Profe muchas gracias por enseñarnos un ingles avanzado . He visto muchas frases en peliculas y no las entendia . Pero gracias a usted ya se que quieren decir
Hello Carlos. Of course, you are always enriching and brushing up on our English knowledge. Your videos represent a fundamental part of my day-to-day learning. I’d love to break down every single one of your videos so I can have them in a written way and that way read your lessons during my commute to work and home. It’s just that there are a lot of videos; however, I find it fun. Thank you a lot!
Hi profe, how you doin' ?. Great video profe, I could use all those expressions indistinctly no matter if it's a positive or negative situation, in fact they can be used indistinctly but now I know the expression "that's behind me now" is for negative situations only, according to what you said. In other words: "It's beyond me" could be a synonym for "I don't get it" and "It's over my head" right profe ?. Regarding this guy who talks about the broken phone, well, if you don't believe in your own senses, that's to say, if you don't believe in what you see, hear, touch or smell, I don't know what other physical evidence he's talking about, maybe he refers to the fact of touching an UFO which I think it's not gonna happen. Thanks for the video profe and for the answer.
He contradicts himself in a way by saying that we're not supposed to rely on our senses. But in the hypothetical case someone brings an object from an alien spacecraft, I have to look at it, I have to touch it. I have to use my senses to identify the object.
@@EnSimplesPalabras Yeah, that's right profe, I've got to trust my senses 'cause that's the first source of information and it's a little bit hard for that source to fail as he said, unless someone's blind, deaf or dumb.

Te faltó "Tha's water under the bridge"
Thatcher keed at past time
What do you mean ?.
"That was water under the bridged"... Could be another way to say that's something the past.
After "a los of", we have a noun. After "a lot", we have a verb (to verb).
*A lot of
