    I wish I had one of these,even as a project I'd have no problem with putting in the work such a great vehicle.

    Ladies and Gentlemen, the sound you hear while watching this video is known as the "ROCKET RUMBLE", and there is only one type of engine that makes this beautiful sound. And that is a genuine Oldsmobile Rocket V8. No other engine ever produced by any other automobile manufacturer sounds as awesome as this does.
    Oh, and that is a beautiful Cutlass, James. I had a 1975 model myself, currently being enjoyed by a couple in Wisconsin.

    Is a 1974 old enough now so engine mods are smog legal? Get some 1960s style power?

    Why would they paint the motor blue it should be gold if it’s a 350 rocket but nice ride

    • @yeehaa3181
      @yeehaa3181 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, gold if it's a 350. The one in this video has the W-30 option; thus, it has the 455 which is totally correct with its factory blue engine color. Non W-30s had the 350.

      @@yeehaa3181 Blue was the factory color for engines in 74 through the demise of the V8s. Gold was 72 and prior for 350. My 75 Cutlass 350 4 bbl was Blue.

    Always liked the '69, '74, and '84 HO Cutlass 442s... Just didn't care for the '79s, though... Maybe because the boxy body style was still too new and fresh in the mind back then...
