On the Glock 26, the grip situation is easily and best solved by swapping out the mag baseplate with a Pearce PG-26 that perfectly accommodates your pinky and allows for a perfect grip.
You like it lots because it's all you know and in reality it's OK and does the job but it's not really the best. I like Glock, but theirs so many better EDC pistols out there. I like the Sig a little more than Glock. I think my favorite pistol is the Walther PPQ line.

Glock knows how to sell snow to eskimos. You buy a smaller guns to conceal better then when you actually shoot it you buy pinky extensions and +3 extended mags which prints as much as a normal sized pistol because you can't grip the pistol properly because that thing recoils like a .357 magnum.

i have both and for me , 100 percent the 26 has less recoil and more accurate in my opinion.
