also I don't have abilities but I'm guessing thats due to my level being low.
my UI is different because i’m using mods, and you can play the game however you choose! level yourself up a bit and once you reach level 15, that’s where things begin to ramp up and you can run higher difficulties from there on out. rarities are locked through low levels so you just gotta keep at it and you’ll get there. what platform are you playing out of curiosity?

For careers, they’re seperate, so each player needs to get them. for map DLCs, you just need the host to have it and everyone can play those!

there’s 5 characters but i only talked about a few of them cause i don’t play the other ones often. 5 characters, 15 base game careers, 5 DLC careers as of this comment!

I downloaded this game a week ago and there are verry few active players and connection issues. What this game would need is crossplay for a bigger player pool
And I realy hate runners, rookies that just want to get kills I meet them all the times. They activate the enemies and keep on running. It end with me killing all enemies thats swarming the players behind and I need to pick up the runners and then they keep on like a headless chicken. Learn the game or just go back to Cod or other "die respawn" games.

I can't fathom why the download is so large? You only get a few characters, 1 career each, a hub area and what feels like the same 4 or 5 levels over and over again. You have to pay for more levels and career paths, which after 5 years isn't that cheap tbh. The graphics aren't particularly outstanding either so I just wonder why it's so big? No campaign, just the one game mode. The characters you start with are deliberately shite and goofy looking so you buy the cool looking characters behind the pay wall, which I find really predatory tbh it's fine, not amazing, just needs more content (which is confusing because the download is over 100 Gb)
I can’t fathom it either. thankfully they reduced by size by a reasonable amount a few months back (can’t remember the exact amount) and they added more recently because of a soundtrack that they dropped, which is questionable because they could just make it a seperate download or something instead of adding it on top of the game… that being said, chaos wastes takes a substantial amount outside of the base game and campaign DLCs due to the sheer amount of maps it adds and some of the base classes the game gives you are some of the best classes in the game… level the characters up and you’ll see that you get more options, maybe “nicer” looking characters according to your standards and a lot more content to unfold. asking for more content is just telling Fatshark to add more GB to the game if you think about it… and this game has plenty of content to sink your teeth into. players in the comments that have tons of hours speak in support of a long term game that they always come back to or still jump on to play a few rounds.
double backing on this, some of those first classes are some of the BEST classes in the game. ranger veteran and witch hunter captain are amazing classes , ranger boasting high ranged damage to shred special enemies and an amazing ult in witch hunter that stuns and gives all players critical hit chance for a few seconds. if you’ve watched my video, you’ll know that i mention the witch hunter, which is the first class you get for saltzpyre and is AMAZING. i would argue that every class in the game is good, you’ve just gotta put the time in to unlock the others and see the potential they have when it comes to playing this game. it opens up LOTS of options. and what do you mean by no campaign? this game has a campaign with 13 base missions, additional ones that have either been free or can be purchased with DLC. i don’t know why i’m reiterating some parts from my video, but just in case something is confusing, it’s there.

Darktide is sooooo much better and fun than this constant melee spam game... Distant weapons are really less used in Vermintide 2 than in Darktide, and melee combat isn't interesting enough to make Vermintide 2 a great game.

why exactly do you want to be able to quote on quote “ungrab” yourself? all you need to do is either time your shove right as they jump you in order to counter the attack or get a bot/player to shove or shoot the assassin whenever you get attacked by them… it’s not rocket science. that would be pointless if they added a mechanic to pull yourself out of an assassin’s lunge. it would make gutter runners pointless then 😂 same thing with hook rats too. if you are getting frustrated over two simple attacks that are easily countered, i don’t know what to say
