I'm very VERY Blessed to have a hairdresser who was gentle and a good listener. She didn't do my box braids tight , the only pain came from laying on them, I'm Soo so happy for my turnout , she did so good !! And this was my first time getting them at 22 and now I know what to expect next time.(: Great video btw. It was a little annoying trying to tie up my hair to shower ! Ugh.
I know it's been three years now but if you have box braids in and you want to shower you know those black bin bags I just wear them from the tip if my hair, then all my hair is un and the top of the bin bag I just tie it to a knot and when I'm done showering I take it out in the tub so water doesn't get everywhere

My sister did mine and she does it perfect, knotless , it doesn’t hurt at all , but I got it almost to my knees and it feels slightly weighted, but I don’t like weight on my hair . I put it up like yours and I still feel a slight pull(I do not like any sort of pull) so I’m looking for a way to put it up high like that with no pain whatsoever on my hair itself becaye the style is so cute. It’s my first time wearing hair. As my hair is already long but I wanted to try something new and what better than support my little sister as her first client
