I have a DJI drone but that Hubsan Zino Pro is impressive ... especially at that price point.

Thanks a million for this video. These are my only 2 drones owned. Awesome contrasting birds with great results. Learning some manual work in the zino pro helps balance it out. The fact it's stable in flight makes it worth it. And of course maintenance care. I only had the air 2 for a couple weeks. Learning it still. The sensors definitely made the difference between em for low level flight in/around objects. Good routes either way for whichever bracket of buyer

your experiments are always great. thanks for all you do. I have had the zino pro for months and I'm happy with the video quality. I see it has an option for 4k 60 fps but I can't activate it. any thoughts?

the zino 2 is the only one with 4k at 60fps the pro does have 60fps labeled on there but it is only for 1080p you cant make 4k 60fps only 1080 60 fps

I have the Zino Pro and I have to say that I am impressed with the video I get out of the camera. I am hoping to add the Mavic Air 2 soon to my fleet. I do wish that the sport mode on the Zino Pro was an actual sport mode though. Other than that no major complaints. When you color graded the Zino to match the Air 2 I really couldn't tell much difference in the quality of the camera. I wonder what the Zino Pro + is going to bring to the table from a camera perspective. That will be interesting.

I likes the Zino 2 camera but the red lens flare was a deal breaker. I dont see how they didnt catch that before sending them out.

Nice comparison. I just bought the Zino Pro because it was on sale on Banggood. stabilized 4k video for 290 dollars is unmatchable.
Did you shoot this video with ordinary or vivid color settings in the Zino?
Mavic looks sharper and more natural colors, of course, but it definitely doesn't look two times better. You can process Zino's picture to close match the airs' without too much hassle. Zino is a better value.
Also, why didn't you encode this video in 4k? Premiere presets are not that great tbh. Thanks a lot anyway for the comparison!

      First: super video, thanks.
Second: best firmware, a hot topic. Over at The QC Guy's facebook page most say that 1.18 is the most stable, I'm still on 1.16 works for me. However a lot also say they're doing fine with 1.23 v2.
      facebook.com/groups/HubsanQC
Third: As to the sport mode, well I see it so. Sport mode is not turbo mode, it's just full throttle everything at 100% Not good for video takes, which means one can set up their preference for video taking, I think you DJI folks call it tripod, then when one is just cruising from point A to point B one can go into 'sport mode' then back into video at the touch of a button.
PS: really like your stuff here, I'm often pointing folks your way, The uses of AB files is one of my favorites.

Definately the Mavic Air 2. Occusync is one of the best transmission systems out there right now. Plus you don't get that much flight time on a Zino Pro battery unless you get the Gifi batteries or that hideous 5000 mah battery.

The Zino pro does has it issues, haven’t had any major issue with mine but toilet bowl after a firmware updates months ago. Been solid every since. The camera is good for the price point. Good for those risky shots. If anything go wrong doing risky shots you are not at a great lose..
Nice video you did on comparing the 2.

Not scrolling all comments - sry if repeating but the Hubsan Zino Pro seemed exceptionally comparable at 0.38 the cost of the DJI. The Mavic really just looked like a filter was used. Insofar as detail, unless I was running an op where I needed to see individual spears of asparagus on someone's plate, the Zino Pro was my pick for a step up from trainer to working test bed. The two battery version plus controller and all cables\parts fit perfectly into a Pelican 1400 with pick-n-pluck foam.

Mavic Air 2 gravando a 120 mega bits por segundo mostra que realmente o detalhamento da Imagem está muito melhor do que o Zino Pro! Mas pelo preço confesso que o Zino Pro mandou bem.

The Zino image is not nearly as sharp as the Mavic. As far as color goes, It's all in the settings and then post processing. I own the original Mavic pro and getting your settings just right for any particular setting and type of day can be challenging. But that's why you fly often and keep good records of what settings work best under differing conditions.
