My 90 year old dad passed away last November and he was a Bundy man. I was cleaning out his cupboards and went through some of his Bundy hoard. B Solera, B 101, B Master Distillers, B Black to name a few (all unopened). He always said his house would never burn down. It would 'EXPLODE' lol. So fun to watch a yanky sheila drinking Bundy rum. Cheers mate, love your stuff.
If you haven't been to Bundaberg, please make the effort. And go to the Bundaberg Distillery. Just to see how rum is made. And then there is the range of Bundaberg soft drinks made by the distillery. Non-alcoholic of course. If you do the tour, a tasting of Bundy rums is included.
i live an hour from bundy lol, nothing like a few Dark & Stormy's on a hot weekend ( Aussie Dark & Stormy = 2 shots of OP Bundy, 1 shot of Apple cider/juice, fill the rest with Bundy Ginger Beer and ice 👌
Two fights in every bottle of Bundy. Love the Holden shotglass. Normally, anyone on Bundy will at some stage rip off their shirt and try to start a fight.
I reckon you need to explore Hoochery Rums from Kununarra WA.Their spiced rum has mango and boab flavours ( Hoochery was created by a US expatriot),definitely on ice only.
If you want to try a really smooth Bundy, then you have to try the 'Small Batch Vintage Barrel'. It's not the cheapest in the shop (normally at $85 or so), but it sometimes is around $55 on special at BWS, actually only sold there, or at some specialty Bottlo's. There is only one better, but at over $100/bottle, not cheap, and very hard to find. It's called the 'Dark Oak' Bundy. Very rare find, but absolutely amazing. For very special occasions.
Bundabergs other distillery Kalki Moon is worth a look. Ex Bundaberg Master Distiller. Small batch, more flavour, big variety. From Rum Liqueurs, Cane Spirits to 3-4yr old dark rums, up and op. Ask for Jye and i'll be happy to give you some complimentary samples
8:15 I promise, no more comments. However, have you tried Woodford Reserve Double-Oaked Bourbon? Oh, my. It is to die for. My other favourite bourbons are Wild Turkey Rare Breed, and Blanton's Original Private Reserve (or the straight from the barrel but it's very expensive).
the chocky liquor is great in hot milo/chocolate as well. the Bundy ginger beer factory (fizzy drinks) also does a christmas spiced ginger beer, which is very limited but very nice.
Thank you, knocking back a Merlo as I watched this - excellent, Mis K, must try your first choice. My Dad tells a yarn where he and his brothers had brought my grandfather a bottle of OP Bundy for his Birthday, I envisage this to be in the mid 1940s. They had opened the bottle and replaced a tablespoon of rum with the same amount of water. The three presented this to their Dad, who was very appreciative and asked all to have a celebration snort with him. As all four took their snort, he looked around and said, " Thanks again Lads, very nice, just want to know, about the water content"?
Love your work! I came here 30 years ago for work from Atlanta and had the bad manners to stay and call Australia Home. Bundy Solera is my favorite! A bit pricy but it is sublime.
Crikey! I don't drink anymore, so I'm amazed how many varieties of Bundy rum are around these days. There were only original and OP rum in the 80s and 90s. Was hard to beat a Bundy and coke at a gig or the pub 😊
I do like the colour of Original Bundy. It reminds me of a lighter-coloured Golden Syrup or a really light Molasses. Sadly, for me, UP Bundy also has a sickly sweet flavour for my taste buds. That's why I like the OP. It is not as sweet or sickly (to me) as regular Bundy.
4:17 Annd, PAUSE. See the residue at the bottom of the bottle? That's coffee. You need to really shake that bottle to get that residue to mix. Kinda like rolling a bottle of Cooper's Pale Ale, or tipping a bottle of Cooper's Sparkling Ale. Ya gotta get those chunky bits mixed in!
I missed this. So, I tend to comment as I watch (sorrry), so...I'm looking at your table 11 seconds in and I need to comment before we go any further. I had a really bad experience with Bundy Rum as a teen, and as such, haven't drunk it since. Well, except when I bought myself a bottle of OP (56%). Oh, my! All that sickly sweet aftertaste disappeared! If you haven't tried OP Bundy, please, give it a go. And I'll bet you have a bottle hiding away that I'll see when I watch. And, Mr Black! I am a HUGE fan of the original Mr. Black, probably because I also love Kahlua, and Mr Black takes Coffee Liquier to a whole new level. Looking at that 'coconuts!' bottle makes me want to try it. I'm a coconut nut...
I totally agree with you Kinda. I drank a LOT of Bundy and Coke after i had a skin full of beer every day and night after a hard days yakka. I am FULLY type 2 Diab and am in my doteage but, i could smell the Bundy through my screen. Good onya kiddo. 😢😮😢😮😊😊😅😅
I'm sure the special chocolate & coffee bundy rums are delish. However, the best rums in the world are in the Carribean....vanilla, spices, smooth etc.....because they've been distilling them for centuries. Regular straight Bundy burns my throat by comparison. Try this: Carribean rum, ice, crushed limes, raw sugar called "Ti Punch" Delish! pronounced "tee punch" ie: "small punch"
Haven’t watched yet But after reading title - “Oh No!” Australian History suggests if you begin drinking earliesh like say @ 16 - the average age for many Australians to go out drinking - Bundy Rum is the first choice and I reiterate - “Oh No!”
Just out of curiosity how long have you been here? You have slight hints of an Australian accent every now and again. Also if you want a nice Australian rum to try, give Inner circle black dot a try, it's 76% abv but very tasty, super fruity and smooth

And a trip to Kalki Moon!

😂
especially with red rum.... spell "Red rum" backwards😂
Many years ago, a friend and I used to make our own Irish cream. We varied it by using Bundy, instead of Irish whiskey.
Ya can't make anything Irish using Bundys.
That's just insulting.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 You never tasted it. Besides, we were young. What did we know?

As a born and breed Aussie, I prefer 'Jim Beam' bourbon over 'Bundy' rum. Bourbon & Coke, yum.

good video thanks
you need to try some good quality australian rum like inner circle, beenleigh rum and capricorn.
Not a coke lover but Bundy with Bundy ginger beer is the best, IMO. Some of those others look interesting, though, I must admit ❤️🤘🎸🎻🦘
The regeneration bottle isn't standard bundy, its still available omline from the Distillery and its delicious. Crack it open you'll love it
You ripper. What time of year can you get the Chrissy edition stuff? 😮😮😮
A girl who loves rum 😍 I'm more a Caribbean rum type rather than a Bundy type. But a girl that loves rum, yes, please 😍😍
About time you showed off the sugarcane champagnes!
One word that should NEVER be used in the same sentence as Bundy is Bourbon!!!!!
You’ve proven you’re more Australian than I am.
Just missing the red rum 😊
I bought two bottles of overproof distilled them and got one bottle of 160 proof. It is too strong to drink

How is the headache?
Which one would you pour over icecream?
The royal liquor Coffee and chocolate. Deadset best desert liquor going.
Mr. Black sounds dangerous.
Like a Rum version of Baileys.
What's s'mores?
Why does the camera glitch every time you have a sip

Bundy Rum the old Queensland Diesel
Remember there's always gunfire tea.
Lol bit ironic giving something called "gunfire" to a yank
Your ready for a party LOL
The no.1 and 2 spots were predictable. Shame you don't have any bundaberg black.
Queensland diesel
Beer and now Bundy, careful looks like your slipping.
What's wrong with beer?

I drink Johnnie walker or Coopers beer.
But American alcohol is dreck.
You lost literaly everyone with your preferred drink being jonnie walker... that stuff makes metho taste smooth.
@Kevin89866 Don't be silly.
Johnnie walker is much better than that bogan bundys shit.
WOW!!!!
