At this point ado's voice becomes another instrument and she plays it so well
She wasn’t always that good. Early in her career she was more rough and less refined with hitting those notes but she’s almost mastered her craft now which is insane. I listened to her but wasn’t a fan but I’ve been one since 3 years ago
Fun fact: this song played during the event of Universal Studio Japan, Halloween Horror Night. At certain time and location, every 30 minutes, this song will be played in speakers, and the actors (either zombies, vampires, possessed dolls, mythical creatures, etc. based on your area/location there) will dance on the middle of roads like a parade while trying to scare/interact visitors. The center is the big stage where white female zombies and the vampires dance the same song there.
That's why you will see YT shorts from Japanese people there are some snippets of the dance with different dancing actors using this song.
You don't have to react the videos on camera, but it is quite entertaining and fun to watch since they are so good at it. Some of them encourage kids, teens, even young adults to come nearer to the streets to dance with them if they memorized the choreography.
Man that is crazy cool. Really, Universal Studios and Ado together was the best thing that happened in my opinion
@@ShadowNeverDie it is, well, US Japan shows that Halloween is not about scaring people, but have fun and dance together- music is an universal language, and dancing is part of art- they successfully make the trip more enjoyable and fun. Even the zombies actually have soft spots to children (they will interact with them more nicer, even willingly to break in character to interact with them)
I wish other Universal Studios learn this memorable event, it will create an unique experience.

Teddyloid and Giga are like the dynamic duo of electronic music production for me. Any song they're both working on together (and when they're individually working alone) always turns out amazing. But this song definitely wouldn't be so amazing without Ado's masterful vocals over it. Just straight up musical perfection
Let's also give some props to FAKE TYPE for the lyrics. That man knows how to write bangers.
And for me those 2 + Ado are the dynamic trio that appear in lots of my favorite songs haha

Exactly my thoughts. There are reaction videos where you just vibe with someone getting hyped on things you love. And there are Tony's reaction videos, where you have "quality hype", backed up with knowledge you can soak in like a sponge.
That persistent going back and musical knowledge he shares with us - common people - is what really sold me on his channel.

This song is like a whole album in one song. I listen to it since it came out almost every day and I never get bored lol
I feel you may be the only reactor to get almost all intricancies that goes into this song and I can see you really enjoy this one with the constant going back and smiling just at what was going on. It may be not her best vocal performance (Crime and Punishment or the live uranvel cover may be her very best vocal performances) but as a composition point of view, this is by far her best work. Kudos to the whole team behind producing this.

Ado as vocalist, Tophamhatkyo as lyricist, giga and teddyloid for the mix, this is a certified garanteed banger, every single one of them is goated and worth checking out their individual productions.

I first read about "Show" because she wrote it in collaboration with Universal Studios Japan for their Halloween events. Did not expect it to go so hard as a standalone song, probably my favorite from Ado now too!

Whenever Giga and TeddyLoid comes together with Ado, it's something so extraordinary.
This song was a massive collaboration between many producers. The main two of this song I believe are Giga and TeddyLoid who are also responsible for Odo, as well as many, many other songs by many artists.

To be fair I haven't listened to a lot of new music this year, but regardless, this is easily the best song I've heard all year.

The first time I heard this song, I wasn't really paying attention because it's all upbeat and dance-y.. but once we got to that sick-ass drum part in the middle I was like "oh shit", they'd better get Tony to react to this because it's amazing. Today, that wish was fulfilled.
So much happening in this song. I love Ado's vocal variety and change-ups. I scored a ticket to see her sold-out show in L. A. in March (wasn't easy). Can't wait to see her live... 😀
We need more Ado Tony! She’s awesome. Her and the producers Giga/TeddyLoid are a mean duo.
Would recommend Odo(for similar edm style) and also her tracks from the one piece movie! Or just any of her music, they are all different. One of the few artists where I actually go for the vocals not just the music

Show is probably my favorite song of 2023
Not only is it fun and upbeat to dance to but the vocals are easily the most difficult out of any ado song (source: ado herself) which makes it a great challenge to sing
Ado as wells as the music producers Giga and TeddyLoid are a deadly combo. I highly recommend checking out their older song "Odo" with the same people

Giga and Teddyloid always make heat when they work together and with FAKE TYPE on the lyrics and Ado on the mic there was never a chance this wouldn't be great.

The other day, I was in Narita with my mom and my sister. We were at Don Quijote by the Aeon Mall. They played this awesome song and I then realized this is the same song "Show" by Ado! And they even played this song at Book Off, too!
This was one of the main songs at universal studios Japan during Halloween and my kids (students) will dance it during our Christmas Pageant so I am hearing it every day and I am still loving it❤
Awesome dive man! For some extra context, some of the folks working on this piece are worth looking at on their own. Giga is a producer known for his creative and "busy" beat making, sample use and inspired use of multi-cultural drum styles. Teddyloid is a producer known for making club music that is wildly polished for how experimental his signature sound is. The two work together quite a bit, notably on another Ado single "Odo". Both also frequently work in collaboration with other producers and vocalists, they never miss.
Finally FAKE-TYPE, a lyricist-rapper/producer duo who have a very unique flow/style. They are known for their electro-swing inspired sound and crazy rap flow. Such a fun world to explore man, glad you're enjoying it!

When I first heard this song I was like “I dunno if this is my thing” but then I paid attention to the details in it and realised it really is a banger. I then wondered “how am I going to convey this to my partner without him writing the song off as just another party song.”

I love the transition in that clapping section. It starts in a flat, rap like verse, then she doubles her vocals up and the piano chords, brings the melody in, im not sure but maybe its in g? Just so cool.

I've just realized recently that ado's songs were mainly produced by Giga-p, one of the big producer of vocaloid genre
Giga-p has this signature sound in his most songs like hand clap, and the word giga out of nowhere, so it's easily recognisable. If you're interested with this kind of 'magic' you can check out his other songs

The kanji used for this song, 唱, has an onyomi reading of "shō", which sounds like the English "show", but the kanji itself means "chant; recite; call upon; yell".

Not only that, but sometimes when the background or other objects in the current scene glitch? it sounds like an alarm or an air raid siren, it adds to the already building anticipation, and spikes it even further. So the when the beat drops it's even more satisfying!
